COMPATIBILITY
This Carbon Monoxide detector works with the Z1 Zigbee Bridge
and the ICS-2000 to give additional functionality like receiving
push notifications when Carbon Monoxide is detected. NOTE: For
receiving push notifications, a fully working internet connection is
required. Replace the detector max 10 years after production date.
The production date can be found on the battery label inside the
sensor
PLACING CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR
• The detector must be placed at a horizontal distance between 1 and
3 meters from the CO source (boiler, geyser, central heating system,
gas heater).
• Ensure that the detector is placed centrally in the room.
• Place the detector at least 30 centimeters from surrounding walls.
• The detector must be placed at breathing level in the bedroom (this
is the height at which you sleep)
• Always comply with local legislation regarding installation in
buildings.
• Do not place the detector in or under a cabinet
• Do not place the detector where it is obstructed by curtains
or furniture.
• Do not place the detector in a damp room.
• Do not place the detector next to existing air inlets or outlets
or other objects on the ceiling.

TESTING AND USAGE
• Always test the CO detector with the test mode after installation
and then once a week. Replace the CO alarm immediately if the
test fails.
• Replace the battery immediately when the CO alarm indicates that
the battery is low. (up to 3 years of battery life) (See LED function
table)
• Never use water, cleaning agents or solvents to clean the CO
detector as this may damage the device.
• If the CO detector is damaged, replace it immediately.
• The CO alarm will not warn residents with a hearing impairment. It
is recommended to install special CO detectors to warn people with
hearing diculties.
• Use only a CR123A 3.0V lithium battery. Other batteries can cause
unreliable operation.
• When the battery is removed, the CO alarm will no longer work.
• Press the test button to check the operation after replacing the
battery.
If you suspect that there is a CO leak, open the doors
and windows to ventilate. If possible, switch o all fuel-driven
devices, leave the premises and call professional help.

1. REMOVE BATTERY PULL STRIP
ARemove the detector from the mounting bracket by twisting it.
BPull the battery pull strip out of the CO detector. After removing
the battery pull strip, the CO detector will beep and will warm
up (can take up to 2 min). (See LED function table)
2. INDICATORS
The CO detector contains an LED indicator light to indicate
the status. Look below for the meaning of the dierent LED
indications.
LED FUNCTION TABLE
Warming up LED light flashes red, green and yellow
Connected
successfully
LED will light up for 3 sec (The App will also indicate when
the connection is successful)
Detector reset LED will flash 6x
Test LED light flashes 4x fast red and the detector beeps 4x
Alarm LED light flashes red and the detector beeps 4x (85 db)
every 5 seconds. The detector stops as soon as no more
CO is detected

indicate that the CO alarm is working properly

Battery low
indication
LED light flashes 1x yellow and the detector beeps every
30 seconds
Error LED light flashes 2x yellow and the detector beeps 1x long
and 1x short every 30 seconds. Remove the battery and
insert it again.
Replace
detector
LED light flashes 2x yellow and gives 1 long and 1 short
beep every 30 seconds. The detector needs to be
replaced
3. DOWNLOAD APP
First download and install the
KlikAanKlikUit App from the
Google Playstore or App store
to connect the CO detector
to an ICS-2000 or Z1 ZigBee
bridge.
4. CONNECT DETECTOR
AIn the App, select a room,
press the + button and choose
Trust Zigbee line/Carbon
Monoxide detector and follow
the instructions. For manual set
up of push-notifications go to
the rules tab, press the +
button and select notification
wizard.
5. MOUNT THE DETECTOR
AMount the bracket of the
detector on a flat surface on
the ceiling and secure it with
the included screws.

6. TEST MODE
Activate the test mode of the
detector to check the operation
by pressing the Test button.
The LED will flash fast and the
detector will sound.
RESET DETECTOR AND
ACTIVATE CONNECT MODE
Warning: This step will
disconnect the detector from
the Z1 Zigbee Bridge or the
ICS-2000. To reset the detector
press the button in the hole
at the side for approximately 5
sec with the included pin. The
LED will flash 6x to confirm
the reset.
Activate connect mode: After
resetting the detector you can
activate the connect mode by
pressing the button in the
hole on the side for approx.
2 sec. The LED will flash fast
for 1 minute to indicate the
connection mode.
REPLACE BATTERY
AOpen the battery
compartment by removing
the detector from the
bracket.
BRemove the empty battery
and insert a new 3V
CR123A lithium battery in
the compartment. Note
the positive and negative
polarity.
CLock the detector back
on the bracket. Test if the
battery is placed correctly
by activating the test mode.
(See step 6).
