Instruction For Use
■
To fill the kettle taking away the lid on top.
■
Put in at least enough water to cover the bottom of the kettle but never more than
the maximum (MAX).
■
To close the kettle, slide the lid until it is being locked.
■
Do not operate the kettle with the lid open or removed.
■
Place kettle on the base unit, engaging the 360 centigrade degrees base unit
connector.
■
The rotary type base unit allows you to place the kettle in any convenient position.
■
Plug in and switch on at the wall socket.
■
The neon light in RED will illuminate indicating that the kettle is connected to
power supply.
■
To start boiling, turn the temperature control in clockwise direction to BOIL. The
neon light in BLUE will illuminate indicating water is boiling. Water will be reboiled
from time to time and kept at highest temperature until the temperature control is
adjusted to another lower keep warm temperature in anti-clockwise direction.
■
For example, to turn the temperature control to about 60 centigrade degrees
means to keep the average water temperature at about 60 centigrade degrees
To remove the kettle from the base unit, grasp the handle and hold the kettle level
while lifting it clear of the base unit. Take extra care if the kettle is filled to MAX.
If you are using the kettle for the first time, pour away the boiled water and refill.
If you do not put in enough water, or switch on the temperature control when it is
empty, the safety cut-out will switch off the power automatically. If this happens, wait
a few minutes for the element to cool, then refill and use as normal.
■
The kettle must only be used with the base unit provided and is not to be filled
when located on the base unit.
■
Clean the filter by brushing GENTLY with a small soft brush under water.
■
Do not use a sharp object which may damage the filter mesh.
■
If the supply cord is damaged,it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

To protect against fire, electric shock and personal injury, do not immerse cord,
plugs or kettle in water or other liquid.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.

Do not operate with a damage cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or

Do not let cord hang over edge of table counter or touch hot surfaces.

Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.

Disconnect the kettle from the main supply when filling or pouring.
■
Boil only as much water as you need as this saves electricity.
■
Always close the lid securely before switching on, ensure lid is locked correctly.
Otherwise, the kettle will not switch off automatically and it may spit out boiling
water.
■
Do not remove the lid when the water is boiling.
■
Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the
kettle too fast.
■
Ensure the kettle is used on a firm, flat surface.
■
Avoid contact with steam from the spout when the water is boiling or just after it
has switched off.
■
Do not fill above the MAX mark on the internal water level marking.
■
If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
■
Do not use abrasive cleaners on the outside of the kettle - these may scratch the
surface.
■
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot water.
Do not use the kettle for any use other than to boil water.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
■
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
■
farm houses
■
by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments
■
bed and breakfast type environments

Cleaning
"Disconnect from the mains supply before cleaning.
Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the kettle.
Never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents as these may damage the
finish of your kettle."
Decalcification
"The decalcification intervals depend on the hardness of the water and frequency of
use.
Decalcification should be carried out every 3 to 4 months."
If the machine switches off before the water boils, it probably needs to be decalcifi-
cation.
"Please do not use vinegar but a commercially available decalcification agent on the
basis of citric.
Only use the quantities stated in the instruction."

ÖNEMLİ EMNİYET TALİMATLARI
■
Su ısıtıcıyı doldurmak için üst kapağını çıkartınız.
■
En az su ısıtıcının tabanını kaplayacak kadar su doldurunuz ama asla
maksimum seviyenin (MAX) üzerinde doldurmayınız.
■
Su ısıtıcının kapağını kapatınız.
■
Su ısıtıcıyı kapağı açıkken veya üzerinde yokken çalıştırmayınız.
■
Su ısıtıcıyı 360 derece dönebilen güç tabanının üzerine yerleştiriniz.
■
Güç tabanı dönebilen taban olduğu için su ısıtıcıyı istediğiniz konumda üzerine
yerleştirebilirsiniz.
■
Fişini prize takınız ve çalıştırınız.
■
Su ısıtıcının çalıştığını gösteren KIRMIZI ışık yanacaktır.
■
Su kaynatmayı başlatmak için ısı kontrol düğmesini KAYNAMA (BOIL) yönüne
doğru çeviriniz.
■
Neon lamba MAVİ yanarak suyun kaynamakta olduğunu gösterir. Su zaman
zaman tekrar tekrar kaynayacaktır ve ısı kontrol düğmesi daha düşük bir seviyeye
saat yönünün tersine çevrilerek ayarlanana kadar su en yüksek ısıda tutulacaktır.
Örneğin; ısı kontrol düğmesinin yaklaşık 60 dereceye çevrilmesi suyun ortalama
60 derecede sıcak tutulması demektir.
■
Su ısıtıcıyı güç tabanından kaldırmak için tutma yerinden sıkıca tutunz ve su
ısıtıcıyı düz bir seviyede tutarak kaldırınız. Eğer su ısıtıcı MAX seviyede dolu ise
çok dikkatli olunuz.
■
Eğer su ısıtıcıyı ilk defa kullanacaksanız, kaynamış suyu dökünüz ve tekrar
doldurunuz.
■
Eğer su ısıtıcıya yeteri miktarda su koymazsanız veya su ısıtıcı boşken ısı
kontrol düğmesini çevirirseniz emniyet kesici devreye girecektir ve su ısıtıcıyı
kapatacaktır. Eğer bu olursa rezistansın soğuması için bir kaç dakika bekleyiniz ve
tekrar doldurunuz ve normal bir şekilde kullanınız.
■
Su ısıtıcı sadece beraberinde verilmiş olan güç tabanı ile kullanılmalıdır ve su
ısıtıcı güç tabanının üzerindeyken doldurulmamalıdır.
■
Filtreyi küçük yumuşak bir fırça ile akan suyun altında hafifçe temizleyiniz.
■

Kireçten arındırma işlemi aralığı suyun sertliğine ve kullanım sıklığına bağlıdır.
Kireçten arındırma işlemi her 3 – 4 ayda bir uygulanmalıdır.
Eğer su ısıtıcı su kaynamadan kapanıyorsa, muhtemelen kireçten arındırılmaya
ihtiyacı var demektir.
Lütfen sirke kullanmayınız, sitrik asit içeren ticari kireç çözücüleri kullanınız.
Sadece talimatlarda belirtilen miktarda kullanınız.
