CANOLA OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS of Kimseed Vacuum Separator
1. Check that the clean sample catchment tray is in place.
2. Check that Venturi feed funnel is in place.
3. Check that the Trash catchment tray is in place.
4. Check that the air filter screens are clean within the machine.
5. Check that the air filter screens are clean in the clean sample catchment tray.
6. Check that the Top air hole is closed.
7. Check that the filter screen cleaning access flap is closed.
8. PREPARE SAMPLE:
Weigh and screen a 500 gram sample of Canola ready for cleaning.
9. SET AIR FLOW:
With the Set Up complete, switch the Vacuum Separator on and adjust the fan speed
until the air flow gauge reads at the Green line .
The air flow gauge allows for the airflow to be set no matter how the voltage supply to the
Vacuum Separator varies.
10.CLEAN A SAMPLE:
Pour the screened 500gram sample of Canola into the Venturi Feed funnel.
The sample will flow through the feed funnel and down into the drop tube.
Trash is lifted off as the canola falls through the venturi action and into the clean sample
collection tray beneath.
Turn of the fan motor when the sample feed hopper funnel and feed tube is empty.
11.CHECK TRASH TRAY and SAMPLE TRAY for results.
12. REPEAT THE OPERATION for more samples.
