Congratulations! You have just purchased an excellent grain chopper JF 5D-10D, easy to operate
andmaintain.
Besidesgrainchopper,thismachinecanbeconfiguredtoworkasforagechopper.

This Manual supplies the instructions for correct operation, preventive maintenance and

2- Safety Recommendations
2.1- While Reading the Manual

Obs.: You must obey and never discard these labels. In case of repainting, you ought to replace
themwithoriginalitemsasstatedinItem8.

2.2- When operating the machine
1- The JF 5D - 10D is designed exclusively to
desintegrategrainsandchopforage.
2- When supply the machine, never introduct the hands
intothefeedingchute(1).
3-Inordertoobtainthemaximumefficiencyandqualityof
chopped or designed material, maintain a constant and
uniformfeeding.
4- To more security fasten the machine on a even and
rigidsurface.

5-Never usethe machineto choptree branchsor another
rigidmaterial.
6- Never attempt to adjust or repair components with the
machinerunning.
7- Do not leave the machine in a place that can be
operatedbychildrenornotqualifypeople.

8- The cover belt is not included with the machine when it leaves the factory without a motor
coupled,but itsuse isMANDATORY assafety NR12 (Item12.38. Dangerareas of themachineries
andequipmentsmusthavesafetysystems,characterizedbyfixedcovers,mobilecoversandsafety
devices interconnected to ensure health protection and physical integrity of workers) and NR31
(Item 31.12.12 the rural employer or similar are responsible to maintain the security systems in
perfect condition and operation, which the total or partial withdrawal or neutralization of these

2.3- When making maintenance in the machine

Whenever you have to transport the machine for longer distances, when there is need for using
publicroads,thetransportmustbedoneontruckortrailler.

3.2- Operation
The JF 5D - 10D Mill machine is a simple, strong and
versatile machine, designed to help you on daily animal
feed.
Themachineofferstwooperationtypes:
A-Cerealsmill:corn,sorghum,soybeanetc.
For this function, use the grain chopper (1), lower outlet
(2)andoneof4sives(3).Thecerealsmillingisperformed
byhammers(4),thatrotateinhighspeed.
B- Plants chopper for forage such as corn, grass
(elephantgrass,napieretc)andsugarcane.
For this usage, to use the feeding nozzle (5), upper outlet
(6) and sealing rubber (7). The gring action occurs by the
knives(8)andcounterknife(9).
