INSTALL IN A SECURE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
• Install the equipment in a dry, clean, well-ventilated area free from gas and inflammable substances (Acetylene, Propane etc.), which could
cause explosion or fire.
• Never install the compressor where it could come into contact with atmospheric elements. The material used to manufacture the pro-
duct is not water resistant. If electrical parts come into contact with water, it could lead to a short circuit and cause fire.
SWITCH OFF MAIN ELECTRIC SOURCE
• Before inspecting the product, turn the main electric source off by removing the plug from the electric socket or by using the power swit-
ch. Otherwise, it could cause electric shock.
DO NOT TOUCH
• Do not touch moving parts while the main electric source is active, to avoid causing injury to hands.
• The compressor will become hot during use, do not directly touch any part of it during operation, or immediately after, to avoid burns.
GROUND PRODUCT WITH A GROUNDING CABLE
• Correctly ground the product with a grounding cable.
ONLY USE FOR SUPPLYING AIR
• Do not use the compressor to supply any type of gas, other than air, to avoid the risk of fires or explosions.
NEVER CONNECT TO RESPIRATORS
• Never connect respirators to compressed air outlet, to avoid serious injury or irreversible damage to the operator.
NEVER USE FOR SUPPLYING AIR TO MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
• Never directly connect to medical equipment. (Connect a protection system when using with medical equipment). Otherwise the health
or life of the operator could be put at risk.
OBSERVE THE RECOMMENDED WORKING TEMPERATURE
• The recommended working temperature is between 0~40°C. Use at above or below the recommended temperature could cause mal-
function and damage the equipment.
RELEASE AIR PRESSURE
• When you restart the compressor during operation, always release air pressure first, then turn on again.
DO NOT KEEP COMPRESSOR RUNNING FOR PROLONGED PERIODS OF TIME
• The air compressor has a thermal switch that automatically shuts itself off when it becomes overheated or there is a lack
of voltage. If this occurs, turn the compressor off and allow to cool before restarting. For household use, we suggest that you do not
keep the machine running continuously for more that one hour, in order to allow the machine to cool down.
DO NOT USE LUBRICANT
• Do not use any lubricant, which could damage the air compressor.
FLAMMABLE MATERIALS
• Never spray flammable or toxic materials.
DO NOT USE DAMAGED POWER SUPPLY CABLE
• If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a competent person, in order to
avoid hazard.
DO NOT USE TO INFLATE TYRES
• Do not use the compressor to inflate bicycle, car or truck tyres.

SET UP
1. Check that model name is as you ordered and that the following accessories are included: 1 x instruction manual, 1 x air hose, 1x
adapter kit, 1 x o-ring.
2. Check that the product has not been damaged during transportation.
3. Carefully unpack the compressor, and all components, onto a flat, level surface.
4. Teflon tape should be applied to all threaded components prior to assembly, so that air does not leak.
5. Connect one end of the coiled air hose to the compressor motor. Connect the other end of the coiled air hose to the smaller fitting on
the moisture filter.
NOTE:
Attach the coiled hose behind the red arrow on the moisture filter. The red arrow sticker is the airflow direction.
6. A thin black o-ring should be around the clear bowl on the moisture filter. Make sure the o-ring is snug against the upper rim of the
moisture filter, then drop the entire moisture filter assembly into the silver metal holder attached to the compressor motor.
7. Screw the airbrush straight air hose (larger fitting) to the mositure filter, opposite the coiled air hose. The straight air hose should be
attached in front of the red arrow sticker.
NOTE:
If using a different airbrush brand (not Iwata), screw the airbrush hose to the large fitting in the same manner as stated above.
(adapter kit provided for use with non Iwata airbrushes). In both cases, tighten securely with a wrench.
8. Connect the other, smaller end of the airbrush straight air hose to your airbrush. A small black airbrush holder is mounted on top of the
moisture filter and gauge holder. This is for holding the airbrush when not in use. The air compressor system is now assembled and
ready for testing.
TESTING THE COMPRESSOR
1. First, make sure that the electric source switch is turned “OFF” and that there is no residual pressure inside the air hose, then care-
fully plug the compressor directly into a standard wall socket (never connect to poorly mounted wall socket).
DO NOT USE
an exten-
sion lead as it could create a voltage reduction (causing the engine to stall) or cause fire or electric shock.
2. Turn the compressor switch on and make sure that compressed air comes out. The compressor switch is attached to a
small cord inside the compressor housing. Operate for about 5 minutes in these conditions and make sure that the com-
pressor does not create any abnormal sounds or vibrations.
NOTE:
The compressor will leak air from the moisture filter
valve for the first 15 seconds during start up as it automatically drains moisture from inside the bowl.
3. The compressor will run and then shut-off automatically for about 10 seconds, until the storage circuit is full.
4. If the system does not turn itself on after 10-15 seconds, it means that the system is airtight.
5.
Check automatic ON/OFF function:
Connect air hose and airbrush to air outlet, turn electric source switch “ON” and check that it stops oper-
ating after a few seconds.
When it has stopped, push button of airbrush to exhaust compressed air and make sure that it restarts.
Check that air does not leak from the connection.
6. However, if after 10-15 seconds the compressor does not shut-off automatically, OR if it repeatedly shuts on and off when not in use,
there is most likely an air leak.

CHECK FOR AIR LEAKS:
Check all fittings and hose connections, listening for leaking air. Reapply teflon tape to leaking areas where
necessary and re-tighten all hose connections. Also, check to make sure that the air filter knob and the air tank drain are both com-
pletely closed. Feel for air leaking out of both places.
PROBLEMS AND REMEDIES
If a problem occurs, refer to the chart below in order to resolve it.
Items marked with an asterisk (*) in the remedies column, are problems which are difficult for the user to resolve. In this
case, contact the shop which sold it to you, or your local distributor.

HOW TO OPERATE
1. Connect air hose and airbrush to compressor.
2. Make sure electric source switch is turned “OFF” and insert electric source cable into electric socket.
3. Turn electric source switch “ON”.
4. Operation will start.
5. To activate the airflow, pull the trigger on your airbrush. Once the air pressure within the storage tank decreases to 3,5 bar, the com-
pressor will turn itself on again to refill the tank. It will continue to run for as long as you use the airbrush, or until the tank is full. It will
then automatically shut-off again.
AIR PRESSURE REGULATOR AND GAUGE
1. The air pressure regulator regulates the air flow and the air pressure gauge indicates how much air pressure you are using when air-
brushing. When the compressor is running and the airbrush is not in use, the pressure gauge will read between 2,5 and 3,5 bar. This
is called static pressure. The tank air pressure gauge indicates how much pressure has built up in the tank.
2. However, when the airbrush is in use, and depending on the airbrush model, the pressure gauge reading will normally be between 1,5
and 2,4 bar. This is called working pressure.
3. To adjust the working pressure to a lower air pressure setting, activate the air flow by pulling the airbrush trigger; simultaneously,
turn the pressure regulator knob clockwise until the air pressure gauge reading is at the desired working pressure.
4. Trial and error will determine the best operating pressure for various types of airbrushes, paints and colours.
5.
IMPORTANT:
When working with adjusted air pressure, airflow will constantly leak from pressure regulator knob, thus rendering the
automatic shut-off feature inoperative. Closing the pressure regulator knob will reinstate the automatic shut-off feature.
REMEMBER:
To increase air pressure, turn the regulator knob clockwise. To decrease air pressure, turn the regulator knob counter-
clockwise.
1. Make sure that the compressor, air hose and airbrush are securely connected. Accidental disconnection of the air hose dur-
ing operation, could cause bodily injury.
2. Before switching the compressor on, make sure there isn’t any residual pressure inside the air hose, as this could cause the
engine to stall.
3. To avoid burns, do not touch the surfaces of the compressor (except parts necessary to switch it on) during operation.
4. If you detect any unusual noises or vibrations, switch the equipment off immediately and do not switch on again until the
problem has been resolved.
END OF OPERATION
1. To disactivate the compressor after use, turn the power switch “OFF” and pull the airbrush trigger to completely
discharge any residual pressure from the compressor
.
2. Push filter ball drain pin up, exhaust compressed air completely and drain.
3. Use a cup, or similar container, to hold waste when exhausting. Scattering waste can cause injury,
or stain the surrounding area.
Always completely discharge residual air pressure from the air hose after use. Never direct air discharge towards human
body, to avoid causing injury or inflammation of eyes or skin.
CAUTION
MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION
•
To avoid injury or electric shock, always disconnect the compressor from the main electric source, by removing the electric
cable plug from the socket, before carrying out maintenance procedures.
•
Always completely discharge residual air pressure from the compressor before carrying out maintenance procedures, so that
parts under pressure are not forcefully released during disassembly, causing injury.
Draining the Moisture Filter:
1. After prolonged use of the compressor, water condensation will accumulate inside the moisture filter and inside the air storage tank.
2. The compressor is set to automatically drain the filter when the pressure in the tank goes down to 0 PSI.
3. Moisture will be expelled from the bottom of the valve and water will spit out until it is clear.
4. To drain this condensation from the air storage tank, first switch the compressor “OFF” and drain all the air from the tank. Make sure
that pressure in the tank is at 0 PSI and twist open the drain plug by turning it clockwise, using a towel or paper towel to collect the
moisture. Turn the compressor on and the water will drain out of the tank. Tilting the compressor towards the valve will also help
moisture buildup run to that end of the tank, for draining.
5. Once the storage tank is empty, close the drain plug, turning it counterclockwise and tighten until there is no air leaking from the
tank.
