Filling the Burner
To ensure that your burner operates for the average duration (approximately 40-60 min,
depending on the size of the flame), please follow these instructions to fill the burner
with butane gas.
1. Always refill the burner with filtered butane lighter gas in a well-ventilated
room or outdoors.
2. Never fill the burner near an open flame as this creates the risk of a fire
or an explosion.
3. Before filling, make sure the gas control knob is turned to the OFF position.
(See Fig. 5)
4. Flip the burner upside down to access the filler valve, and then turn the butane
canister upside down so the nozzle connects with the filler valve. If the nozzle
doesn’t fit correctly, you may need to use the tips inside the cap of the butane
canister. Push down to start filling with butane. (See Fig. 6)
NOTE: Do not touch or bump the flame head while refilling, as this could cause
damage or a burner malfunction.
5. When the liquid gas starts to escape from the filler valve instead of going into
the burner, the tank is full and you can stop filling. Do not overfill.

Lighting the Burner
1. Press the red safety button down, and turn the gas control knob counterclockwise enough to hear a small hissing
sound. (See Fig. 7)
2. Push the gas control knob in to create a spark, or use a match or a lighter to ignite the flame. (See Fig. 8)
WARNING: Do not touch the unit cover or the body of the burner itself while it’s burning.
Adjusting the Flame
1. To adjust the flame, turn the gas control knob from right to left. (See Fig.7)
2. Set the flame at a low to medium gas flow setting depending on your usage. Ideally, the flame should burn blue. If the
flame starts to burn red, this means that the gas is almost used up, so you should extinguish the flame, close the gas
control knob, and refill the burner with butane.
WARNING:contents are hot. If you need to refill with butane, wait until the burner has cooled down before refilling.
Extinguishing the Burner
Troubleshooting
1. Turn the gas control knob clockwise (from left to right) to extinguish the flame. (See Fig. 5)
2. Make sure the flame is completely extinguished and the burner has cooled before storing or leaving it unattended.
