This user manual is applied for FPLⅡseries connectors in order to instruct how to use the connectors safely.
The manual contains notice points for mating and un-mating process.
FPLⅡ CONN. PLUG CABLE ASS’Y (Harness Side)
FPLⅡ CONN. RECE (PCB. Side)
(Mating process) :
Please set harness side (Plug) and receptacle connector contact (RECE) as the same as fig 1.
The direction of cable side of the harness is opposite with contact soldering side of the receptacle.
Please confirm whether the soldering tail is hidden by the cable or not from top view.
If the direction is opposite, mating process isn’t able to be finished .

Please set the harness side connector (PLUG) vertical to the PCB side connector (RECE), and press the center of the cable side
connector from above. At that time, you can feel the click feeling.
Then, press both connector ends to confirm it is not one-side mating.

If the plug is inserted into RECE just by one side, the other side may rotate when mating with RECE. (Fig 5,6)
It will damage the connectors and we hope to avoid mating like that.

(Un-mating process)
Please use the tape which is installed in the shell to un-mate from RECE vertically. (Fig. 7)
If you find the pulling tape is not vertical over top shell as Photo.7 showed, there is no any problem
to catch the pulling tape and pull it vertically.
