MOUNTING INSTRUCTION
Fitting suitable for post top or bracket installation.
For the fitting assembly, the pole attachment should be placed accordingly to bracket or
post-top installation (see Pic. 2 - 3). The pole attachment is suitable to hold poles or
bracket featured by a 60mm to 76mm diameter; this installation system allows the
brackets to be parallel to the ground or to have a different inclination of 5 °, 10 °, 15 °
(in these cases it is possible to replace the bracket on a parallel plane respect to the
street level).Fasten the pole fixing with the 2 screws M8 x 35 mm with washers and
grower washers (A - Pic 3). Tighten the screws with a set screw wrench of 6mm
applying a twisting moment of 10Nm.
To connect the fitting to the electrical line connect the mains cable to the input
waterproof terminal board (Pag. 2 –Pag. 3).
Class I luminaire : In class I use a 3 poles cable (Line + Neutral + Earth).Connect the
green-yellow wire to the terminal.
Class II luminaire : In class II use a 2 poles cable (Line + Neutral).
To connect the terminal board, see Pag. 2 and Pag. 3.
To fix the pole attachment to the pole or to the bracket use two 8 x 45 mm grub screws
(D - Pic 3). Tighten the grub screws with a set screw wrench of 4mm applying a twisting
moment of 8Nm. To avoid any possible unscrewing of grub screws, two nuts in 8mm
stainless steel (E - Pic 3) have to be tightened on the grub screws with a twisting
moment of 8Nm, by using an adjustable wrench of 13mm.
To gain access to the electrical line, is enough unscrew the 2 screws (F –Pic. 7), using
a screwdriver.
When it is necessary, you can extract the gear tray.
To extract, disconnect the mains connector (G –Pic. 8) and the LED connector (H –
Pic. 8), then loosen the 2 fixing screws (I –Pic. 4-6) using a screwdriver.
Once finished the operations, reinsert the gear tray in right position, and fix it tightening
the 2 screws (I) and then connect first the LED connector (H) and then the mains
connector (G).
To close the luminaire, turn the plastic door and tighten the 2 screws (F), using a
screwdriver and applying a twisting moment of 3Nm.
