VALLHORN motion sensor works with smart lights and plugs
from IKEA. It can be used with DIRIGERA hub to control smart
products via the IKEA Home smart app.
IKEA Home smart app
For Apple devices, download the app using the App
Store. For Android devices, download the app using
Google Play store.
Note: If you have a TRÅDFRI gateway please use IKEA Home
smart 1 app. For the best experience, please upgrade to
DIRIGERA hub.
Getting started with DIRIGERA hub
Download the IKEA Home smart app and follow the instructions
on screen. With DIRIGERA, you can connect as many products
as you want to one motion sensor.
Getting started without DIRIGERA hub
1. Make sure the smart product you want to connect is installed
and powered on.
2. Hold the motion sensor close to the smart product (less than
5 cm away).
3. Press and hold the Pairing button for at least 10 seconds.
A red LED will steadily shine under the lens of the motion
sensor. The smart product will pulse with a white LED once
connected.
Good to know
Without DIRIGERA, you can connect a maximum of 10 smart
products to one motion sensor. Remember to add one product
at a time. If your products are close together, disconnect
the ones you have already connected while adding the next
product.

Get to know your product
Pairing button
Choose how many minutes the connected lights and plugs
will be on.
Choose between light and dark mode. In light mode, the
detected motion will turn on lights in any surrounding. In
the dark mode, the detected motion will turn on the lights
only in the dark surrounding.
Changing the batteries
A red LED light will light up under the lens of the motion sensor
to show that new batteries are needed. Open the battery lid
and replace with two new AAA/HR03 batteries. We recommend
using LADDA rechargeable batteries. Please note they are sold
separately.

Factory reset
To reset and remove all connected products, quick-press the
Pairing button 4 times (within 5 seconds). Follow steps 1-3 to
reconnect your smart products.
Care instructions
To clean the product, wipe it with a soft dry cloth. Do not use
abrasive cleaning agents, chemical solvents or other equipment
that may damage the products.
IMPORTANT!
• Operating temperature: -5ºC to 40 ºC.
• Do not leave the sensor in direct sunlight or close to any heat
source to prevent overheating.
• Dierent building materials and placement of the units can
aect the wireless connectivity range.
WARNING!
Risk of explosion if either battery is replaced by an incorrect
type. Do not mix batteries of dierent capacities, types or date
stamps. Dispose of used batteries according to instructions.

This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio

The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the item
should be disposed of separately from household waste. The

any potential negative impact on human health and the

Le détecteur de mouvement VALLHORN fonctionne avec les
prises et les éclairages connectés IKEA. Vous pouvez l’utiliser
avec le concentrateur DIRIGERA pour contrôler des produits
connectés via l’application mobile IKEA Home smart.
L’application Home smart IKEA
Pour les appareils Apple, téléchargez l’application depuis
App Store. Pour les appareils Android, téléchargez
l’application depuis Google Play.
Remarque: Si vous avez une passerelle TRÅDFRI, veuillez
utiliser l’application IKEA Home smart 1. Pour une expérience
optimale, veuillez mettre votre installation à niveau avec le hub
DIRIGERA.
Procéder avec la passerelle DIRIGERA
Téléchargez l’application IKEA Home smart et suivez les
instructions qui s’achent à l’écran. Avec DIRIGERA, vous
pouvez connecter autant de produits que vous le souhaitez à
un même détecteur de mouvement.
Procéder sans la passerelle DIRIGERA
1. Vériez que le produit que vous souhaitez connecter est
installé et mis sous tension.
2. Placez le détecteur de mouvement à proximité du produit
connecté (à une distance inférieure à 5 cm).
3. Appuyez sur le bouton d'appairage et maintenez-le
appuyé au moins 10 secondes. Une LED rouge s’allume en
continu sous la lentille du capteur de mouvement. Lorsque le
produit est connecté, une LED blanche clignote.

Bon à savoir
Sans la passerelle DIRIGERA, vous pouvez appairer un
maximum de 10 produits connectés au détecteur de
mouvement. N’ajoutez qu’un produit à la fois. Si les produits
sont rapprochés, déconnectez ceux que vous avez déjà
connectés avant d’ajouter le suivant.
Présentation du produit
Bouton d’appairage
Choisissez la durée pendant laquelle les prises et les
éclairages resteront allumés.
Choisissez entre le mode Jour ou Nuit. En mode Jour, le
mouvement détecté déclenchera l’allumage de l’éclairage
dans n’importe quel environnement. En mode Nuit, le
mouvement détecté ne déclenchera l’allumage de l’éclairage
que dans un environnement sombre.

Remplacement des piles
Un témoin LED rouge s’allume sous la lentille du détecteur
de mouvement pour indiquer que les piles doivent être
remplacées. Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment à piles et
remplacez les piles par deux piles AAA/HR 03 neuves. Nous
vous recommandons d’utiliser les piles rechargeables LADDA.
Les piles sont vendues séparément.
Réinitialisation d’usine
Pour réinitialiser et retirer tous les produits connectés, appuyez
rapidement sur le bouton d’appairage 4 fois de suite (dans un
délai de 5 secondes). Suivez les étapes 1 à 3 pour appairer à
nouveau vos produits connectés.
Instructions d’entretien
Pour nettoyer le produit, essuyez-le avec un chion sec et doux.
N’utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage abrasifs, de solvants
chimiques ou d’accessoires susceptibles d’endommager les
produits.
IMPORTANT!
• Température de fonctionnement : -5 °C à 40 °C.
• Pour éviter tout risque de surchaue, n’exposez pas le
détecteur à la lumière directe du soleil ou à proximité d’une
source de chauage.
• Certains matériaux de construction ainsi que l’endroit où
les appareils sont installés peuvent aecter la plage de
connectivité sans l.
ATTENTION!
Risque d'explosion si l’une des piles est remplacée par une
pile de type incorrect. Ne mélangez pas des piles de diérents
types, capacités ou dates d’utilisation. Mettez les piles usagées
au rebut conformément aux instructions.
