Safety Information:
(a) Check local laws regarding use of a cell phone and headset
while driving. If you use the headset while driving, always
keep your attention and focus of driving safe at all times.
(b) Never allow children to play with the headset. Small parts
may be a choking hazard.
(c) Observe all signs that require an electrical device or RF radio
product to be switched off in the designated areas. These
could include hospitals, blasting areas, and potentially
explosive atmospheres.
(d) Turn off your headset prior to boarding an aircraft. Do not
use your headset in an aircraft.
(e) Never mount or store your headset over any air bag
deployment area serious injury may result when an air bag
deploys.
(f) Do not open or tamper with the lithium built-in battery.

Getting Started
Before using your Bluetooth Headset, please follow these simple
steps:
- Fully charge your headset battery power (Approx. 2
hours).
- Cell phones to be paired must have Bluetooth compatible
cell phone.
- Each manufacturer of mobile phones have different
procedures for setting up Bluetooth devices – please
consult your cell phone’s manual prior to setting up the
device on your specific phone.
- Your cell phone should be within 30 feet of your headset in
order to work correctly with this device.
Charging Your Headset
Connect the includedAC adaptor to the wall outlet and plug the
charger adaptor to the headset’s charger port.

(a) When battery power is low the LED light will flash red and the
headset will emit a beep sound once every 2 minutes. You
should recharge the battery power as soon as possible. Only
use the manufacturer supplied charger when charging the
headset.
(b) Do not use the power charger outdoor or in damp areas.
(c) Avoid charging the headset in extremely high or low
temperatures.
Talk & Standby Time
When fully charged, the battery lasts up to 6 hours while in talk
time mode and up to 120 hours in standby time mode. Talk time
and Standby time modes will vary due to different cell phone
power consumption rates.
Turning On/Off the Headset
Turning On:
(a) Press and hold the MFB (power) button for about 5 seconds
until the LED flash blue 3 times.

(b) The headset is now in standby mode. The LED will start
flashing blue every 3 seconds.
Turning Off:
While the headset in standby mode:
(a) Press and hold the MFB (power) button for a few seconds, and
the LED will begin to flash red for several seconds.
(b) The headset is now power off.
Pairing
Prior to using the Headset for the first time, you must pair it with a
Bluetooth-enabled cell phone. The following steps describe
pairing instruction for a typical Bluetooth-enabled cell phone.
(a) Place the Headset and cell phone no more than 4 feet apart.
(b) Ensure the Headset is power off.
(c) Press and hold the MFB button for about 8 seconds until the
Headset LED alternately flashes red and blue. It’s now ready
for pairing.

(d) Activate your cell phone’s Bluetooth function by referring to
your cell phone User’s Manual for details. Mean while, the
handset will search for accessible Bluetooth devices.
(e) Select “BTH-02” from the list.
(f) Enter the pre-programmed passkey “0000” and press “OK” to
pair the headset and the handset. When pairing is
completed, the headset LED will flash blue every 3 seconds
and will be in standby mode.
(g) Press “Return” to go back to your handset’s main menu. For
certain cell phone models, a headset icon will be shown on the
screen. You should now be able to make and receive calls
using your headset.
Note: If the pairing cannot be completed within 2 minutes while
the pairing mode is activated, the headset LED flashes blue every
3 seconds and is in standby mode. Please repeat step (b) to (g)
to pair the headset and cell phone again.

Connection/Link between headset and cell phone:
After pairing is completed, headset is now in standby mode.
Before you place or answer a call, see if the headset ICON is
shown on the phone’s screen. Follow these easy steps to activate
the blue tooth connection/link until the headset ICON is on the
screen.
(1) On Handset: Select “BTH-02” from the paired list on your
handset screen.
(2) On Headset: Short press MFB and select “Accept” on handset
screen to accept connection.
Note: Whenever Bluetooth connection/link is removed, for
example: power off on headset/phones or out of 10 meter sensing
distance, please activate connection/link as suggested above.
Disconnection between Headset and cell phone:
Please follow the simple steps to disconnect the headset with the
pre-paired handset.

(a) Power off the Bluetooth headset
(b) Select “disconnecting” to remove connection from your
handset list.
Using the Headset
Once pairing is completed, you may access the following
functions:
(*Note: Some of the functions mentioned below are only
accessible by handsets supported with Hands-Free Profiles.)
(a) Answering a Call:
Wait for the Bluetooth headset to ring, then short press the
MFB(power) button for about one second to accept the call.
(b) Ending a Call:
Short press the MFB(power) button for about one second to
end your call (or end the call via your cell phone as you
normally do without the headset).
(c) Interchanging:

You may interchange conversation in between headset and
cell phone when communication is in progress.
(1) Headset to cell phone: Press and hold “Volume Down”
button for about 3 seconds. The headset will emit a short beep
and conversation will be transferred to cell phone.
(2) Cell phone to Headset: Press and hold “Volume Down” for
about 3 seconds. The headset will emit a short beep and the
conversation will be transferred to Bluetooth headset. (Note:
For most of the Nokia handsets, short press to MFB and
communication will be transferred to headset. For those
phones that don’t support this function, you need to operate
cell phone by selecting “switch” to transfer conversation to
headset.)
(d) Voice Dialing:
If your cell phone is voice dialing enabled, under standby
mode, press the MFB (power) button and when you hear a
beep, say the voice tag.
