4. AdjustBinThermostat.(SeePg.4)
ICESeriesThermostatTubeBracket:
1. MountBinThermostatTubetotheThermostattubebracketusingthefastenersprovided.InstalltheZipTie
Fastenerstosecurethetubeinthepositionshownbelow.Note:thethermostatshouldshutthemachine
offwhentheicelevel,atthecenterofthedispenser,isapproximately2”fromthebottomoftheice
machine.Thepositionofthetubemayneedtoberaisedorlowereddependingonthedispenser.
2. InstallThermostatTubeBracketonleftsidedispenserwallforICEseriesmachines,asshown.

FollowDispensermanufacturer’sinstructionsforinstallationofadapters,deflectorsorotherrequiredparts.
1. Afteruncratingandinspection,theicemachineisreadyforinstallation.Itisimportantthatthemachinebe
installedinalocationwhereithasenoughspaceforproperaircirculationandaccessibilityforservice,seeice
machineinstallationmanual.
2. Removethefront,topandbothsidepanelsforeaseof
installation.Theicemakerisheavysotheuseofamechanical
liftisrecommendedforliftingtheicemakerhighenoughto
installontopofthedispenser.
3. Securemachinetodispenserpermanufacturerinstructions.
ICESeriesBinThermostatInstallation
1. RemovethecontrolboxcoverandinstallBinThermostatin
controlboxusingexistingmountingholes.
2. Routethebinthermostatcapillarytubethrugrommetin
bottomofcontrolboxandpositionsoitdoesnotinterfere
withanyelectricalormovingcomponents.
3. Threadcapillarytubethruplastictubinguntiltheendof
plastictubingisapproximately24”fromendofcapillarytube.
4. ThreadcapillarytubeintothermalwellonThermostatTube
Bracket.Makesurecapillarytubeextendsthruentirelength
ofthermalwell.Positionplastictubingsothatbottomendof
plastictubingisagainsttopendofthermalwell.
5. Siliconetopendofthermalwell.
ICESeriesBinThermostatWiring
1. Disconnectredwirefrombinfillswitchandcutoffterminalend.Thiswirewillbeconnectedtobin
thermostat
2. Pullwirebackthroughwiretiesandintocontrolbox.
3. CutwiretoappropriateLengthandcrimpsupplied¼”Q.C.toendofwireandconnecttoBinThermostat.
4. Usetheredwirefromthekitandconnectthe¼”Q.C.totheBinThermostatandconnecttheotherendto
theBillFillSwitch.

CIMSeriesThermostatTubeBracket:
1. Installtheicedeflectorassemblytotheice
machine.Makesurethattheendofthedeflector
withthethermalwellisdownintothebin.Secure
withthe#10screwsprovidedinthebase.
2. Removetheplugfromtherightsideofthefood
zonefortheinstallationofthebinthermostatin
latersteps.Note:Theslotsintheicedeflector
aredesignedsothatthescrewsinthebaseonly
needtobeloosened,ratherthancompletely
removed.
CIMSeriesBinThermostatInstallation
1. Removecontrolboxcover&installthebinlevel
thermostatinholesprovidedonthecontrolboxor
frame.
2. Attachprovidedbinthermostatharnesstothe
thermostat,andthenrouteotherendintothe
controlbox.Plugintothecontrolboardconnector
labeledbinthermostat.
3. Routethermostatcapillarytubesoitdoesnot
interferewithanyelectricalormoving
components.Thereisaremovableplasticcapin
therightwallofthefood‐zonetorunthecaptube

6. FlipseconddipswitchonControlBoard(topleftcorner)toonposition
(seeimage).
7. AdjusttheBinThermostat(seeBinThermostatAdjustmentsection).
BinThermostatAdjustment:
1. Holdiceagainstthethermalwellofthebinbracket,makingsuretheiceisincontactwiththeentirelengthof
thethermalwell.Thebincontrolshouldopeninapproximately1minute.Removetheice.Thebincontrol
shouldcloseinapproximately3minutes.Ifamajoradjustmentisrequired,turntheadjustmentscrew
counterclockwise(colder)untilitstopsthenturntheadjustmentscrewclockwise(warmer)1/8ofaturn.This
shouldputthecontrolclosetotheproperadjustment,recheckandmakeaminoradjustmentifneeded.Ifa
minoradjustmentisrequired,turntheadjustmentscrewclockwise(warmer)orcounterclockwise(colder).
2. Returnthecontrolboxcovertotheicemachine.
3. ReferencetheInstallationManual(Suppliedwiththeicemachine)forstart‐upinstructions.Installallpanels
whencomplete.
