Preface
The following detailed operating instructions contain general notes on set-up, operation and
maintenance of the Husmann machines. Before commissioning of the portable compactor,
read and consider these operating instructions.
The basic prerequisite for safe operation of the machine is knowing the safety notes and the
safety provisions.
Continuous further development may lead to deviations of the contents of these operating
instructions. The contents of these operating instructions mostly refer to a standard design.
Specific machine parts may have smaller deviations for constructional reasons (e.g. customer
requirements).
There is no automatic change management for this operating manual. The contents and scope
of this manual correspond to the delivery or acceptance condition.
These detailed operating instructions belong in the hands of the operating staff and there-
fore must be kept with care.

3.3.1 Rating plate
All machines leaving the factory are marked with a nameplate as shown in the following fi-
gure. The nameplate gives you an overview of the most important data of the machine and
contains the serial number that determines the machine.

3.3.2 Sound pressure level
The measured values listed in the following table have been determinded in accordance with
DIN EN ISO 3744. The measurements were carried out at idle (without material).
The on-site noise emission levels may be affected by conditions of use, e.g. enclosed
space, the degree of filling of the container, the material to be compacted or other sys-
tems in the immediate vicinity and can therefore vary from the value in these operating
instructions.
WARNING!
The details of the noise emission values in the table below are to be observed .
If necessary, the operator must take appropriate protective measures (ear pro-
tection).
