Product Usage Principles and Suggestions
When using multimedia video conference server products, strictly comply with related laws and
regulations during the usage and maintenance of the recording and live broadcast services to
ensure that personal information is fully protected. Do not record or live broadcast video or open
video content externally or for the public if not allowed by local laws. Do not use the device to
record video for illegal purposes.
lWhen you use the recording or live broadcast service of the product, the system plays a
clear voice announcement such as "recording started" to each participant for them to know
that the conference is a recording conference.
lYou are advised to check the audio device and increase the volume before a conference
starts to ensure that announcements can be heard clearly so that the participants know that
the conference is a recording conference.
lTo avoid situation in which participants cannot hear the voice announcements due to other
technical reasons, it is recommended that other methods be used to notify the participants.
For example, inform participants in the conference notification that the conference to join
is a recording conference or post recording signs in the conference room.
lBefore performing maintenance operations, engineers must obtain written authorization
from the customer. Do not perform any maintenance operations that are not approved by
the customer.
