Do not use inferior refrigerant. Otherwise, Huawei has no responsibility for the damage caused by
the inferior refrigerant.
Follow these suggestions to choose a high-quality refrigerant:
1. Dial the hotline of the refrigerant producer to confirm its reliability.
2. Put the refrigerant indoor for 24 hours. Then use a thermometer to measure the external
surface temperature of the refrigerant cylinder (Figure 1), and connect a pressure gauge to the
cylinder to measure its internal pressure (Figure 2). Look up the following table for the
saturation pressure that corresponds to the external surface temperature, and calculate the
deviation from the internal pressure. If the deviation is more than 0.2 MPa, the refrigerant is not
in good condition. Replace it.

(Optional) Concrete Platform Scenario
3.1
1. According to the site space and device
dimensions to decide the location of concrete
platforms. And mark the four reference points of
concrete platforms using an ink fountain and
measuring tape.
When marking the mounting positions for concrete platforms, ensure that the four lines form a rectangle.

3Securing the NetCol8000-E
1. Read the related user manual before installing the device.
2. Ensure that the concrete platform levelness meets the requirements before installation.
3. The device must be installed strictly according to the heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC)
equipment construction regulations.
1. When the equipment is installed indoors, it is recommended that shock pads be installed
between the air duct and the floor.
2. When the equipment is installed outdoors, it is recommended that the air duct be secured on the
concrete platform (as shown in the following figure) to prevent rain from soaking the air duct.
Unit: mm

2. Connect the steel hoisting ropes, and hoist the device onto the concrete platforms.
4. Secure the equipment to the concrete platform using four right angle brackets.
Indoor scenario
3. Use M12 screws to secure the air duct to the floor or concrete platform.
Outdoor scenario
5

(Optional) Steel Base Scenario
3.2
(1) M20 T
-shaped bolt
(2) 15 mm steel plate
(3) Rectangular tube (100 mm x 100 mm x 6
mm)
(4) Reinforced angle plate (right angle edge: 80
mm x 50 mm, 15 mm thick)
(5) Expansion bolt (M16 x 150 mm)
(6) 14B# channel steel
6
1. Prepare a steel base.
Steel base
1. When the equipment is installed indoors, it is recommended that shock pads be installed
between the air duct and the floor.
2. When the equipment is installed outdoors, it is recommended that the air duct be secured on the
concrete platform (as shown in the page 4) to prevent rain from soaking the air duct.
Unit: mm

7
4. Turn the four M20 twistlocks in the base by 90 degrees to lock the equipment, and tighten the
twistlocks using a torque wrench.
2. Connect the steel hoisting ropes, and hoist the device onto the concrete platforms.
3. Use M12 screws to secure the air duct to the floor or concrete platform.

Installing a ground lug
Installing a ground cable
1. Remove the packaging.
4Installing Air Ducts
(Optional) Installing a Supply Air Duct
4.1
Grounding the NetCol8000-E
3.3
•Ground lugs mode: Before the installation, remove the tinfoil from the ground lugs.
•Ground cables mode: Ground cables can be routed through plastic-coated metal hoses for
protection based on site requirements.
NOTE

9
4. Push the stitched air channel into the bottom of the device. Remove the canvas sheet metal
from the end of the air duct using diagonal pliers.
2. Remove the thread plates. 3. Remove the eight screws that fasten the air
vent baffle, and remove the air vent baffle.
5. Put thermal insulation foam between the equipment and the air channel connection surface, and
fix the equipment and air channel by twenty-four M6 fixing screws.
Ensure that there is no air leakage on the contact between the equipment and the air duct.
Otherwise, condensate water may occur.

4.2
(1) Flexible connection (canvas or other materials; prepared onsite)
(2) Hard connection (foaming plate; prepared onsite)
5Connecting Water Pipes
1. Connect the water pipes using thread connectors. The thread joints need to be sealed with raw
materials or thread adhesive.
2. Clean the external water pipes before connecting them to the water inlet and outlet pipes of the
coil pipes of the NetCol8000.
3. Connect the water inlet and outlet pipes of the NetCol8000 using thread connectors. When
connecting the water pipe, do not exert excessive force to prevent damage to the coil pipe.(When
connecting the pipes provided with the NetCol8000, use two pipe wrenches or chain pliers.)
4. Heat preservation measures must be taken at low temperatures to prevent water from freezing in
the water pipe.
5. The drainpipe must be wrapped with thermal insulation foam (including the buried parts).
