PRECAUCIONES
•Leer cuidadosamente las instrucciones antes de utilizar el
aparato y guardarlas para futuras consultaciones.
•Luego de haber abierto el empaque controlar que el aparato no
sea dañado, en caso de duda llamar a un electricista. Las partes
del embalaje (cajas de plástico, poliestireno, grapas, etc.) tienen
que ser mantenidas fuera del alcance de los niños puesto que son
peligrosas; eliminarlas según las normativas vigentes.
•Antes de conectar el aparato a la alimentación eléctrica controlar
que la tensión de red corresponda al valor indicado sobre el
aparato. En caso de diversidad reemplazar el enchufe acudiendo a
un electricista, controlar también que el cable sea apto para el
consumo del aparato. No utilizar adaptadores o prolongaciones, en
caso de necesidad, dichos objetos tienen que ser conformes a
estas prescripciones de seguridad y su capacidad (amperaje) no
tiene que ser menor del valor máximo del aparato.
•Este aparato está destinado solamente a un uso doméstico
según lo que indican estas instrucciones.
•Durante el uso el aparato se recalienta mucho: actuar solamente
utilizando la manija de plástico y los conmutadores. No tocar la
parte radiante.
•No cubrir el aparato cuando el mismo está caliente para evitar el
riesgo de incendios.
•No permitir que niños y personas incompetentes utilicen el
aparato sin asistencia.

• No tocar el aparato con las manos o los pies mojados.
•No exponer el aparato a la lluvia, al sol, etc.
•No desplazar el aparato y no sacar el enchufe hallando el cable
de alimentación.
•Luego del encendido y el apagado del aparato es posible que el
mismo emita un ruido (disparo) imputable al calentamiento o al
enfriamiento. Se trata de una acción normal que no indica un malo
funcionamiento.
INSTALACIÓN
•Antes del uso controlar que el aparato y el cable no sean dañados. En caso de duda
acudir a un electricista.
•Colocar el aparato lejos de fuentes de calor, materiales inflamables (cortinas, trajes, etc.),
gases inflamables o materiales explosivos y materiales termo-sensibles y deformables con
altas temperaturas. Dejar un metro aproximadamente de espacio libre en frente del
aparato y aprox. 0,5 m. por los lados. No utilizar el aparato cerca de bañeras, lavamanos
o duchas para evitar el peligro de descargas eléctricas. Evitar posiciones en las cuales
pueda ser empujado o dañado.
•Colocar el aparato sobre una superficie horizontal y plana, no utilizar planos inclinados
(el aparato podría volcarse). Asegurarse de que el sistema de seguridad toque el piso. De
lo contrario el aparato no funciona.
•Controlar que el cable sea posicionado de la forma correcta y que no toque las
superficies calientes del aparato. No enrollar el cable alrededor del aparato y no doblarlo.
•Para evitar el riesgo de incendio no utilizar el aparato con un temporizador o con un
programador o con un sistema automático de encendido/apagado.
En todo caso cualquier reparación tiene que ser encargada a un electricista experto.

USO
•Conectar el aparato y presionar un conmutador en posición “1” para calefacción de baja
potencia a 400W y presionar el otro conmutador en posición “2” para calefacción de alta
potencia a 800W.
•Para apagar el aparato, presionar los 2 conmutadores en la posición “0” y desconectar el
enchufe.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
•Apagar el aparato y esperar que se enfríe por completo antes de proceder con la
limpieza.
•Amparar la parábola del polvo para guardar sus características reflejantes.
• Utilizar un paño húmedo para limpiar el cuerpo del aparato y evitar productos abrasivos.
•La parrilla de protección y la red son muy delicadas, utilizar solamente una aspiradora
para su limpieza, poniendo atención para que no se dañen.
•Cuando el aparato no es utilizado, cubrirlo y colocarlo en un sitio seco. Se aconseja de
utilizar el embalaje originario para proteger el aparato del polvo y de la humedad.
•Para el reemplazo del cable hace falta un útil especial: acudir a un electricista.

PRECAUTIONS
•Read the instructions carefully before using the appliance and
keep them for future reference.
•After opening the packaging, check that the appliance has not
been damaged; if in doubt, call an electrician. The parts of the
packaging (plastic boxes, polystyrene, staples, etc.) must be kept
out of the reach of children as they are dangerous; dispose of them
according to the regulations in force.
•Before connecting the device to the power supply, check that the
mains voltage corresponds to the value indicated on the device. In
case of diversity, replace the plug by an electrician, check also that
the cable is suitable for the consumption of the appliance. Do not
use adapters or extensions, if necessary, these objects must
comply with these safety regulations and their capacity (amperage)
must not be less than the maximum value of the appliance.
•This appliance is intended for household use only in accordance
with these instructions.
•During use, the appliance becomes very hot: only operate it using
the plastic handle and the switches. Do not touch the heating
element.
•Do not cover the appliance when it is hot in order to avoid the risk
of fire.
•Do not allow children or unqualified persons to use the appliance
without assistance.

•Do not touch the appliance with wet hands or feet.
•Do not expose the appliance to rain, sunshine, etc.
•Do not move the appliance and do not pull out the plug when the
power cable is found.
•After switching the appliance on and off, the appliance may emit a
noise (tripping) due to heating or cooling. This is a normal action
and does not indicate a malfunction.
INSTALLATION
•Before use, check that the appliance and the cable are not damaged. In case of doubt,
contact an electrician.
•Place the device away from heat sources, flammable materials (curtains, clothes, etc.),
flammable gases or explosive materials and heat-sensitive and deformable materials at
high temperatures. Leave about one metre of free space in front of the appliance and
about 0.5 m on the sides. Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, washbasins or showers
to avoid the danger of electric shock. Avoid positions where it can be pushed or damaged.
•Place the appliance on a horizontal and flat surface, do not use inclined surfaces (the
appliance could tip over). Make sure that the safety system touches the floor. Otherwise
the appliance will not work.
•Make sure that the cable is positioned correctly and that it does not touch the hot
surfaces of the appliance. Do not wind the cable around the appliance and do not bend it.
•To avoid the risk of fire, do not use the appliance with a timer or programmer or with an
automatic on/off system.
In any case, any repairs must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
USE
•Switch on the appliance and press one switch to position "1" for low power heating at
400W and press the other switch to position "2" for high power heating at 800W.
•To switch off the appliance, press the 2 switches to position "0" and disconnect the plug.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•Switch off the appliance and wait for it to cool down completely before cleaning.
•Protect the parabola from dust to preserve its reflective characteristics.
•Use a damp cloth to clean the body of the appliance and avoid abrasive products.
•The protective grille and the net are very delicate, use only a hoover to clean them,
taking care not to damage them.
•When the appliance is not in use, cover it and place it in a dry place. It is advisable to use
the original packaging to protect the appliance from dust and humidity.
•To replace the cable, a special tool is required: contact an electrician.
