contains small pieces that could present a chokin

• Your Sea Scout submarine is controlled by radio si nals,
which are susceptible to possible interference from other
R/C transmitters, pa in systems, or other electrical noise.
Before operation, make sure no one else in the area is
operatin a radio on the same frequency (channel).
• Do not attempt to char e the submarine with anythin
other than the supplied char er.
• Do not submer e the submarine while char in .
• Do not touch the spinnin propellers! It is unlikely that
they will cause injury, but the props themselves may be
badly dama ed.
• If runnin in a pool, NEVER attempt to swim after a
stalled submarine! Wait patiently for the submarine to
return to the surface and retrieve usin a pool net or a
lon pole.
• Never o directly from runnin the submarine in a pool
to runnin in an aquarium. Rinse thorou hly with fresh
water. Avoid usin any cleansin a ents which may be
harmful to an aquarium environment.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The trans itter is not water resistant
and should be kept dry at all times.
BATTERY INSTALLATION TIPS
•Do not mix old and new batteries.
•Use only alkaline batteries. Do not use rechar eable (Nickel
Cadmium, Nickel Metal Hydride, or Lithium Ion) batteries.
❏1. Insert the antenna into the hole on top of the transmitter
and twist it in a clockwise direction until ti ht. Do not
overti hten the antenna.
❏2. Usin a small Phillips head screwdriver, loosen the
battery cover screw and carefully remove the cover from the
back of the transmitter.
❏3. Install a fresh 9V battery. Make sure that the (+) positive
and (–) ne ative tabs match up correctly with the dia ram
molded inside the battery compartment of the transmitter.
❏4. Replace the transmitter battery cover and ti hten the
screw until snu (do not over-ti hten).
❏5. Turn the transmitter power “ON”. A reen li ht will indicate
that power is turned “ON”. When the reen li ht oes “OFF, ” it
is time to chan e the 9V battery in your transmitter. The red li ht
indicates that a stick “command” is bein transmitted.
