SAFE - FACE PROTECTION
Hereby, Hellberg Safety AB, declares that the face
protection SAFE is in compliance with the PPE
regulation 2016/425 and other appropriate directives
text of the EU declaration of conformity is available
at following internet address: www.hellbergsafety.
com/doc.
Hellbergs SAFE face protection system is intended
to protect the wearers face and eyes from impacts,
accordance with these user instructions. The level
of protection provided is indicated by a marking on
the visor and carrier. Make sure you understand the
marking applied to your product and always conduct a
risk assessment prior to selection.
It is important that the user instructions are followed.
Failure to do so may lead to serious injury.

VISOR STANDARDS
Mesh visors are approved to EN 1731:2006, the
European standard for mesh type eye and face
protection. Solid visors are approved to EN 166:2001,
the European standard for eye and face protection,
and applicable parts of EN 170, EN 171, EN 172.

MAINTENANCE
The visor must be washed and cleaned after every
use. Care must be taken to ensure that the visor is not
scratched. It is best to use a mild solution of soap and
water. Wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid hard cloths since
they may scratch the visor. Regular maintenance
and cleaning of the visor guarantees a high level of
wearing comfort. Ensure that the visor is regularly
inspected for serviceability.
STORAGE
The visor must be stored in a dry and clean
environment out of direct sun light, e.g. in its original
packaging.
DURABILITY
