Important Safety Instrucons

When using any electric appliance, some basic safety precauons should always be followed to

reduce the risk of re, electric shock and/or injury to people, including the following:

• Read all instrucons carefully before use of the unit.

• Keep all ammable materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothing, and

curtains at least 3 feet from the front and top of the appliance. Also be sure to avoid contact

with the sides and back of the unit.

• DO NOT operate the unit with the damaged cord, aer faulty operaon or when it has been

dropped or damaged in any way.

• To completely turn o the unit, push the Power buon and then unplug the air purier. Pull

rmly on the plug, DO NOT unplug by pulling on the cord.

• Always disconnect the plug from the power outlet when the unit is not in use.

• DO NOT wrap the cord around the unit immediately aer use.

• DO NOT use this unit outdoors.

• Never posion the unit where it may come in contact with water.

• DO NOT run the power cord under carpeng. DO NOT cover cord with throw rugs, runners or

similar coverings. Keep the cord away from any place where it could be tripped over.

• DO NOT insert foreign objects to get into the air intake or air outlet, as this may cause

electrical shock, re or damage to the unit.

• To prevent a possible re do not block air intake or air outlet in any way. DO NOT use the unit on

so surfaces, such as a bed, where the openings may become blocked. Always use on a dry level

surface. Only use this air purier on the oor.

• DO NOT cover the appliance while it is funconing in order to avoid overheang and the risk of

re.

• Use this air purier only as described in this manual. Any other use not indicated by the

manufacturer may cause re, electrical shock or injury to people.

• To prevent current overload and blown fuse, do not use on an overloaded electrical circuit.

• An excessively hot or deformed plug or cord is not normal and may be the result of a defecve

electrical outlet�

• Defecve outlets must be replaced before using the air purier. Plugging the air purier into a

worn outlet may result in overheang of the power cord or may cause risk of re.

• DO NOT aempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical malfuncon on this unit.

• DO NOT use this appliance with an extension cord or outlet strip. Connect the appliance

directly to a properly grounded outlet.

• Make sure that the plug is fully inserted into the outlet. Wall outlets may deteriorate in me so

check the plug periodically for signs of overheang.

• Check that neither the appliance nor the power cords have been damaged during shipping.

Using the Air Purier

Plug the cord into a 120V AC/60Hz electrical outlet. Only operate the air purier in an upright posion.

Special Features

• Washable Pre-Filter: Filters large parcles such as hair, smoke, and pollen.

• True HEPA Filter: The True HEPA Filter captures 99.97% of parcles and impuries. It can capture

parcles as small as 0.3 microns; including smoke, dust, pollen, mold spores and pet dander.

Easy light indicator to let you know when it is me to change it.

• Acvated Carbon Filter: Carbon sheet collects large parcles such as dust, pollen, pet hair, lint as

well as odors caused by cigaree smoke and cooking.

• Sensors: This Air Purier is equipped with a digital sensor that automacally monitors air quality

for smoke and odor. Fan speeds will adjust accordingly.

• Simple Operaon: This Air Purier comes with a remote control and user friendly display for

your convenience

• Automac Shut-O: Once the inlet panel has been removed there is an automac shut-o

feature for safety�

• Handle: Easy access handle to make carrying a breeze.

Smoke Removal Mode

Filters smoke caused by cigaree smoke,

organic decay and cooking. Turn on/

o the mode by pressing the Smoke

Removal icon on the control panel or

remote control�

- Blue: Working

- Light O: Not working

Odor Removal Mode

Targets common household odors such

as those from cooking and pets. Turn

on/o the mode by pressing the Odor

Removal icon on the control panel or

remote control�

- Green: Working & Odor status good

- Blue: Working & Odor status bad

- Red: Working & Odor status worse

- Light O: Not working

Fan Speed

Adjust the desired speed by pressing the

Fan Speed icon on the control panel or

remote control� While working, corre-

sponding fan speed number will illumi-

nate�

Air Quality

The air quality indicator light will change

color according to your air quality.

- Green: Best

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Remote Control

The Remote Control will work idencally to the Air Purier.

The baery for the remote control is a CR2025 which is

already installed�

• Power Buon: Press to turn the air purier On

and O.

• Fan Speed: Press to select desired speed.

• Timer: Press to select from mer hour sengs 2 hr.,

4 hr., 6 hr. or 8 hr. increments. The air purier will run for

the selected number of hours and then shut o.

• Night: Press to dim the panel lights and the unit will not

go above low fan speed to help keep the room dark and

quiet�

• Automac: Press to automacally sense the air quality

and adjust the fan speed accordingly.

• Smoke Removal: Press to lter smoke caused by cigaree

smoke, organic decay and cooking.

• Odor Removal: Press to lter common household odors

such as those from cooking and pets.

Timer

The mer opon allows you to select

how long the air purier will run before

it automacally shuts o. The hour

opons for the mer are 2 to 8 hours in

two-hour increments.

- Blue [2]: Working for 2 hours ll shut-o

- Blue [4]: Working for 4 hours ll shut-o

- Blue [6]: Working for 6 hours ll shut-o

- Blue [8]: Working for 8 hours ll shut-o

Night Mode

When set on Night Mode, the display

panel lights will dim and the unit will not

go above low fan speed to help keep the

room dark and quiet.

- Blue: Working

- Light O: Not Working

Automac Mode

When the unit is in Automac Mode, the

sensor will automacally adjust the fan

speed according to the smoke and odor

levels and gradually adjust as the smoke

and odor levels improve.

- Blue: Working

- Light O: Not working

Power

Turn the air purier on by pressing the

Power buon on the control panel or

remote control�

- Blue: Working

- Light O: Not working

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Filter Changing Instrucons

1� Remove the front panel by grabbing the outer, boom edges and gently pulling it towards you.

2� The lters should be in the following order, le to right: Acvated Carbon Filter, True HEPA Filter

and then the Pre-Filter.

NOTE: You will see the Pre-Filter rst when removing the front panel.

3� Replace the front panel by gently locking the outer, upper edges of the panel to the unit. Next

gently push the boom of the panel unl it snaps in place at the boom.

Maintenance

• It is recommended to clean the air purier once every 3 months and before extended storage.

• Be sure to only use a so, dry cloth to clean the external surfaces.

• DO NOT USE ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION to clean the unit.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Possible Soluon

Remote control does not work • Be sure that the baery is inserted correctly

The unit seems to produce odors • Clean/replace lters as needed

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

Limited Warranty

Haverhill warrants each new Air Purier to be free from defects in material and workmanship and

agrees to remedy any such defect or to furnish a new part(s) (at the company’s opon) for any

part(s) of the unit that has failed during the warranty period. Parts and labor expenses are covered

on this unit for a period of two years aer the date of purchase. A copy of the dated sales receipt/

invoice is required to receive warranty service, replacement or refund.

This warranty covers appliances in use within the conguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii and

Puerto Rico. The warranty does not cover the following:

• Damages due to shipping damage or improper installaon

• Damages due to misuse or abuse

• Content losses due to failure of the unit

• Repairs performed by unauthorized service agents

• Unauthorized service calls

• Replacement or reseng of house fuses or circuit breakers

• Failure of this product if used in ways other than its intended purpose

• Disposal costs for any failed unit(s) not returned to our factory

• Any delivery or installaon costs incurred as the result of a unit that fails to perform as specied

• Expenses for travel and transportaon for product service if your appliance is located in a

remote area where service by an authorized service technician is not available

• The removal and reinstallaon of your appliance if it is installed in an inaccessible locaon or is

not installed in accordance with published installaon instrucons

• Refunds for non-repairable products are limited to the price paid for the unit per the sales

receipt�

• This warranty is non-transferable. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and does

not extend to any subsequent owner(s).

Limitaons of Remedies and Exclusions

Product repair in accordance with the terms herein, is your sole and exclusive remedy under this

limited warranty. Any and all implied warranes including merchantability and tness for a parcular

purpose are hereby limited to one year or the shortest period allowed by law. Haverhill is not liable

for incidental or consequenal damages and no representave or person is authorized to assume

for us any other liability in connecon with the sale of this product. Under no circumstances is the

consumer permied to return this unit to the factory without the prior wrien consent of Haverhill.

Some states prohibit the exclusion or limitaon of incidental or consequenal damages, or

limitaons on implied warranes. This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may also have

other rights which vary from state to state.
