Einleitung
Die WLAN-Box bietet serienmäßig folgende Möglichkeiten für
eine WLAN-Bedienung:
a) als WLAN Access Point
Die WLAN-Box sendet und empfängt die WLAN Befehle direkt
vom Tablet oder Smartphone.
Diese Variante ist sinnvoll, wenn kein heimisches WLAN Netz-
werk vorhanden ist, keine Einbindung in einen Router gewollt ist
oder bei der Installation und Funktionsübergabe kein bauseitiger
Router installiert war.
b) als Client
Die WLAN-Box sendet und empfängt die WLAN Befehle von
einem Router. Der Router empfängt die Befehle von einem
Tablet oder Smartphone.
Diese Variante ist sinnvoll, wenn eine gleichzeitige Bedienung
über die WLAN-Box und Internetfunktionen, wie z.B. surfen
im Internet, gewünscht sind. Dadurch entfällt das händische
Wechseln der unterschiedlichen WLAN-Verbindungen.
In diesem Abschnitt wird die Funktion als WLAN-Client
beschrieben.
Vorbereitungen
Bauseitiger Router
Der Router muss betriebsbereit sein. Ein Internetzugang ist für
die Funktion mit der WLAN Box nicht erforderlich.
Folgende Informationen zum Router müssen bekannt sein:
a) der Name vom Router (WLAN SSID)
b) das Passwort vom Router zum Aufbau einer WLAN-
Verbindung
c) die Internetadresse, mit welcher der Router über einen
Browser erreichbar ist
d) das Passwort für den Zugriff auf die Konfigurationsebene des
Routers
WLAN-Box
Die WLAN-Box muss betriebsbereit sein. Die HAUTAU-App
„ConfigTool“ muss installiert sein. Die HAUTAU-Produkte
müssen in die WLAN-Box eingebunden sein. Dies betrifft die
Verkabelung mit der WLAN-Box und die Integration mittels des
ConfigTools per Gerätescan und ggf. neuer Adressvergabe.
Ein Internetzugang ist für die Funktion mit der WLAN Box nicht
erforderlich.
Folgende Informationen zur WLAN-Box müssen bekannt sein:
a) der Name der WLAN-Box
(Beispiel: „HAUTAU-WLAN-BOX-H0000110“)
b) das Passwort der WLAN-Box zum Aufbau einer
WLAN- Verbindung (Beispiel: „H0000110“)
Preparation
Router on site
The router has to be ready for operation. For the function with
the WLAN-Box no internet access is required.
The following information concerning the router have to be
known:
a) the name of the router (WLAN SSID)
b) the code of the router to set up a WLAN connection
c) the web address that is necessary to get in contact with the
router by means of a browser
d) the code to access the configuration level of the router
WLAN-Box
The WLAN-Box has to be ready for operation. The HAUTAU app
„ConfigTool“ has to be installed. The HAUTAU products
have to be linked to the WLAN-Box. This applies to the
wiring with the WLAN-Box and to the integration by means
of the ConfigTool by device scan and, if applicable, with new
address assignment. A web access is not required for the
function with the WLAN-Box.
The following information concerning the WLAN-Box have to be
known:
a) the name of the WLAN-Box
(example: „HAUTAU-WLAN-BOX-H0000110“)
b) the code of the WLAN-Box to set up a WLAN connection
(example: „H0000110“)
Introduction
The WLAN-Box provides the following options for a WLAN ope-
ration as a standard:
a) as WLAN Access Point
The WLAN-Box transmits and receives the WLAN commands
directly from tablet or smartphone.
This option is meaningful, if no local WLAN network is available,
no integration into a router is intended or no router was installed
during installation and functional putting into service on site.
b) as client
The WLAN-Box transmits and receives the WLAN commands
from a router. The router receives the commands from a tablet
or a smartphone.
This option is meaningful, if a simultaneous operation via the
WLAN-Box and internet tasks, such as surfing the web, is
required. Thereby the manual changing of the different WLAN
connections ist not applicable.
Within this section the function as a WLAN client will be
described.
