Safety instructions
When installing and using this electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always
be followed, including the following:
○READ THE MANUAL AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS
○In order to reduce the risk of injuries, children are not allowed to use the device without
strict supervision.
○Risks of Electrical Shock . Connect only to grounding type receptacle protected by a
ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). Contact a qualified electrician if you cannot verify
that the receptacle is protected by GFCI.
○Do not bury the cord . Locate cord to minimize damages caused by lawnmowers, hedge
trimmers, and other equipment.
○In order to prevent injuries due to the running parts, do not make the electric pump
running before the pipeline has been connected.
○To reduce the risk of electrical shock, replace damaged cords immediately.
○To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not use the extension cord to connect unit
electric supply; provide a properly located outlet.
○This pump can only be used for fix-installed bath tub, it is not suitable for swimming pool
spa.
○Do not install within an outer enclosure or beneath the skirt of a hot tub unless it has
been marked.
○This appliance is not intended to be used by young children or infirm persons unless they
are being adequately supervised by a responsible person which can ensure their safety.
○Young children are not allowed to play with the appliance.
○FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.
○KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS
General information
○These are single - stage centrifugal pumps designed to operate with compact hydro
massage equipment. They are equipped with an emptying system to prevent the
discharge of residual liquid in the stoppings.
○V/Hz esp.: See pump name plate.
○The units are designed to operate with clean water at a maximum water temperature of
50O Celsius.
○Storage temperature: -10O C ~ +50OC. Relative Air Humidity: 95% Max.
○Made from top quality materials: the pumps are subjected to strict hydraulic and
electrical controls and are carefully verified.
○Correct installation is ensured by following the instructions; Over loads may be produced
in the motor when the instructions are not being followed. We decline responsibility for
any damage caused by not following these instructions.

4
Installation
○The pump should be located in an area with good ventilation. Dimensions and position
of the pump for supporting and fixing the pump within this space can be found on Figure
2.
○Pump must be fixed by screws on the tub shelf, and fixed with silent block to lower the
noise and liberation. Sticking and enlacing is forbidden.
○The pump will be getting hot whilst operating , the minimum distance between the
motor of the pump and the surrounding structure should not be less then 20mm to
ensure the device will cool down.
○The suction pipe of the pump should be as short as possible.
○The rating label should be visible after installation.
○Parts containing electricity, except parts supplied with an extra low voltage <12V, must
be inaccessible to the person in the bath.
○Class I appliances must be permanently connected to fixed wiring. Parts including
electrical components, except remote control devices, must be located or fixed so that
they cannot touch the water.
Assembly
○The maximum inlet water pressure is smaller or equal to 0.15MPa.
○The suction pipes should have a diameter equal to or larger than the discharge pipes.
This can avoid the heat loss and improve the efficiency.
○The suction and discharge pipes should not rest on the pump.
○Seal all the connectors and unions well. Avoid any dripping on the motor. This can
unfailingly damage it.
○Use the hose module which supplements along with the bathtub, the old hose module
cannot be reused.
Electricity
○The electrical install action should have a multiple separation system with contact
openings of at least 3mm.
○For protection against possible electric shock this unit must be mounted to the base in
accordance with the installation instructions.
○The protection of the system should be based on a residual current device (RCD) with a
rated tripping current not exceeding 30mA. The supply cable should comply with EMC
standards.
○Single-phase motors have built-in thermal protection.
○The electric connection must be carried out by qualified staff following th "EN60335-2-
60" standard strictly.
○Please ensure that the earth cable connection is correctly made.
○Wires serving as equipotential bonding conductors must have a cross sectional area
between 2.5 mm2and 6 mm2and must be equipped with the terminal suitable
receptacle.

5
Controls prior to first start-up
1. Verify that the pump shaft turns freely.
2. Check whether the voltage and frequency are according to the name plate.
3. The Hydro massage assembly should be equipped with a system to prevent the pump
from starting up if a minimum water level is not present.
4. Check the rotating direction of the motor. This should correspond with the direction
indicated on the fan cover.
5. If the motor does not start up, try to locate the problem in the table of most common
faults and their possible solutions (FAQ) that is provided on page 6.
Start-up
○Start the pump only when the suction and discharge pipes are connected to the
corresponding inlets and outlets.
○Apply voltage to the motor and suitably adjust the jets to obtain the desired flow.
Maintenance
The pumps do not require any special maintenance or programming. If the pump will be
idle for a longer period of time , it is recommended to disassemble , clean and store it in a
dry , well ventilated place. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person immediately to a hazard.
