WARNING: This appliance features a ame failure and tilt
device. In the event of a wind blowing the ame out or the
unit being tipped over, the gas supply will be cut off from
the cylinder. In this event, the knobs should be set to off and
you should wait 5 minutes before re-lighting.
WARNING: Failure to read and follow these instructions
could result in serious injury or damage to property.
WARNING: This product will become hot when in use –
take care when touching.
WARNING: Keep children and pets at a safe distance
from the unit when in use.
WARNING: DO NOT move this product when in use.
WARNING: Any modication of this appliance may be
dangerous.
WARNING: DO NOT use heater where the reector is
within 40 inches (1m) of any ammable structure or surface.
WARNING: NEVER operate the heater with the top half
covered (burner head, reector, etc.).
WARNING: DO NOT leave this product unattended when
in use.
WARNING: Always keep the cylinder level and vertical
when positioning inside the base.

WARNING: When positioning, ensure the unit is a
minimum of 40 inches (1m) from ammable items or
structure from all sides and above.
WARNING: Always leak test the unit before use, annually,
or after storage, when parts are replaced/serviced or if the
gas cylinder is removed or replaced.
WARNING: When storing the appliance or gas cylinder,
ensure they are away from ammable materials or liquids.
WARNING: Regularly check that the regulator seal and
hose is tted and that it is in good condition. Replace parts
if necessary.
WARNING: Always follow the care and maintenance
instructions – regularly maintain your appliance.
WARNING: Always replace worn parts – do not use the
appliance if a leak, wear, or damage is found.
WARNING: DO NOT store or cover the appliance until fully
cooled.
WARNING: Always shut off the valve at the gas cylinder
or the regulator before moving the appliance.
WARNING: In the event of high winds particular attention
must be taken. Store the unit away or ensure it is at a safe
distance from other items in the event that the unit is blown
over.
WARNING: Only use with gazebo’s specically designed
to be used with patio heaters.
WARNING: Ensure the heater is at a safe distance from
glass and PVC doors and windows to stop damage from any
heat build up.
WARNING: Read the warnings and use instructions
before operation.
WARNING: Do not leave the heat focusing reector of
the patio heater in the tilt position during rain or windy
conditions or when the patio heater is not in use or
unattended. Always position the heat focusing reector in
the full down position when not in use or during windy or
rainy conditions.
WARNING: FUELS USED IN LIQUEFIED PROPANE GAS
APPLIANCES, AND THE PRODUCTS OF COMBUSTION OF
SUCH FUELS, CAN EXPOSE YOU TO CHEMICALS INCLUDING

2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
WHAT IS COVERED
We warrant to the original consumer purchaser that all aspects of this product will be free of defects in material and workmanship for 2
years from the date of purchase. A replacement for any defective part will be supplied free of charge for installation by the consumer. This
warranty shall be effective from the date of purchase as shown in the purchaser’s receipt.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Defects or damage caused by the use of other genuine parts are not covered by this warranty. This warranty is valid for the original
customer only and excludes product damage due to shipment or failure which results from alteration, product abuse or product misuse
whether performed by a contractor, service company, or consumer. We will not be responsible for labor charges and/or damage incurred in
installation, repair or replacement, nor for incidental or consequential damage.

PLANNING ASSEMBLY
Before You Start, check the contents of the box and make sure you have all the parts and ttings listed. If not, contact Hampton Bay
Customer Service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON. When you are ready to start, make sure that you have the right tools at hand, plenty of space and
a clean dry area for assembly.

spread out on the oor and used as a protective surface
during assembly.
WARNING: While every precaution has been made in the
manufacture of this product, care must be taken during
assembly in case sharp edges are present.

NOTE: Please lay out all nuts and bolts and check lengths
before assembly.

Assembly
1 Assembling the legs
□Attach the base plate (C) to the base (A) using the two
pretted bolts.
□Attach the upper and lower cylinder chamber supports
(B) together using six bolts (CC) and nuts (BB).
□Fix the cylinder chamber supports (B) to the
corresponding section on the base (A) with the 6 pre-
tted bolts.
□Finger tighten only at this stage.
2 Attaching the cylinder chamber walls
□Using 11 of the bolts (AA) and nuts (BB), attach the lower
cylinder chamber wall (E) to the bottom of the cylinder
chamber supports (B) and attach the upper cylinder
chamber wall (D) by overlapping the lower cylinder
chamber wall (E) as shown.

3 Attaching the lower support pole
□Attach the lower support pole (F) to the cylinder chamber
supports (B) using six bolts (CC) and nuts (BB).
□At this point ensure that all bolts are tightened securely
using a spanner.
4 Attaching the cylinder chamber door
□Attach the upper cylinder chamber door panel (G) to the
lower cylinder chamber door panel (H) using three bolts
(AA) and nuts (BB).
□Hang the assembled door on the hinges.
□Ensure that the alignment is correct and tighten the door
bolts securely.

5 Attaching the upper support pole and
table top
□Slide the table top (I) down over the lower support
pole (F) as shown and secure to the cylinder chamber
supports (B), using three bolts (CC) and three washers
(DD).
□Attach the upper support pole (J) to the lower support
pole (F) using four bolts (CC), four washers (DD) and four
spring washers (GG).
6 Attaching the lantern
□Feed the hose down through the support pole (J) and
secure the lantern (K) to the support pole (J) using four
bolts (CC), washers (DD) and spring washers (GG).
