•Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheating,and only use it in adry
environment.
•Donot use the product in areaswherethe use of electronic devices is not permitted.
•Donot use the product in moist environments and avoid splashes.
•Donot drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
•Dispose of packaging material immediately according to locally applicable
regulations.

GOperating instruction

•Donot attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any and allservice
work to qualied experts.
•Donot open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
Warning -batteries /button cells
•When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and -markings) and insert
the batteries accordingly.Failuretodosocould result in the batteries leaking
or exploding.
•Only use batteries that match the specied type. Keep the instructionsfor the
correct choice of batteries included with the operating instructions of devices
safe for futurereference.
•Beforeyou insert the batteries, clean the battery contacts and the polarity
contacts.
•Donot allow children to change batteries without supervision.
•Replace allthe batteries in aset at the same time.
•Donot mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types or from different
manufacturers.
•Remove the batteries from products that arenot being used for an extended
period (unless these arebeing kept ready foranemergency).
•Donot short-circuit batteries.
•Donot charge batteries.
•Donot burn batteries or heatthem up.
•Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allowthemtoenter the
environment. They can containtoxic, environmentally harmfulheavy metals.
•Remove spent batteries from the product and dispose of them withoutdelay.

•Ifthe battery compartment willnolonger close securely,stop usingthe product
and keep it away from children.

Warning -batteries /button cells
•This product contains button cells. If the button cellisswallowed,
serious internal burns can occur within 2hours and ultimately
lead to death.
•Ifyou suspect that abutton cellhas been swallowed or is in
any part of the body,seek medicalattention immediately.
•Keep new and used button cells out of the reach of children.
4. System Requirements
•The Bluetooth®remote release supports Bluetooth®-capable terminal devices such
as smartphones and tablet PCs that run the iOS 6orAndroid 4.2.2 (or newer)
operating systems.
Note
•Note that support of the Bluetooth®remote release depends on your terminal
device.
•Please refer to the operating instructions for the device youare using.
5. Getting Started
•Open the battery compartment by undoing the screws on the battery cover (4) using
ascrewdriver.
•Remove the battery cover (4) and insert aCR2032 battery with the correct polarity (B).
•Close the battery compartment by putting back the battery cover and tighteningthe
screws using ascrewdriver (B).
6. Operation
Note
•The functions described in this section areonly available for Bluetooth®-capable
terminal devices.
•Note that the maximum range for Bluetooth®is 10 metres without obstacles
such as walls, people, etc.

6.1. Bluetooth pairing
Note –Pairing
•Make surethat your Bluetooth®-capable terminal device is on andBluetooth®
is activated.
•Make surethat your Bluetooth®-capable terminal device is visible for other
Bluetooth®devices.
•For moreinformation, please refer to the operating instructions of your terminal
device.
•Slide the On/off switch (2) to the ON position to switch on the Bluetooth®remote
release. The control light (1) begins to ash green (quickly).
•This means the Bluetooth®remote release is searching for aBluetooth®connection.
•Open the Bluetooth®settings on your terminal device and waituntil Hama BRS2
appears in the list of Bluetooth®devices found.
•Select Hama BRS2 and wait until the Bluetooth®remote release is listed as
connected in the Bluetooth®settings on your terminal device. The control light (1)
begins to ash green (slowly).
•You can now use the Bluetooth®remote release.
6.2. Automatic Bluetooth®connection (after successful pairing)
Note
•Make surethat your Bluetooth®-capable terminal device is on andBluetooth®
is activated.
•Make surethat your Bluetooth®-capable terminal device is visible for other
Bluetooth®devices.
•For moreinformation, please refer to the operating instructions of your terminal
device.
•The Bluetooth®remote release remains connected to the Bluetooth®device it was
last paired with.
•Slide the On/off switch (2) to the ON position to switch on the Bluetooth®remote
release. The control light (1) begins to ash green (slowly).
•After 3–5 seconds, the Bluetooth®remote release automatically connects to the
device.
•You can now use the Bluetooth®remote release.

Note –Connection impaired
After the devices have been paired once, the connection is then established
automatically.Ifthe Bluetooth®connection is not established automatically,check
the following:
•Check the Bluetooth®settings of your terminal device to see whether Hama
BRS2 is connected. If not, repeat the steps listed under 6.1. Bluetooth®
pairing.
•Check whether obstacles areimpairing the range. If so,move the devices closer
together.
•The performance can also be affected by aweak battery.Changethe battery
if necessary.
•Only one Bluetooth®device can be connected at atime. If thereisanactive
connection to another device, deactivate this connectionand try again.
6.3. Replacing the batteries
The battery has been designed to lastfor up to 2,000 shots, although this depends on
the conditions of use.
If the Bluetooth
®
remote release does not respond after you press the release button (3),
or does not connect to the terminal device, etc., change the battery as follows: See (B).
7. Care and Maintenance
Only clean this product with aslightly damp, lint-free cloth anddonot use aggressive
cleaning agents. Make surethat water does not get into theproduct.
