1 FORWARD
This manual was created by greenworks®. It is the
responsibility of the operator to be knowledgeable of
and comply with workplace rules and the environmental
conditions of use.
1.1 PURPOSE
This product may be used to raise vehicles, mowers,
trailers, etc, far enough so the machine can be
supported with appropriate jack stands. This manual,
however, is written for the intended use of raising up a
vehicle for further support by an appropriate jack stand
only. Please refer to the owner's manual of the machine
being lifted for the total vehicle weight and proper lifting
location. The maximum loading weight on this product is
6613 lbs (3000 kg).

avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.
Note is used to address practices not related to
personal injury. Notice signs are typically used for
activities that result in property damage.
WARNING
Please refer to the vehicle owner’s manual for
proper placement of the jack.
Read and understand all safety warnings,
instructions, illustrations, and specifications
provided with and/or on this jack.
Failure to follow all instructions listed in this
manual will create a hazardous environment
which, if not avoided, could result in death or
serious injury.
Note: Save all warning and instructions for future
reference. Do not remove any safety labels that are
affixed on this product.
2.1 SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING
Even when all safety requirements are observed,
some risk may still exist. Make sure the area under
the car is clear when it is raised or lowered to
avoid injury. Never get under a vehicle that is only
supported by a jack. The use of appropriate jack
stands is required during use at all times.
• The operator must work in accordance with the
vehicle and product user manual.
• Only use the handle to carry the product. Do not use
the piston to carry the product.
• Any rebuilding or modification of the jack will void
the warranty.
• Do not use the product when tired, fatigued, and or
under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• When the product is not in use, turn the product off
and remove the power source.
• Do not use the product if it has been exposed to
water.
• Refer to the vehicle owner's manual to find the
vehicle weight. Do not use if the vehicle is over the
product’s load limit.
• The product should only be operated by a person
that has fully read and understands the information
in this manual and complies with all safety warnings
and instructions.
• The product uses hydraulic oil and must be kept in a
well-ventilated area. Only use the product within the
following temperature range of 32˚F – 113˚F (0˚C –
45˚C).
• At the end of the product’s lifespan, do not dispose
of it in household waste. The oil and other materials
may pollute the environment. Dispose of the product
according to local and federal regulations.
• Do not use the jack if the ground incline exceeds 5°.
• Do not use the jack if it is incorrectly positioned,
if the load of the vehicle is not supported properly,
and/or if the load of the vehicle exceeds the stated
jack limit.
• Do not service the jack unless the power is turned
off and disconnected from the battery.
• Visual inspection shall be made before each use
of product by checking for abnormal conditions,
e.g., cracked welds, leaks, and damaged, loose, or
missing parts.
• Other inspections shall be made per product
operating instructions.
• Any product that appears to be damaged in any
way, is found to be worn, or operates abnormally

manufacturer’s or supplier’s authorized repair facility

if repairs are permitted by the manufacturer or
supplier.
• Lift only on areas of the vehicle as specified by the
vehicle manufacturer.
• No alterations shall be made to this product.
• Only attachments and/or adapters supplied by the
manufacturer shall be used.

2.2 WORK AREA SAFETY
CAUTION
Keep work area clean, ventilated, and well lit to avoid
accidents.
• Do not operate products in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases, or dust. products create
sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
• To avoid accidents, keep children and bystanders
away while operating products.
• If changing a tire on the side of the road, make
sure the vehicle is parked and safe from passing
traffic. Be sure that the hood and doors are closed
before using the jack and jack stand. If doors are
open while the vehicle is being raised or lowered,
the closing of the hood or door can cause the weight
of the vehicle to shift during operation.
2.3 ELECTRICAL SAFETY
WARNING
Always use approved personal protective
equipment (PPE). Failure to use appropriate
protective equipment could result in death or
serious injury.
• Product plugs must match the outlet. Never modify
the plug in any way.
• Do not use any adapter plugs with grounded
(earthed) products.
• Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded
surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, stoves, or
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric
shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
• Do not expose products to rain, wet or damp
conditions. Water entering a product will increase
the risk of electric shock or product failure.
• Never use the power cord for carrying or pulling
objects.
• Do not pull on power cord to unplug the product.
• Keep the power cord away from heat, oil, sharp
edges, and moving parts. Damaged or entangled
cords increase the risk of electric shock.
2.4 PERSONAL SAFETY
WARNING
Stay focused when operating a product. Do not
use a product while tired or under the influence.
A moment of inattention while operating products
may result in death or serious injury.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE). Always
wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as
a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or
hearing protection used for appropriate conditions
will reduce personal injuries.
WARNING
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the power
switch is in the OFF position before connecting or
disconnecting to a power source. When picking up
or carrying the product, keep fingers away from
the power switch.
WARNING
Remove any service tools before turning the
product on. Any service tool attached to a rotating
part of the product may result in personal injury.
• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance
at all times. This enables better control of the
product in unexpected situations.
• Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep long
hair, clothing, and gloves away from rotating parts.
Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can be caught in
rotating parts.
• Do not become complacent while using this product.
2.5 PRODUCT USE AND CARE
• Using the correct product for the job will increase
the product’s lifespan.
• Do not use the product if the power switch does
not turn it on and off. Any product that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be
repaired.
• Remove power source from the product before
making any adjustments, changing accessories, or
storing product. Such preventive safety measures
reduce the risk of starting the product accidentally.
• When products are not in use, store product out of
the reach of children.
• Do not allow persons unfamiliar with the product to
operate the product. products are dangerous in the
hands of untrained users.
• Use of this jack is prohibited by anyone under the
age of 18 and may result in serious injury and or
death.
• Maintain products and accessories properly. Inspect
products for damage, misalignment, or binding parts

before each use. Necessary repairs should be made
by the manufacturer or authorized dealer.
• The product shall be inspected immediately if the
device is believed to have been subjected to an
abnormal load or shock. This inspection should be
made by a manufacturer’s or supplier’s authorized
repair facility.
• Annual inspection of the product should be made by
the manufacturer or authorized dealer. Any defective
parts, decals, or safety labels will be replaced
with the manufacturer’s specified parts. A list of
authorized dealers should be available from the
manufacturer or supplier.
• Use the product, accessories, and tool bits etc.
in accordance with these instructions. Use of the
product for operations different from those intended
could result in a hazardous situation.
• Owners and operators should be aware that repair
of this product may require specialized knowledge
and facilities.
2.6 BATTERY PRODUCT USE AND
CARE
WARNING
Avoid contact with battery fluids. If contact
occurs, flush with water and seek medical
attention. Liquid from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
• Only use authentic greenworks® branded battery
and charger. Use the appropriate voltage pack for
the battery.
•greenworks® bears no liability for accidents,
personal injury or property damage (or damage to
batteries, products or chargers) that occurs as a
result of the use of non-genuine, counterfeit and /
or “knock-off“ batteries and / or chargers.
• Only use products with specifically designated
genuine greenworks® battery packs. Use of any
other battery packs may create a risk of injury and
fire, and will void all product warranties.
• When the battery pack is not in use, store in an
appropriate location. Keep away from other metal
objects that can make a connection from one
terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals
together may cause burns or fire.
• Do not use a battery pack or product that
is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified
batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior which
can result in fire, explosion, or risk of injury.
• Do not expose the battery pack, product, or charger
to water, or salt water. Battery should be stored in a
cool, dry location.
• Only attachments and/or adapters supplied by the
manufacturer shall be used.
• Do not expose a battery pack or product to fire
or excessive temperatures. Exposure to fire or
temperatures above 265°F (130°C) may cause an
explosion.
• Follow all charging instructions, and do not charge
the battery pack or product outside the temperature
range specified in the instructions. Charging
improperly or at temperatures outside the specified
range may damage the battery and increase the risk
of fire.
2.7 SERVICE
• Have your product serviced by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts.
This will ensure that the safety of the product is
maintained.
• Never service damaged battery packs. Service of
battery packs should only be performed by the
manufacturer or authorized service providers.
2.8 SYMBOLS ON THE PRODUCT
The below symbols appear on the product. Please learn
their definitions. Correct interpretation of these symbols
ensures safe operation.

2.10 PROPOSITION 65
WARNING
This product contains a chemical known to the
state of California to cause cancer, birth defects,
or other reproductive harm. Some dust created by
power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other
construction activities contains chemicals known to
cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive
harm. Some examples of these chemicals are:
• Lead from lead-based paints
• Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other
masonry products
• Arsenic and chromium from chemically treated
lumber
Risk of exposure to these chemicals varies depending
on how product is used. To reduce exposure to
these chemicals, work in a well-ventilated area. Work
with approved personal protective equipment, such as
dust masks that are specially designed to filter out
microscopic particles.
2.11 ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE
BATTERY DISPOSAL
The toxic and corrosive material below is in the batteries
used in this machine: Lithium-ion.
WARNING
Discard all toxic materials in the below
specified manner to prevent contamination of
the environment. Before discarding damaged or
worn-out Lithium-ion batteries, contact your local
waste disposal agency or the local Environmental
Protection Agency for information and specific
instructions. Take the batteries to a local recycling
and/or disposal center certified for Lithium-ion
disposal.
WARNING
If the battery pack cracks or breaks, with or
without leaks, do not recharge it and do not use.
Discard it and replace with a new battery pack. DO
NOT TRY TO REPAIR IT! To prevent injury and risk
of fire, explosion, or electric shock, and also to
avoid damage to the environment:
•Cover the terminals of the battery with heavy-
duty adhesive tape.
•DO NOT try to remove or destroy any of the
battery pack components.
•DO NOT try to open the battery.
•If a leak develops, the released electrolytes are
corrosive and toxic. DO NOT get the solution in
the eyes or on the skin, and do not swallow it.
•DO NOT put these batteries in your regular
household trash.
•DO NOT incinerate.
•DO NOT put them where they will become part
of any waste landfill or municipal solid waste
stream.
•Take them to a certified recycling or disposal
center.

4 INSTALLATION
4.1 INSTALL THE BATTERY PACK
Note: Always inspect the battery charger, battery, and
battery compartment for damage, dirt, or debris before
inserting battery into the car jack. Do not use battery if
it is damaged. Clean any dirt or debris from battery and
battery compartment.

batteries and / or chargers.

1. Align the lift grooves (1) on the battery compartment
with the ribs (2) on the battery pack (3).
2. Push the battery pack into the jack battery
compartment until the battery locks firmly into place.
Note: There will be a “click” when the battery is
correctly installed.

1. Press and hold the battery release button (1).
2. Remove the battery (2) from the jack (3).
5 OPERATION
5.1 TURN THE LIGHTS ON
1. Install the battery pack.

2. Press power switch (1) to the ON position.
Note: With the battery installed and the power
switch ON, the white LED light (2) and the hazard
lights (3) will automatically turn on until the power
switch is turned OFF or the battery loses charge.
5.2 TURN THE LIGHTS OFF

1. Press power switch (1) to the OFF position to turn
the lights off.
2. Remove the battery pack.
5.3 OPERATE THE PRODUCT
WARNING
Never work under the vehicle while raising,
lowering, or using the jack. Always use
appropriate jack stands after vehicle has been
raised.
When using the jack, make sure the vehicle engine
is turned OFF, all passengers are out of the
vehicle, and all doors are shut.
This jack cannot be used to support bumpers,
beams, and other parts.
This product should be operated by adults only.
1. Park vehicle on a firm, level surface.
2. Place the vehicle in park and apply the parking
brake. Turn the engine off.
3. Place wheel chocks as necessary.
4. Install the battery pack.
5. Place the jack under the vehicle. Please refer to
the vehicle owner’s manual for correct placement of
jack.

6. Rotate the saddle (1) counterclockwise to decrease
distance between jack and vehicle, or rotate the
saddle clockwise to increase distance between the
jack and the vehicle.
7. Turn the power switch to the ON position.

8. Press and hold the directional switch in the up
position (2) to raise the jack. Release switch once
the jack has reached the desired height, and install
jack stands per separate jack stand instructions.
9. To lower the jack, press and hold the directional
switch in the down position (3). Once the jack is
completely retracted, remove from vehicle.
10. Turn the power switch to the OFF position.
5.4 USE THE RELEASE VALVE
In the event of the jack loses power and the piston is not
able to be retracted, please follow the steps below:
Note: The steps below are only intended for when the
battery has lost power. They are not intended for normal
operation.

1. Remove the rubber seal (1) and the release valve
tool (2) from the jack.
2. Insert release valve tool into the release valve.
3. Slowly turn the release valve tool counterclockwise
to release pressure, allowing the piston to be
retracted.
Note: When using the release valve, the load of the
vehicle will lower the piston. There may be slight
pressure needed to fully lower the piston.
4. Once the piston has retracted enough to remove
the jack from under the vehicle, tighten the release
valve by turning the release valve tool clockwise.
6 MAINTENANCE
WARNING
When servicing, only use greenworks®
recommended replacement parts. Use of any other
parts could create a hazard or cause product
damage and will void the warranty.
6.1 GENERAL MAINTENANCE
• This product does not require an oil change during
its lifespan.
• Maintenance and repair must be carried out by
qualified persons.
• Regularly clean the exterior of the product. Avoid
using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various
types of commercial solvents. Use clean cloths and
warm soapy water to clean the plastic components.
• Before each use, turn the product on and check that
all functions are working correctly.
