
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
FOR PORTABLE XENON FLOODLIGHT

TXP400Y - 110V/400W
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
This worklight must e earthed. If it ecomes necessary to
rewire the plug please follow these guidelines. Always secure
wires in plug terminals carefully. Make sure the ca le is firmly
located in the cord grip. NEVER connect the green & yellow wire
to any terminal other than one marked with the earth sym ol ‘E’
or ‘ ’.
Regularly inspect all electrical connections and wiring for
damage. Any faults should e immediately rectified efore
further use of the worklight. Always have the wiring and
connections checked y a qualified electrician. In use, ensure all
wiring and extension ca les are kept clear of any cutting tools,
sharp o jects and any other potential hazards such as wet
floors, chemicals & solvents etc.
Note:
If your mains wiring differs in any way from Diagram A. Consult
a qualified electrician. Always replace the fuse with one of an
identical rating.
1. Slide the stand into the worklight racket (G).
2. Align the holes in the racket and the stand.
3. Insert and tighten angle adjustment control (D).
4. To alter the angle of the worklight, simply loosen the angle
adjustment control (D), pivot the worklight until the
desired angle is achieved and re-tighten control (D).
5. Check the worklight is secure and that the stand is sta le and
has a firm footing.
6. Ensure ca le is not catching on any sharp o ject and that the
mains plug connection is adequately protected against rain or
moisture.
7. Your worklight is now ready for use.
Blue: Neutral to ‘N’ Terminal
Brown: Live to ‘L’ Terminal
Green & Yellow: Earth Terminal
