ATTENTION: Please read this operating instruction carefully, before you operate the lock or you try
to tailor a new combination of numbers. We do not undertake any liability for functional disorder
because of faulty switch over or use of violence or improper use and neither for damage nor for loss
of property which could be put down i.e. to the not proper closing of the safe.
General Information
Any button-activity is conrmed by a signal tone sounds each time a button is pressed. The maximum
distance between 2 activities may not be more than 20 seconds otherwise the former entering is deleted.
Opening the safe for the first time:
For opening the safe for the rst time proceed as follows:
1. Remove the small round central plate on the front panel
2. Insert the key into the key-hole and turn it into a counter-clockwise direction
3. Insert 4 batteries 1,5 Volt AA
Program of the electronical lock
Before you use your safe for the rst time you have to enter your personal code (reasons of safety).
You aren’t allowed to take the delivered code over. Before you carry out the simply programming
please think about your code rstly. Use no personal data which can be thought by any persons.
Keep your code and the keys in safe place where only you can nd it. Don’t leave the keys in the safe.
1. open the safe
2. press the red button (inside of the door at the hinges)
3. there are two signal-tones and the yellow LED switches on. Now you have 20 seconds to start
programming.
4. enter the combination you desired (at least 3 numbers, at most 8 numbers) and conrm your
entry by pressing the button “E”.
5. After conrmation of the combination by the button “E” there are two signal-tones and the yellow
LED goes off and shows, that the programming was successful.
Opening the electronical-lock
1. enter your own code and conrm your entry by pressing the button “E”.
2. the green LED ashes and now you have 5 seconds to open the safe
3. turn the handle to the right side to open the safe
Locking device time by entering the wrong code
If you enter the wrong code, there are 3 signal-tones and the yellow LED ashes. Now you have two
more attempts to enter the correct code. If you enter the code 3 times incorrectly the lock blocks for
20 seconds. During the locking-device-time the lock doesn’t react to any entry.
echanical emergency-opening
If you have forgotten your code or the battery is empty, please do this:
1. remove the small round grey cover between the handle and the keypad
2. put in the emergency-key and turn to the left-hand side as far as it will go
3. now you can open the safe as usual

Changing the batteries
1. Open the battery opening on the back of the door.
2. Put in 4 batteries 1,5 Volt AA.
Time Delay Function
The safe box can also be used as a Time Delay Safe. Using this modality, it will be possible to open
the safe after a pre-set time interval.
To use this function, move the lever that you will nd inside the door relative to the time delay desired.
Choose the time delay you wish to use on your safe: 1-2-5-10-15-20 minutes.
Using 2 or more levers together the time of each lever will be summed to the total delay. For exam-
ple, if you select the 5 minute and the 10 minute lever the delay will be of 15 minutes.
Dial the rst time your personal code on the keypad outside to start the countdown for the delayed
opening. At the end of the countdown a beeping sound will warn you of the possibility of opening
the safe by dialling again the personal code and rotating the knob.
If combination is not entered within a 2-hour window, the system will cancel the procedure and it
will have to repeated from the beginning.
It will always be possible to open the safe with the key, at any time, in any condition.

For any intervention, please contact only Genie Hand S.R.L. to the addresses provided in the previous
chapter. Interventions carried out by unauthorized companies, will result in the immediate termina-
tion of the warranty terms.

from tampering or in any case from use of the apparatus other than that described in this manual.
The costs of non-production are not attributable to the malfunction of the product, as a component
can be managed as spare available.

Warranty
The warranty rules, listed in full in the purchase contract, are valid only if the product is used in the
conditions of intended use.
Excluded for the maintenance interventions described in chap. MAINTENANCE need to be carried
out with the procedures indicated, any repair or modication made to the product by the user or by
unauthorized companies will cause the warranty to lapse.
The warranty does not extend to damages caused by inexperience or negligence in the use of the
product, or by bad or neglected maintenance.
The products sold by us are covered by warranty for the product under the following conditions:
1. The warranty is valid for a period of 2 years.
2. The manufacturer assumes the duty to replace at its discretion the parts malfunctioning or in-
correct manufacture, only after a careful check and evidence of poor construction.
3. The costs of transport and / or shipping are always the buyer's responsibility.
4. During the warranty period, the replaced products become the property of the manufacturer.
5. The guarantee does not include damages deriving from excessive stress, such as the use of the
product after the detection of an anomaly, the use of unsuitable operating methods and the
failure to observe the instructions for use and maintenance.
6. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for any difficulties that may arise in resale or use
abroad due to the provisions in force in the country where the product was sold.
7. The parts subject to wear, such as connectors, potentiometers, power cables and interconnec-
tion cables, are excluded from the warranty.
8. The warranty is void if the device is opened and / or tampered with, even partially.

The safe is equipped with an identication plate on which are reported the identication details of
the device and the main technical data related to the power supplies.

aintenance and cleaning
Maintenance intended as repair work must only be carried out by the manufacturer.
The safe does not require any maintenance on the internal circuits.
All cleaning operations must be performed by removing the batteries and disconnecting the safe
from the power supply.
A clean and slightly damp cotton cloth is sufficient for the external cleaning of the container. The
surface is resistant to normal cleaning products, with the exception of aggressive solvents (petrol,
acetone, diluents in general, etc.).
For internal cleaning use a light blower or brush.

Extraordinary maintenance
Extraordinary maintenance is required in cases of breakdowns or breakages due to heavy exploita-
tion, unpredictable accidents or improper use of the device.
The situations that can be created from time to time are completely unpredictable and therefore it is
not possible to describe appropriate intervention procedures.
If necessary, consult the technical service to receive instructions appropriate to the situation.
All interventions, mechanical or electrical, ordinary or extraordinary, must in any case be carried out
by specialized personnel.
The environmental policy of Genie Hand S.R.L. limits the use of polluting materials (lead, solvents,
etc.) to the minimum necessary. According to current Community legislation, it is necessary to dis-
pose of the safe in accordance with the local regulations regarding the disposal of mechanical, elec-
trical and electronic waste. For no reason abandon the product in the environment: this action can
be prosecuted as a source of long-term pollution.
In case of further doubts about disposal, contact Genie Hand S.R.L.
In order to avoid the risk of electric shock and / or injuries, the instructions in the manual and in the
following notes must be followed carefully.
• Do not open the container for any reason. Removing the cover or disassembling any other panel
will cause the operator to be exposed to potentially dangerous voltages. For interventions inside,
contact only Genie Hand S.R.L. and to technical personnel.
• Do not expose the apparatus to rain, splashes of water, excessive humidity, steam, dust, metallic
particles or any other material that may penetrate inside.
• Do not expose the appliance to heat sources.
• At the time of installation or use in hot and humid rooms as a result of storage or transport at very
low temperatures, condensation can form on the outside and inside the equipment. It is therefore
essential to wait for this condensation to disappear before activating the electrical part.
• Always use standard and intact power cables.
• Always check that the power supply network complies with the indications in the technical speci-
cations of the equipment.
Disposal
Construction materials of the device do not require special disposal procedures. In case of demo-
lition, refer to the local regulations for the scrapping of electrical and electronic equipment.
Never disperse the product in the environment.

PRÉCAUTION: Lisez bien toutes les instructions avant de mettre en service la serrure ou avant de
mettre une nouvelle combinaison de chiffres. Nous ne répondons ni des ennuis mécaniques dus à
un changement impropre ou bien à un usage de force, à un traitement incorrect ni des dommages
matériels ou pécuniaires par exemple dus à une fermeture du coffre-fort non-conforme aux régles.
Généralités
Chaque manipulation de clé produit une courte argile de signal. La distance entre 2 manipulations de
clé ne peut pas dépasser 20 secondes.
Ouvrir le coffre-fort (premier fois):
Pour ouvrir le coffre-fort le premier fois procédure comme suite:
1. éliminez la couverture entre la prise rotative et le clavier
2. introduisez la clé d’ouverture d’urgence vers la gauche et tournez-la jusqu’à l’arret
3. mettez maintenant 4 piles AA 1,5 volt
Programmer un nouveau code
Avant la premiére utilisation du coffre-fort vous devez introduire votre code personnel à cause des
raisons de la sécurité. Ne gardez en aucun cas le code de livraison! Avant de réaliser la programmation
toute simple de votre nouveau code, choisissez les chiffres. N’utilisez pas de dates personnelles qu’on
puisse deviner seulement pour la connaissance de votre situation personnelle. Gardez votre code et
soigneusement de sorte qu’il ne soit seulement à votre disposition. Ne laissez en aucun cas les clés
dans le coffre-fort.
1. Ouvrir le coffre-fort.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton rouge (intérieur de porte à proximité celui articulations).
3. Trois tons de signal retentissent, et la diode lumineu se jaune s’allume. Maintenant, vous devez
commen cer en 20 secondes avec la programmation.
4. Mettez votre code d’utilisation personnel (qui doit étre entre 3 et 8 chiffres), conrmez l’entrée
avec la clé „E“.
5. Aprés la conrmation de la combinaison par le clé “E”, la diode lumineuse verte s’allume, la pro-
grammation a été réussi.
Ouvrir le coffre-fort
1. Entrez le code prét par vous, conrmez le code avec la clé „E“.
2. Aprés avoir entré le dernier chiffre, la diode lumineu se verte et vous devez ouvrir le coffre-fort
dans un délai de 5 secondes.
3. Vous pouvez déverrouiller le coffre-fort à l’aide de la poignée tournante et ouvrir la porte.
Réaction en cas de l’entrée d’un code fautif
Aprés une entrée fautive du code, trois tons de signal retentissent, et la diode lumineuse jaune
s’allume. Il vous reste encore deux tentatives d’entrer le code correct. Aprés avoir entré plus de 3 fois
un code fautif, l’intervalle des heures d’interdiction commence (environ 20 secondes). Pendant ce
temps la serrure ne réagit à aucun commende de touche.
Ouverture d’urgence mécanique
Si vous deviez avoir oublié le code, ou les batteries sont vides, vous procédure comme suit:
1. éliminez la couverture entre la prise rotative et le clavier
2. introduisez la clé d’ouverture d’urgence vers la gauche et tournez-la jusqu’à l’arrét
3. ouvrez maintenant le coffre-fort comme habitué
