Each stone in the precision CZ Master
Set Pro 3 is treated with GEMORO’s
proprietary COLORLAST®technology to
ensure permanent color saturation. They
are meticulously hand-graded by experts
in the GEMORO grading laboratory to
master diamond color standards using the
GIA grading scale. The jewelry industry’s
most popular CZ master set now comes
in GEMORO’s PATENTED LED illuminated
grading and storage case, featuring
natural daylight and UV LED’s, powered

by rechargeable NiMH batteries and a
micro-USB power/charging system.
PLEASE READ BEFORE USING THE
PROVIDED NiMH RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES
Before using the NiMH rechargeable
batteries that have been provided with
your CZ Master Set Pro 3, to increase their
life it is recommended to fully charge the
batteries as shown by the small round LED
indicator located in the center of the rear
side of the grading case. The indicator
will light up YELLOW when charging and
GREEN when fully charged. While the
batteries are being charged, the grading
case may be used as desired while
powered by the AC current.
CONDITIONS FOR IDEAL OPERATION
1. The CZ case should be placed on
a level surface such as a desk,
workbench, or showcase.
2. It is best if the lighting in the room is
either turned off or dimmed.
3. Color grading is best performed
in the morning while your eyes
are fresh and not fatigued.

CAUTION
DO NOT attempt to disassemble the
GEMORO CZ Master Set Pro 3 other than
to replace the batteries or the warranty
will become void. Simply hand clean the
stones to remove hand or body oil with
a clean, dry cloth as needed. DO NOT
clean the stones under a steamer, within
an ultrasonic cleaning machine or with any
cleaning agents. Doing so could damage
your stones and void its warranty.
OPERATION - NiMH BATTERY USAGE
1. Remove the battery compartment door
located on the bottom of the GEMORO
CZ Master Set Pro 3 by inserting your
fingernail or coin into the crescent
shaped opening in the center bottom of
the case and prying it open.
To activate the (2) NiMH rechargeable
GEMORO CZ MASTER SET PRO3®6
batteries, REMOVE THE BATTERY
DISCHARGE INSULATOR TAB
located at the end of the battery and
then carefully replace the battery
compartment door. To increase the life
of the NiMH rechargeable batteries,
after removing the discharge insulator
tab, fully charge the batteries prior to
use.
If you wish to replace the NiMH
batteries, after removing the battery

compartment door as described above,
insert (2) new AAA NiMH batteries or
(2) high-quality AAA alkaline batteries
into the battery compartment. The
proper polarity positioning is indicated
on the side of the battery compartment
wall showing the direction of positive
(+) and negative (-) polarity so that it
is correctly positioned in the battery
holder. Carefully replace the battery
compartment door. To increase the life
of the NiMH rechargeable batteries,
after removing the discharge insulator
tab, fully charge the batteries prior to
use.
2. The CZ Master Set Pro 3 NiMH
rechargeable batteries may be charged
by plugging its supplied micro-USB
power cord into the rear of the case and
the USB adapter cube directly into a
wall outlet. Once the case is connected
to the AC adapter, the case will switch
to its DC power mode. The round LED
battery indicator light in the middle
of the rear of the case will light up as
follows:
GREEN = Fully Charged
YELLOW = Charging
RED = Low Batteries

The tester’s built-in Intelligent Charging
Circuit ICC will automatically identify
the type of batteries installed (NiMH
rechargeable batteries or alkaline
batteries). If alkaline batteries are
installed, the circuit will automatically
cut off the power supply to the
batteries. If NiMH rechargeable
batteries are installed, the batteries
will be recharged and at the same
time the CZ Master Set Pro 3 may
be used with the AC adapter.
3. To power the CZ Master Set Pro 3
press the round white button located
on the rear side of the case and the
white natural daylight LED’s will light
up. Press the button again to turn on
the UV LED’s. Press the button again to
turn it off.
4. To open the CZ Master Set Pro 3 case
to access the CZ’s, press the thin white
rectangular shaped button on the front

center of the case with one hand, while
pulling open the lid up and open with
the other hand. To close the CZ Master
Set Pro 3 case, simply lower the lid until
the lock is securely engaged.

GRADING DIAMOND COLOR OR
FLUORESCENCE
1. To color grade a diamond, simply place
it in the middle of the grooved tray,
positioned with the table (flat part of the
stone) down at a 45° angle while laying
the table of the stone against the front of
the groove.
2. For best results, it is recommended to
turn off or dim the overhead lights in
the room you are in. Turn on the cases
natural daylight LED’s when color
grading or UV LED’s when grading
fluorescence.
3. By process of elimination, lay the master
stones next to the diamond until you are
able to visually match the color to the
diamond.
4. Store the CZ Master Set Pro 3 in its
leatherette pouch with the lid closed in a
climate-controlled room. Never expose
it to extreme heat and/or UV radiation.
