Actvated Carbon Flter: Actvate carbon flters are unclea-
nable by ther nature.
They should be replaced once a year dependng on the env-
ronment where t s used and the frequency of use.
Dsconnect the devce from power supply, open the servce
panel and the remove the flter by pullng t to yourself and
attach the new one. Then, close the servce panel.
Hepa Flter: When the hepa flter replacement ndcator s
on, the flter should be replaced.
Tme to flters to get drty may vary by the envronment
where t s used and the frequency of use.
Dsconnect the devce from power supply, open the servce
panel, carefully loosen the clps holdng the hepa flter
and remove t by holdng from ts front secton and lftng
upward.
Place the new flter nto the frame and tghten the clps.
Then, close the servce panel.
Snce hepa flters trap vruses and bactera, the used ones
may contan harmful partcles. After the flters are removed
usng necessary protectve equpment, they should be put
n a trash bag whch should be tghtly sealed. Then, ths
trash bag should be put n another trash bag and tghtly
sealed. The date and tme of ths process should be wrtten
on the bag wth a non-erasable pen. After 72 hours, the bag
contanng the flter can be dsposed wth domestc wastes.
However, f the flters are not subjected to ths process, they
should be regarded as medcal waste and dsposed accor-
dngly.
Make sure that the new hepa flter s properly ft n the flter frame. Otherwse, the devce wll
not operate properly. The junked flters should be dsposed properly and safely.
UV-C Lamp: The UV-C lamp should not be touched wth
bare hands.
When the lamp replacement ndcator s on, the UV-C lamp
should be replaced. Dsconnect the devce from power supply,
open the servce panel and carefully remove the UV-C lamp
from ts holder.
Carefully wpe the UV-C lamp wth a clean cloth once a month
to mprove ts effcency. Vnegar may be used for mneral
deposts, pure alcohol for most organc resdues and a lnt-
free cloth for ol. Commonly used cleaners whch do not leave
any resdue wll work.
Snce UV-C lamps contan mercury, they should not be dsposed wth domestc wastes. The
lamps whose lfetme s expred must be dsposed wth 20 01 21* code or sent to a recycle plant
n accordance wth the Envronment Law No. 2872 and the Regulaton on Waste Management
dated 02.04.2015 and numbered 29314.
