Ferrules Direct’s FD630B hydraulic press is a versatile, heavy duty
machine capable of crimping compression lugs and uninsulated
terminals ranging from 250 to 1250MCM (150 to 630mm2)

pump.

Remove the die pin.
Loosen the securing screw
and slide the bottom die
into available crimping
slot.
Tighten the screw on the
bottom die to secure it.
Slide in the top half of the
die set and re-insert the
die pin.
Connect the Hydraulic
pump to the accessory
port.
Re-insert the die pin.
Now you are ready to
crimp!

• Use the FD630B for recommended uses only, any deviation

• Maintain a clean and well lit work space.
• Keep bystanders clear of your work space during assembly
and operation.
• Maintain proper footing and balance at all times, ensuring
better control while crimping lugs and terminals.
• Keep hands and ngers away from the crimping head, the
FD630B creates approximately 35 Tons.
• Do not operate when tired or under the inuence of
intoxicants.
• NEVER attempt to crimp wires that are plugged into an outlet
and are electrically charged.
• Refer to the wire manufacturer’s instruction manual for specic
crimping information prior to using this product.
• Maintain the product labels and name plates, If they are
missing or unreadable contact Ferrules direct.
• This product is not a toy. Do not allow children with or near the

• Check that all parts are properly functioning and tightened
every month, do not operate if anything is missing or
damaged.
• Lubricate moving parts roughly every 10,000 crimping cycles
by adding Premium ISO (VG) 32 Anti-Wear Oil.
• When storing the FD630B, cover the hydraulic port to prevent
debris from collecting.
• store the press in a dry, cool place and cover it with a suitable
covering to avoid dust and potential rust, depending on the
operating conditions.
• Do not operate the FD630B in high temperature or humidity
(recommended operating conditions: 40°F to 120°F).
