requirement w en properly used and installed. To t is end, our products are t oroug ly tested
and examined before despatc .

invalidate t e approval of t e appliance, operation of t e warranty and could affect your
statutory rig ts.
Health and Safety otice
Important
T is appliance could contain some of t e materials, indicated below, t at could be interpreted
as being injurious to ealt and safety. It is t e users / installers responsibility to ensure t at t e
necessary personal protective clot ing is worn w en andling t ese materials, see below for
information.
Artificial Fuels, Mineral Wool, Insulation Material, Refractory/Ceramic Fibres, Glass Yarn -
may be harmful if inhaled, may be irritating to skin, eyes, nose and throat.
When handling
avoid inhaling and contact with skin or eyes. Use disposable gloves,
facemasks and eye protection. After handling wash hands and other exposed parts. If a vacuum
is used for cleaning the coals or cleaning after servicing / installation it is recommended that it
be of the type fitted with a H PA filter
.
Disposal of refractory/ceramic materials.
To keep dust to a minimum these materials
should be securely wrapped in polythene and be clearly labelled ‘RCF waste’. These
materials are not classified as ‘hazardous waste and should be disposed of at a site
licensed for the disposal of industrial waste.

i.e. CORGI-registered, in accordance wit t e GAS SAFETY (INSTALLATION AND USE)
REGULATIONS.

T e c imney or flue (unless new or previously used wit a gas appliance) must be swept
before installation if it as been used for solid fuel.
WARNING
T is appliance as a naked flame, as wit all suc fires it is recommended t at a fireguard
s ould be used for t e protection of c ildren, t e elderly and infirm. Fireguards s ould conform
to BS 6539 (1984) (Fireguards for use wit solid fuel appliances).
