DESIGNATION

Axial electric fan STORM is designed for use in ventilation systems of industrial, public

and residential buildings. Installed in window and wall openings. Axial wall (ceiling) fan

STORM is designed to provide supply and exhaust ventilation of commercial premises

requiring rapid pumping of large amounts of air (sanitary equipment, vulcanization, paint

shop, production shops, kitchens of cafes and restaurants, stores with a large number of

cold rooms, etc.). The housing of the fan is made of steel, painted with polymer paint in

black. Installation is carried out in window openings, walls, ceilings, as well as directly on

the units that require blowing.

Security requirements

According to the type of protection against electric shock fans belong to Class 1 devices

according to GOST 12.2.007.0-75. Type of climatic version of the fans UHL4 according

to GOST 15150-69. The degree of protection of electrical equipment enclosure against

penetration of solid objects and water in accordance with GOST 14254-2015 (IEC

60529:2013): IPX4

ATTENTION!

This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience

or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction

concerning use of the device by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the

device.

ATTENTION!

All actions related to connection, adjustment, maintenance and repair of

the product should be performed only when the mains voltage is o (S1

in OFF position). The fans are connected by qualiﬁed electricians who are

authorized to perform the work.

Before installation, it is necessary to check that there is no visible damage

to the impeller, housing, grid, as well as that there are no foreign objects

that can damage the impeller blades. The wiring diagram of the fan and the

connection to the electric network is shown in Figure 3.

Do not install the fan in the same ventilation duct as the ﬂue from devices

with fuel burners.

Before using the device, be sure to read these instructions!

BASIC TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Fans are manufactured in accordance with TU 28.25.20-011-96059883-2022, current

norms and standards.

Depending on the model, two- or four-pole asynchronous motors on ball bearings are

used. For models Ø200, Ø250, Ø300 mm — two-pole motors, for models Ø350, Ø400,

Ø450 mm — four-pole motors.

Fan STORM is available in several sizes, depending on the diameter of the impeller. Fans:

STORM 200; STORM 250; STORM 300; STORM 350; STORM 400; STORM 450;

Figure 1 and in Tables 1, 2.

AIR FLOW

The fans are designed to be connected to AC 220–240 V 50/60 Hz. When the fans

are connected to 60 Hz AC power, the speciﬁcations may change. Check with the

manufacturer. Temperature of transported air from -30 to +60 °C

Installation chart

The fans are installed with a square connection housing. The sequence of steps is shown

in Figure 2.

Connecting fan to network

The single-phase network to which the

fan is connected must comply with current

regulations. The ﬁxed wiring must be

equipped with a circuit breaker (S1 on the

diagram).

ATTENTION! The fan and auxiliary monitoring equipment must be isolated from the power

supply during installation and/or maintenance.

Maintenance

• Disconnect the fan from the network

• Dismantle the fan by removing it from its place of installation

• In case of heavy clogging, remove the fan impeller, clean it with a dry rag, reinstall it in its original position.

• Wipe all surfaces dry

• Assemble the fan and install it in place

Rules of storage and transportation

The fan must be stored only in the packaging of the manufacturer in a ventilated room at a

temperature of +5°C to +40°C and relative humidity of no more than 80% (at T = 25°C). Shelf

life — 5 years from the date of manufacture.

Devices are transported by any mode of transport provided that the consumer or transport

packaging is protected from direct exposure to atmospheric precipitation, no displacement

of transport places during transportation, no mutual shocks during transportation and ensure

the safety of fans. Transportation is carried out in accordance with the rules in force for this

type of transport.

Disposal

This device is marked according to European Directive 2012/19/EU on the disposal of waste

electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). This directive deﬁnes the EU-wide rules for the

reception and disposal of devices.

Warranty period — 2 years.

The manufacturer guarantee the normal operation of the fan for 2 years from the date of sale

in the retail trade network, provided that the rules of transportation, storage, installation,

operation and other requirements of this manual are followed.

If the date of sale is not marked, the warranty period is calculated from the date of

manufacture. In case of any malfunction of the fan due to the manufacturer’s fault during the

warranty period, the consumer has the right to have the fan replaced by the manufacturer

provided that the serial numbers on the product and in the data sheet match.

Shelf life — 5 years.

The product meets the following requirement:

TR CU 004/2011 — «On safety of low-voltage equipment»;

TR CU 020/2011 — «Electromagnetic Compatibility of Technical Devices»;

TR CU 010/2011 — «On safety of machines and equipment»;

Declaration of Conformity EEU N RU Д-RU.РА03.В.76917/22. Valid from May 25,

2022 to May 24, 2027 inclusive.

Explanation of serial numbers. The serial number is located on the fan data label

and consists of 10 digits. The serial number reads from left to right as follows:

Supply package:

• Fan in assembly;

• Data sheet / Operation manual;

• Package.
