For further support please contact the following:

Epson Advanced Product Support (APS) Center

With just one phone call, you can access world-class technical assistance for any Epson

System Device product. Our APS center is ready to answer your advanced technical

questions, Monday-Friday 6am-5pm Pacific Time.

Epson APS Center: (562) 276-1314 Option 3

APS logs and tracks your call to make sure your question is resolved. Through a well-

defined escalation process, the APS staff has access all the way to the design group, if

necessary, to resolve more serious problems.

On the first use of our TM-C3400 Inkjet Printer, we

will be filling the ink channels and printhead with ink.

Once you start an ink cartridge in the printer for

the first time, please, leave the printer alone until

the green power light stops flashing. Opening a

door (ink or media) or turning the power on/off will

restart this filling cycle. Repeated cycling of the doors

or power may result in depleting this initial cartridge

before you print anything.

After this fill cycle is complete, less purging of the

ink will occur (typically 3-5 secs) with each door

opening or power cycling. This cycling is normal so

that we keep the printer ready for you to use. Unless

the printer will be idle for an extended time (typically,

more than a week), leave it on. The printer has Auto

Nozzle Checking technology and will keep it ready to

use with a minimal use of cleaning ink.
