4-2. Installing Sensor
1) Vibration Sensor
Vibration sensor must be located where you are trying to measure. If not incorrectly installed, guideline will be invalided.
Vibration sensor must be located where you are trying to measure. If not incorrectly installed, guideline will be invalided.
Vibration sensor is designed for use with a magnet. If a magnet does not work where area is not a metal part,
you can use a glue to attach it.
Please refer to the provided images.(Vehicle Locations)
According to environmental condition, sensitivity may change. Sensor must be checked periodically (6~12month).
2) Noise Sensor
Noise sensor must be located where you are trying to measure. If not incorrectly installed, guideline will be
invalided.
Noise sensor is designed for use with a magnetic stand.
Sensor signal can be effected by environmental noise.
According to environmental condition, sensitivity may change. Sensor must be checked periodically(6~12month).
3) Photo Sensor (Rotational speed Sensor)
Install the Photo sensor pointed to the reflective tape. Reflective tape must be located in the P/Shaft.

Photo sensor is designed for use with a magnetic stand.
Place the magnetic stand at the bottom of the Differential gear Housing and locate the sensor perpendicularly
to the reflective tape.
Photo sensor and vibration sensor are coupled together for balancing. When using a Photo sensor only, RPM
can be checked. Use the cable in a safe manner.

1. NVB-150 has already installed a battery. Press power button for 3 seconds to turn on your NVB-150. LED will go red and system will start.
2. If your NVB-150 does not start, battery may be discharged then use the AC Power Adapter.
3. When the LED showing orange , NVB-150 is in the charge-mode.
4. If the LED changes to green, battery is fully charged.
5. Press power button for 3 seconds to turn off your NVB-150.

1. NVB-150 is a touch screen based. You can use your touch pen to operate your NVB-150 which included rear side of main body.
2. Touch panel may be damaged if you use sharpened things, such as pencil or pen. Please use a touch pen.

2. <ESC>Key allows you to cancel the current screen and move to main screen. It works as same as the ESC button from
the touch screen.

※Press the “Enter” button to start at “Focusing State”.

1. NVB-150 Software consists of 4 areas :<Navigation Area>, <Tab Button Area>, <Contents Area> and
<Start Button Area>.
2. <Navigation Area> shows where you are now.
3. <Tab Button Area> helps you to proceed to the next step.
4. <Contents Area> shows status of your information and progress of your results,
<Contents Area> also includes selection and start button.

1Main function Button allows you to start a function which you selected from the top menu.
2Time Information shows the current time. Time information can effect on your saved data.
You can change the current time by selecting date menu.
3Battery Information shows the battery remaining voltage.
4Tab Button allows you to check each category of information from contents area.
5Start button allows you to proceed to the next step or progress and cancel your process.

Vehicle Selection
Press the Vehicle selection button to select a vehicle from the main screen.
Select a model, engine, and transmission from the vehicle information screen.
After the selection has been set, Press the OK button.
Screen will automatically return to main screen.
Vehicle selection area will display vehicle information.
Now, you can progress vibration, noise, and balance function.
