1. Product benefits and features

1.1. Benefits

The SF-xxx-x bio-ethanol burner series from ENJOYABLE WARMTH is a

premium burner that will fit into your design perfectly. Its safety features

are unrivaled. Using bio-ethanol as a fuel means it’s suitable in any place –

no need for exhaust systems, gas pipelines or constructive adjustments to

your building.

The burner combines ease-of-use (operate it using a smartphone app, an

infrared remote control, or buttons on the heater itself; have it filled

automatically by the filler system) with safety (the filler system

automatically stops when the tank is full –no spilling; the burner includes

multiple safety sensors) and design (it can be installed anywhere –nicely

build it in at the place you like; it provides nice yellow flames).

Being CE-tested and certified, you can trust on its safe operation.

1.2. How it works

Bio-ethanol is (almost) pure alcohol, made out

of (waste of) natural products like e.g. sugar

cane. When bio-ethanol burns, its rest products

are carbon-dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O). We

(humans) also breath out carbon-dioxide. There

is no risk of carbon-monoxide, as with gas

burners, which is toxic and dangerous.

In order to get a nice yellow flame, the bio-ethanol is dispersed into the

burner with computerized precision. The fuel tank is separate from the

burner, ensuring safe operation. One of the potentially dangerous

operations with other bio-ethanol burners is spilling during filling. The SF-

xxx-x series has got an automated filler system, which ensures no fuel is

spilled, and the tank is not over-filled.

Since there are no toxic waste products, the burner can be installed

anywhere, without requiring an exhaust system. And because it can be

easily filled by means of a jerry can, it also doesn’t require a gas line either.

This gives you optimal flexibility for placing the burner.

Since any fuel uses oxygen to burn, the bio-ethanol burner also uses

oxygen. If the room would be fully closed, this would mean the oxygen

would be used up. Therefore, some ventilation needs to be in place: either

through a window, through a mechanical ventilation system or by other

means. In the unlikely case that not enough oxygen can be provided, the

burner will shut itself down because it has got a built-in CO2 safety sensor.

1.3. Where to use

The SF-xxx-x bio-ethanol burner can be placed anywhere where there is

electricity (to power the fuel pump and its control unit). It needs to be

installed in a dry place, with at least 20cm free space to each side, and

50cm free space above the burner. When using it outside, make sure the

burner cannot get wet, and that the power remains connected at all times.

1.4. Features

The SF-xxx-x bio-ethanol burner is available in lengths from 61cm up to

210cm (with custom sizes and more lengths available as customization

option). Its features are listed below:

2. Installation

2.1. Operating conditions

The burner can be operated within the following restrictions:

The environment should be dry (no bathroom, no outdoor usage

unless properly protected against moisture).

Enough fresh air should be available (in very well isolated houses:

ensure ventilation is sufficient).

Avoid heavy airflow (e.g. because of fans) in the room where the

burner is positioned.

The burner will produce heat, but should not be used as the

primary heating system for a building.

Make sure the size of the burner fits the size of the room (see § 1.5

Available models).

2.2. Safety precautions

The following safety precautions should be taken into account:

Use liquid ethanol only.

Keep the burner out of reach of children and pets.

Do not place any items on top of or inside the burner.

Do not leave the burner unattended while burning.

Do not touch the burner while it’s still hot.

Flammable materials, such as curtains and decorations should stay

clear of the fireplace for at least 1 meter.

It’s extremely dangerous to use bio-ethanol car fuel or any other

fuel not developed for bio-ethanol burners.

Refilling the burner is best done with the hose and automatic

filling system. If manually filling, always use a funnel.

Never fill the unit while it’s burning or it’s still hot – allow at least

30 minutes after shutting down the burner for the fuel tray to cool

down.

Spilled ethanol must be removed with an absorbent tissue and

cleaned with water in order to prevent ignition outside the burner

reservoir.

Do not smoke while filling the burner.

Always have a fire extinguisher in the proximity of the fireplace.

Store any fuel containers away from the burner and any other heat

source.

Never try to blow out the flame in order to put it out –this

provides additional oxygen and will only increase the flame.

Do not modify the burner in any way.

2.3. Installation requirements

The bio-ethanol burner should be installed in an environment that meets

the following characteristics:

The burner should be placed horizontally –make sure it is properly

leveled.

Do not install the burner in a bathroom or sleeping room.

Insert the burner into fireproof materials only.

2.4. Mounting options

The burner can be inserted into any non-flammable material, such as

stone, steel or sheet materials specifically developed for high
