Overview
Image-recognition-learning system EZ-CAM (Intelligent Teaching Cam)
The image-recognition-learning system, EZ-CAM enables to proceed immediate
and intensive lecture by adopting the picture image
recognition technology with retaining variety contents
material.
Teachers can collect and produce required materials for the lecture in
advance and utilize them in the class,
and as such learning data base which has been built and re-produced
consolidated lecture material
can be used repeatedly at any time simply, it is an effective system under
the any educational environment which requires mass transmission of
information.
EZ-CAM overcame the
restraint of recognition media
which is the limit of existing recognition-
learning system, and resolved the problem
of contents production.
Consequently it’s the appropriate product for the educational environment which emphasizes

Chapter 1 EzCam feature
1. Product contents
In the standard EzCam(EZ-200) model, EzCam hardware body (camera part, mounting
stand), storage box, users manual and installation CD are provided (Version upgrade is
available through the home page related to the function upgrade within same model)

3. Connecting hardware and computer
1) Install camera onto mounting stand
Screw the mounting bolts of mounting stand clockwise into the nuts of camera bottom
2) Connection EZ Cam with computer
Setting connection driver to the USB port of computer which supports USB2.0, and
use

Chapter 2 EzCam software installation
1. EzCam software installation
Please install EzCam driver and program as following process sequency.
Install EzCam program files
Run installation file in the CD (\EzCam\setup.exe)
Pr”””e””””ss “Next” to start program installation. Click the “Finish” button when it is
displayed in the installation process, then installation is completed with creating
EzCam icon on the desktop.
2. Install EzCam driver
It is executed automatically followed by the completion EzCam program installation,
and for the user’s manual installation, the driver can be installed by executing
installation files in below directory.
(Driver location C:\Program Files\EzCam\CameraDriver\setup.exe)

3. Setting of EzCam driver
After installation of EzCam softwares and drivers, connect EzCam USB cable to the
computer USB port and complete the driver settings of connection port.
1) Driver setting sequence (Automatic search)

Chapter 3 EzCam software functions
1. EzCam program execution
Click the EzCam icon in desktop to execute the image-recognition-learning and
epidiascope function. Please confirm the connection with camera prior to run the
program, so that the program is executed in connection state with camera.
1) Contents of EzCam project
The existing project file directory of EzCam program is made when the program is
stalled, and afterward it can be changed by user. The management of project files is
the top directory of the basic contents management, and it is available to manage
network project or create additional project to connect with other directory(D:\) in the
connected computer.
Multi-users can manage and use learning contents simultaneously through creation
of network project folder. (ex. Create network project \\File server\3rd grade\research activity
by using school file server)
Process of folder creation is ;
Create “3rd grade” folder in the file server,
Execute EzCam in user’s computer
Click the “Create new project” icon
Assign network directory
Enter “Research Activity” for the project name of \\File server\3rd grade”
Click “Yes” to complete directory setting
The process of creating new project in the user’s computer is same as above
process for creating network project except that the creation directory is created in
user’s computer. (The management and utilization of learning contents becomes convenient
trough organizing project files.)

The new project is created when a project name is entered after assigning a directory
of new project creation.
2) Create and manage contents folders
It is the first screen after program loading, also it displays the learning contents
which had been made, and files can be open at the contents folder directory . And
user can create additional contents folder so that contents files can be stored and
managed efficiently.
Select the folder which includes contents image files and change to learning mode
by click of open button, then Image-recognition-learning can be executed.
Contents opening pop-up window is available by click icon in above menu in
learning and editing mode in order to change the location of learning contents folder.
In the installation, the default location of project contents folder is as below.
Default location C:\Program Files\EzCam\Project\Contents
Sample content location C:\Program Files\EzCam\Project\Contents\sample
The sample material is the sample file of EzCam learning, and the recognition-
image is the contents material which is made with the image attached to this
manual.

3) The structure of EzCam program
The picture image is linked with learning material related to recognition for enabling
image-recognition-learning function, and it enables the user centric perceptible
teaching .

Delete source contents (clear link/delete copy - confirmation window)
Available to capture contents image and choose external image file.
(Produce contents link using existing image information)

Recognized and saved image is set as default, and additional image change in the
recognition activating image window is available.
