1. GENERAL
DYNASET hydraulic variable discplacement pumps are designed for open circuits in
mobile hydraulics and works according to the swash plate principle.
Features:
• Optimized power-to-weight ratio
• High self-suction speed
Wide range of applications:
• Machines for forestry and agricultural purposes
• Cranes and lifting equipment
• Trucks
DYNASET hydraulic variable discplacement pumps operate according to the bent axis
principle. They adjust the geometric delivery volume from zero to maximum. As a
result they vary the volumetric ow that is provided to the loads.
DYNASET hydraulic pumps can be equiped with a DYNASET LS-0 noise reducing block.
The LS-0 block is optional accessory available by request. The LS-0 block reduces noise
when pump is running freely without load. It increases the eciency and recudes
stress on the base machines engine when the pump is running on idle.
The LS-0 block is installed between hydraulic pump and the pump controller. It is
available for both 12V and 24V systems by request.

2. SAFETY
ATTENTION!
Operator and maintenance personnel must act in compliance with the
laws, regulations and recommendations issued by the local work safety
authorities.
WARNING
HIGH PRESSURE OIL!
Can cause severe injuries.
Always wear appropriate clothing
and safety equipment.
The pressure in hydraulic circuits is considerably high. Therefore the condition of
your equipment are to be kept under constant observation. All couplings, valves
and hoses are to be kept tight and clean. Leaks in the hydraulic system must be
repaired immediately to avoid injuries caused by high pressure and oil blowouts.
WARNING
RISK OF BURNS!
Parts of the unit, oil, and oil filler cap
can be hotter than 80 °C!
Wear personal safety equipment!
ATTENTION!
Before beginning any maintenance, repair or disassembly to the hydraulic
system and DYNASET product, ensure that the system is stopped and
depressurized. Make sure that the system can not start accidentally.
NOTE!
When carrying out any maintenance to DYNASET products keep the
components clean. This is to ensure safe, reliable and longlife operation of
your equipment.
When working with DYNASET products or their accessories, wear appropriate
protective clothing, safety goggles, gloves, ear protection.

5. INSTALLATION
NOTE!
• Install the suction line from oil tank to the pump shortest and straightest possible
way. Avoid tight corner so that the possible air can vaporate from the system. Air
in the oil system can cause noise and cavitation
• Installing the drain line make sure to use the drain port on the pump that is n the
highest position
• When installing the drain line into a other oil tank than DYNASET Oil tank make
sure the drain line is half way between the oil level and the bottom of the oil tank
• Do not install the clutch to the pump's shaft by hitting it
• If you are changing the pump to a existing system the system must be drained
and cleaned before installing the hydraulic pump
• After installation, if the oil flow fluctuates install the 0,8 mm jet to the LS-line
Install the pump through following steps:
1.Ensure the rotation direction. R =clockwise, L = counter-clockwise.
2.Fill the hydraulic pump's casing with filtered oil

3.Install the pump to its place. Make sure that the drain line is above or at least at the
horizontal level with the axel. If the pump is installed drain line being under the
shaft it can damage the pump.
4.Install the pressure (P), drain (Dr), LS- (LS), and the suction (S) lines
5.Install the rest of the system and fill the system with oil.
6.After installing the rest of the system and filling it with oil run the system with idle
speed for 10 min at pressure being under 50 bar.
Bleeding/flushing the system is recommended before the full pressure range is
used.

5.1. ADJUSTING LS-PRESSURE
If your system requires LS-pressure adjusting, adjust the differential LS pressure by the
regulator incorporated in the hydraulic pump.The regulators place may vary between
pump models.
1 = LS-pressure regulator
1. Install pressure gauges to the pressure line (P) from the pump and to the LS-line.
Calculate the LS-pressure from the pressure differentation between the gauges.
Example:
LS-line gauge = 210bar, Pressure line gauge = 230bar
LS-Pressure = 230-210 = 20 bar
2. StarttheengineofyourbasemachineandsetituptotherequiredRPM levelneeded
for yout hydraulic system to operate. Start the hydraulic system.
