This machine has been designed for dierent polishing, nishing, ling and
de-burring applicaons.
The following operaon instrucons are intended for your safety and for
you to get the maximum value in terms of eciency, life expectancy and
ergonomics.

Machine and tool hazards
⚠Starng the machine without the machine cover may cause personal injury.
⚠Starng the machine when changing tool or stroke length may cause personal
injury,
⚠An incorrectly inserted tool may result in the tool slipping out during operaon
and cause personal injury. Before inserng the tool make sure that the shank
dimension is correct. Because of the mul-funconal tool holder it is important
that the chosen tool is ghtened properly and that the speed chosen is not too
high. Avoid using heavier tools and longer stroke length than necessary for the
specic applicaon.
⚠Unintenonal start of the machine may cause injury.
Projecle hazard
✋During lapping or ling, parcles from the working material or tools can become
projecles and cause injuries to eyes or skin. Use approved personal protecve
equipment. Eye protecon is required.
Noise hazard
✋Noise ≤ 75 dB(A) at 7.000 strokes/min. Ear protecon is recommended.

Vibraon hazard
✋Normal and proper use of the machine exposes the operator to potenally
harmful vibraons.
⚠Vibraon overload:
If the machine starts to make a claering sound it has been overloaded by using a
tool that is too heavy in reference to the speed.
The speed must then be reduced immediately.
Otherwise the levels of unwanted vibraons will increase and may cause
permanent damage to the machine and/or the operator.
⚠Never touch moving machine parts or tools. Moving tools or parts of the tool
holder have, when touched, very high levels of vibraon.
Measured vibraon emission values according to ISO 28927-8
✋Vibraon measured at three dierent hand posions. The uncertainty value (K) is
to compensate for variaons in producon.
Hand posion 1: 6,02 m/s² (K = 1,09 m/s²)
Hand posion 2: 5,79 m/s² (K = 1,15 m/s²)
Hand posion 3: 13,37 m/s² (K = 1,82 m/s²)
1Keep in mind:
• higher speed
• longer stroke length
• heavier tools
generate higher levels of vibraons.

• Machines and accessories must only be used for their intended purpose.
• Only qualied and trained personnel may operate or perform maintenance on
the machine.

Fixaon of tools
1. Place the tool (1) in the tool-holder (2)
and ghten the screw (3) to lock the
tool, see Fig. A.
Steering block
The tool-holder can be used in a locked or
in a swiveling mode.
To release the guide block (5):
1. Loosen the screw (4).
2. Pull out the guide block approx. 3 mm.
3. Tighten the screw (4), see Fig. B.
Adjust stroke length
1. Remove the machine cover (6).
2. Use a 3 mm Allen key to loosen the
screw (7) on the adjustable eccentric,
see Fig. C.
3. Set the eccentric part at the desired
stroke length and lock it with the
screw (7).
4. Reassemble the machine cover (6).
The tool-holder extension pipe
The machine is delivered with a tool-
holder extension pipe (8). The extension
pipe facilitates the use of longer tools,
allowing the tool to be guided close to
the working surface without touching any
moving tools or machine parts with your
ngers.
Cut the extension pipe to the desired
length to suit dierent tools.
Assemble the extension pipe
1. Push the pipe (8) onto the tool-holder.
2. Make sure that it is locked in posion
by means of the plasc knobs on the
tool-holder, see Fig. D.
3. Remove the extension pipe by turning
it slightly and pull it o.
