safety warnings
For your continued safety and to reduce the risk of injury or electric
shock, please follow all the safety precautions listed below.
• Read all instructions carefully before using the unit and keep them
for future reference.
• Retain the manual. If you pass the unit onto a third party, make
sure to include this manual.
• This appliance is intended for indoor household use and similar
applications such as:
– farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential
type environment;
– bed and breakfast type environment;
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working
environment;
– catering and similar non-retail applications.
• Ensure that the plug is easily accessible to enable disconnection
from the mains supply.
• If the mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or a qualified technician in order to
avoid a hazard.
• Choose a location for your unit away from heat sources such as
radiators or fires as refrigerant and vesicant are burnable.
• The unit must be manoeuvred by a minimum of 2 persons.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
• Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload
refrigerating appliances.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the unit.
• If your unit is fitted with a lock to prevent children being trapped
inside, keep the key out of reach and not in the vicinity of the unit.

• Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a
flammable propellant in this appliance.
• Do not store bottles or glass containers in the freezer
compartment. Contents can expand when frozen (fizzy
drinks) which may break the bottle and damage your freezer
compartment. (If applicable)
• To avoid contamination of food, pay attention to the following:
- opening the door for long periods can cause a significant
increase of the temperature in the compartments of the
appliance;
- clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and
accessible drainage systems;
- clean water tanks if they have not been used for 48 hours; flush
the water system connected to a water supply if water has not
been drawn for 5 days;
- store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator
so that it is not in contact with or drip onto other food;
- two-star frozen-food compartments are suitable for storing pre-
frozen food, storing or making ice-cream and making ice cubes;
- one-, two- and three-star compartments are not suitable for the
freezing of fresh food;
- if the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch
off, defrost, clean, dry and leave the door open to prevent mould
developing within the appliance.

SERVICING OF REPAIRS WHICH INVOLVE THE REMOVAL
OF COVERS.

The table below contains general guidelines on the storage of food in
the refrigerator.

Fridge door • Foods with natural preservatives, such
as jams, juices, drinks, condiments.

placed separately in the crisper bin.
• Do not store bananas, onions,

fruit, frozen baked goods.

WARNING
• Keep ventilation openings in the unit enclosure or in the built-
in structure clear of obstructions.
• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate
the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage
compartments of the unit, unless they are of the type
recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit (The refrigerant is a
very environmental-friendly gas but is also combustible. Take
care when transporting or moving the unit to ensure that the
refrigeration circuit is not damaged. In the event of damage
avoid naked flames or ignition sources and ventilate the room
in which the unit is placed for a few minutes.)
• When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not
trapped or damaged.
• Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable
power supplies at the rear of the appliance.

Για τη συνεχή ασφάλειά σας και τη μείωση του κινδύνου πρόκλησης
τραυματισμού ή ηλεκτροπληξίας, ακολουθήστε όλες τις προφυλάξεις
ασφαλείας που αναφέρονται παρακάτω.
• Διαβάστε όλες τις οδηγίες προσεκτικά πριν τη χρήση της μονάδας
και κρατήστε τις για λόγους μελλοντικής αναφοράς.
• Κρατήστε το εγχειρίδιο. Εάν μεταβιβάσετε τη μονάδα σε τρίτους,
βεβαιωθείτε ότι το εγχειρίδιο συμπεριλαμβάνεται.
• Αυτή η συσκευή προορίζεται για εσωτερική χρήση σε οικιακό
περιβάλλον και παρόμοιες χρήσεις όπως:
– σε φάρμες και από πελάτες σε ξενοδοχεία, πανδοχεία και άλλα
περιβάλλοντα οικιστικού τύπου,
– σε περιβάλλοντα τύπου bed & breakfast (με πρωινό),
– σε καταστήματα, γραφεία ή άλλα περιβάλλοντα εργασίας με
χώρους με εξοπλισμό κουζίνας,
– για χρήσεις σε υπηρεσίες ομαδικής εστίασης και παρόμοιες

• Βεβαιωθείτε ότι το βύσμα είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμο για
αποσύνδεση από την τροφοδοσία κύριου δικτύου.
• Εάν το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας από το κύριο δίκτυο καταστραφεί,
πρέπει να αντικατασταθεί από τον κατασκευαστή, τον πράκτορα
σέρβις ή τον εξειδικευμένο τεχνικό για την αποφυγή πρόκλησης
κινδύνων.
• Επιλέξτε για τη μονάδα σας μια θέση μακριά από πηγές
θερμότητας όπως θερμαντικά σώματα ή φλόγες καθώς το ψυκτικό
και η φλυκταινογόνος ουσία είναι εύφλεκτες.
• Η μετακίνηση της μονάδας γίνεται από τουλάχιστον 2 άτομα.
• Αυτή η συσκευή μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί από παιδιά ηλικίας
από 8 ετών και άνω και από άτομα με μειωμένες σωματικές,
αισθητήριες ή διανοητικές ικανότητες ή έλλειψη εμπειρίας και
γνώσης, εφόσον επιβλέπονται ή τους έχουν δοθεί οδηγίες σχετικά
με τη χρήση της συσκευής με ασφαλή τρόπο και κατανοούν τις
κινδύνους που εμπλέκονται. Τα παιδιά δεν πρέπει να παίζουν με
τη συσκευή. Ο καθαρισμός και η συντήρηση από το χρήστη δεν θα
πρέπει να γίνεται από παιδιά χωρίς επιτήρηση.
• Τα παιδιά ηλικίας από 3 έως 8 ετών επιτρέπεται να τοποθετούν
τρόφιμα σε συσκευές ψύξης.
• Τα παιδιά πρέπει να επιβλέπονται για να διασφαλιστεί ότι δεν
παίζουν με τη μονάδα.

• Εάν η μονάδα σας διαθέτει κλειδαριά για να αποφευχθεί το
ενδεχόμενο να παγιδευτούν παιδιά στο εσωτερικό τους, φυλάξτε το
κλειδί σε περιβάλλον που δεν έχουν πρόσβαση και όχι κοντά στη
μονάδα.
• Μην αποθηκεύετε εκρηκτικές ουσίες όπως δοχεία αερολυμάτων με
εύφλεκτο προωθητικό μέσο σε αυτή τη συσκευή.
• Μην αποθηκεύετε φιάλες ή γυάλινους περιέκτες στο θάλαμο
κατάψυξης. Τα περιεχόμενα μπορούν να διασταλούν όταν
καταψύχονται (αναψυκτικά), προκαλώντας θραύση της φιάλης και
βλάβη στο θάλαμο κατάψυξης. (εάν διατίθεται)
• Για να αποφύγετε την αλλοίωση των τροφίμων, δώστε προσοχή
στα ακόλουθα:
- Το άνοιγμα της πόρτας για μεγάλες χρονικές περιόδους μπορεί
να προκαλέσει σημαντική αύξηση της θερμοκρασίας στα
διαμερίσματα της συσκευής.
- Καθαρίζετε τακτικά τις επιφάνειες που μπορούν να έρθουν
σε επαφή με τρόφιμα, καθώς και τα προσβάσιμα συστήματα
αποστράγγισης.
- Καθαρίζετε τις δεξαμενές εάν δεν έχουν χρησιμοποιηθεί για
48 ώρες. Ξεπλύνετε το σύστημα ύδρευσης που συνδέεται με
παροχή νερού εάν δεν έχει αντληθεί νερό για 5 ημέρες.
- Αποθηκεύετε το ωμό κρέας και τα ψάρια σε κατάλληλα δοχεία στο
ψυγείο, έτσι ώστε να μην έρχονται σε επαφή ή να μην στάζουν
σε άλλα τρόφιμα.
- Τα διαμερίσματα κατάψυξης δύο αστέρων είναι κατάλληλα για την
αποθήκευση προ-κατεψυγμένων τροφίμων, την αποθήκευση ή
την παρασκευή παγωτού και την κατασκευή παγοκύβων.
- Τα διαμερίσματα ενός, δύο και τριών αστέρων δεν είναι
κατάλληλα για την κατάψυξη νωπών τροφίμων.
- Εάν η συσκευή πρόκειται να παραμείνει άδεια για μεγάλο
χρονικό διάστημα, απενεργοποιήστε, αποψύξτε, καθαρίστε και
στεγνώστε την και αφήστε την πόρτα ανοικτή για να αποφύγετε
την ανάπτυξη μούχλας μέσα στη συσκευή.
