Description
This splitter by Delock receives a DisplayPort signal from a PC or laptop and
splits it to two connected displays. Thereby one DisplayPort connection can be
used to operate two DisplayPort monitors. Both outputs are dual-mode capable
(DP++), so that HDMI or DVI monitors can be connected with suitable adapters.
Note
The product is a Multi-Stream Transport (MST) hub and supports the extended
desktop conguration of DisplayPort 1.2. When Mac OS is used, the same
image is displayed on both ports (mirrored), it is not possible to use both ports
independently of each other.

Installation
1. Ensure your computer system and monitors are powered off.
2. Connect the DisplayPort splitter to your video source.
3. Connect the outputs of the splitter to the monitors with optional DisplayPort
cables. You can also use suitable DisplayPort adapter cables to connect
HDMI, DVI, or VGA monitors.
4. Power on your monitors followed by your computer system.
Note
• The splitter is a Multi-Stream Transport (MST) hub and supports extended
desktop conguration. MST mode is only available on DisplayPort 1.2 graphics
cards. The splitter will show the same image (mirror) on both outputs if a
graphics card with DisplayPort 1.1 is used.
• A single DisplayPort 1.2 connection has a limit amount of bandwidth. This limits
the number of displays that can be connected through an MST hub depending
on the displays resolution, timing and refresh rate. Please see below for
bandwidth usage of different resolutions:
1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz uses 22 %, 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz uses 30 % bandwidth
2560 x 1440 @ 60 Hz uses 35 %, 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz uses 38 % bandwidth
3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz uses 43 %, 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz uses 95 % bandwidth
• The cables used for the connections must meet DisplayPort 1.2 standard
specication. Please use short length and high-quality DisplayPort cables,
especially for higher resolutions.

Installation
1. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Ihr Computersystem und die Monitore
ausgeschaltet sind.
2. Schließen Sie den DisplayPort Splitter an die Videoquelle an.
3. Schließen Sie den Ausgang des Splitters an die Monitore mit optionalen

erweiterte Desktop Konguration. Der MST Modus ist nur an DisplayPort 1.2
Grakkarten verfügbar. Der Splitter zeigt das gleiche Bild (Spiegeln) an beiden
Ausgängen an, wenn eine Grakkarte mit DisplayPort 1.1 verwendet wird.
• Eine einzelne DisplayPort 1.2 Verbindung hat eine begrenzte Bandbreite. Dies
schränkt die Anzahl der verwendbaren Bildschirme ein, die über einen MST
Hub angeschlossen werden können, je nach Bildschirmauösung, Timing und

Installation

la même image (miroir) sur les deux sorties si une carte graphique avec
DisplayPort 1.1 est utilisée.
• Une seule connexion DisplayPort 1.2 dispose d'une quantité limitée de bande
passante. Cela limite le nombre d'écrans pouvant être connectés via un
concentrateur MST en fonction de la résolution, de la synchronisation et du taux
de rafraîchissement des écrans. Veuillez consulter ce qui suit pour connaître
l'utilisation de bande passante des différentes résolutions :

Instalación

Instalace
