We take quality very seriously. This is why all of our products come with a one year warranty from the original purchase date

Warranty Terms
1. Defender products are guaranteed for a period of one year from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship
and materials. This warranty includes but is not limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the purchase price at
Defender’s option.
2. This warranty becomes void if the product shows evidence of having been misused, mishandled or tampered with
contrary to the applicable instruction manual.
3. Routine cleaning, normal cosmetic and mechanical wear and tear are not covered under the terms of this warranty.
4. The warranty expressly provided for herein is the sole warranty provided in connection with the product itself and
no other warranty, expressed or implied is provided. Defender assumes no responsibilities for any other claims not
specically mentioned in this warranty.
5. This warranty does not cover the shipping cost, insurance or any other incidental charges.
6. You MUST call Defender before sending any product back for repair. You will be sent a Return Authorization form with
return instructions. When returning the product for warranty service, please pack it carefully in the original box with all
supplied accessories, and enclose a copy of your original receipt, a completed RA form, and a brief explanation of the
problem (include RA #).
7. This warranty is valid only in Canada and the continental U.S.
8. This warranty cannot be re-issued.
9. Tearing the tamper-proof sticker on the DVR case will void the product warranty.

Record up to 240 Days
This DVR utilizes the advanced Seagate SV35 hard drive. The 160GB hard drive was designed by Seagate for optimization with DVRs to ensure secure
and consistent recording for years.
Stylishly Integrated 19" LCD
The LCD prole is amazingly slim. View crisp clean video on the 19" screen. The SENTINEL10 instantly transforms your viewing space into a vibrant,
clutter-free, security base station.
View Video Online w/ No Service Fees (Supports DDNS)
View live or recorded footage from any computer with Internet Explorer, anywhere in the world (other web browsers are not compatible). This unit
also features auto time syncing, which makes the time on your video footage consistent with the ocial time.
Email Alerts
This system helps keep you notied of events happening in your monitoring location. You can set the unit to automatically send alerts to your
email inbox whenever motion is detected or when cameras lose power. Up to 7 dierent email addresses can receive these alerts asset interval or
immediately after events happen
USB/DVD/CD Backup
You can transfer video footage to a USB ash drive for archiving or osite viewing. You can also archive/transfer your footage using an external USB
DVD/CD writer.
Auto-Start Recording
The DVR instantly begins recording when you rst power it on. It will resume recording after any power loss, providing you with a stable, worry-free
security system.

Advanced Motion Activated Recording
You can set the DVR to record only when motion is detected and alert you with an audible alarm. You can even set individual cameras to detect
motion, and only video from those cameras will be recorded. Motion Mask allows you to block areas with constant motion, ensuring that only
suspicious activity is recorded.
Covert Mode
This system oers a covert way of recording so you have the option to keep your camera locations discreet. The DVR will record footage, but the
camera channel will display a blue screen while in live display. This option is customizable for each camera to meet your needs.
Triplex DVR
This DVR gives you the ability to play, record, and remotely view at the same time. Seamlessly play back your video footage or enter menu screens
while recording and viewing over the Internet.
Pre-Event Recording Time
Never miss the events that cause the DVR to begin recording. When the system is in motion activated recording mode, you can set the DVR to store
up to 5 seconds of video footage before the movement actually happened, ensuring that you don’t miss anything.
Password Protection
Ensure that only authorized users can change DVR settings or halt recording.
2 Way Internet Communication
This system comes equipped with audio support and allows 2 way communication between the DVR and a remote PC when connected via the
Internet.
Mouse/Remote Control
Navigate the onscreen menu with the included USB mouse and remote control.
24/7 Scheduled Recording
Set up a weekly recording schedule, and specify which hours of the day you want to continuously record, motion detect record, or not record at all.
All video is time and date stamped for easy searching and playback.
Search by Date, Time, or Event
Finding your recorded footage is easy. Simply choose the desired date and time range, and the requested video clips will appear. Clips are also
labeled by event, which makes it easy to nd footage that was captured by motion detection.
Electroluminescent DVR Control Panel
The buttons on the DVR are backlit blue, allowing you to easily operate the system in the dark.
