3. Before Use
✽Wiring Lobby phone and Security Station Phone :
1. For 481 System (Coaxial Cable) : Common 8 wires that are 3 channels + 1
channel with "Balance Type".
2. For Gateview System (UTP Cable) : Common 4 wires with 1 channel.
✽Wiring Lobby phone and Household unit monitor :
1. For 481 System (Coaxial Cable) : Common 4 wires that include audio and video
via coaxial cable.
2. Gateview System (UTP Cable) : Common 8 wires (Common 6 wires + Video 2
wires) that include audio and video via UTP cable and the video shall be
connected by "in/out" method.
✽Any short-circuits and/or disconnection may cause product damage. Please check
the wires before installation.
✽It is recommended to install one each of Lobby phone, Security Station phone,
and Household unit monitor to check the functionality before initiating overall
products installations.
✽RF Card Keys may be registered up to 2,048 keys (if not connected to computer)
✽Failing Management Password, Building Password, and Unit Password more than
3times will cause an automatic notice to Security Station. Attempts to initiate an
entrance with unregistered RF Card Key will cause an automatic notice to Security
Station as well.

When power is initially turned on, please be sure that none of the buttons are
pressed.

✽Initial LCD Display (when power on)
✽RF/ID Receiver ③(Optional)
For an access by RF Card, when RF Card is brought nearby the OLED display
shows a message, "Access granted", with an icon and the door is open.
✽Call Button ⑩(E : Enter)
To call a household unit
✽Program button ⑪(P : Program)
To access the program

To cancel a process or function being progressed.
✽Reset button ⑮
To reset the password for security center or managing office.
If the Building Password (4-2) or Management Password (4-1) is
lost, press the "Reset Button"(⑮) located on the back of the
product to reset the Password (Passwords will be set as factory
default settings). Press the button for 3 seconds with power on.
✽Security Paging Button ⑨(G : Guard)
To call a security station when an interphone is installed at the security center.
✽Electronic Key Button ⑦(K : Key)
For an access to the entrance by password. (Only if the access by password is
set to be enabled)

✽Program Button ⑪
In standby mode, if the button is pressed for 5 seconds, the voice message of
greetings will be heard with below information of product settings on the display.

2) Lobby Number: XXXX-XXXX ex) 0101-0901
3) Unit paging: x wire method ex) 4 wire method
4) Camera Impedance: low or high
5) Entrance Access Information is being stored at SecuMAX.
6) RF Reader 13.56MHz
✽#6 message will show as RF Card has been read at least more than once and will
be initialized when power is off.
✽Proximity Sensor ⑧
The proximity sensor located under the touch pad that detects an object within 1
meter and triggers LCD and Keypad lighting to be turn on.
✽Please read below instructions before use
1) If you hear "beep beep beep..." during any program modes, please restart from
the beginning. The beep sounds for improper process.
2) If password is forgotten,
2-1) Password for any household :
Use the identifying household password function (6-1) to confirm the password
(methods to confirm password shall be requested to the Management office or
Security center).
2-2) Password for any building:
Reset the password by using Management password
2-3) Password for Management
Press "Reset Button".
The password will be reset to factory default.
3) Deleting All RF Card Keys function in "8-5" shall ONLY be used when the
product is initially installed.

5. Various Password Types
5-1. Password for the Management Office ("Management Password")
A password for the Manager
Factory default for the Manager Password is 4321.
5-2. Password for any buildings ("Building Password")
A common password for a corresponding building.
Factory default for the Building Password is 1234.
5-3. Password for any household units "Unit Password")
A password for each household unit can be set.
Factory default for the Unit Password is 1234.
