Safety
• The deep fryer is intended only for use indoors.
• Never leave the deep fryer unattended when using.
• Never attempt to put out an oil re with water. Pull out the power lead and suffocate the re
with a re blanket.
• Make sure that the voltage used is suitable for the appliance. Refer to the manufacturer’s
specication label.
• Use only an earthed power point for this appliance.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning or during periods of non-use.
• To avoid electric shock, protect the appliance and its power lead from moisture or wetness.
• Never lower the deep fryer into water or other liquids.
• Never lay the power lead over hot surfaces or sharp edges and corners.
• Do not pull out the contact by directly pulling on the power lead, pull the plug directly.
• When higher temperatures are reached during use, be careful not to touch the hot parts of the
fryer with your hands. Never touch other parts of the fryer other than the handle.
• The power lead should be regularly checked. Never use the deep fryer if the power lead or plug
is damaged.
• The power lead be changed if damaged in order to avoid the risk of chock or re, but this
should only be done by the manufacturer, qualied service station or professional.
• Never let children use the appliance without adult supervision.
• Make sure the appliance’s parts are correctly assembled before use.
• Never use the appliance in the vicinity of other sources of heat e.g. the cooker.
• The appliance is for indoor use only.
• Do not move the deep fryer when it is in use or when it contains hot oil.
• Never overll the deep fryer.
• Never use the fryer without oil.
• Never use other accessories other than the ones included.
• Never use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.

Deep Fryer’s parts
1. Viewing window Open the lid by lifting up on the two side tabs on the lid.
2. Container Container for frying oil.
3. Indicator lamp Lights up red when warming and turns off when the desired
temperature is reached.
4. Temperature control knob Adjusts the temperature. Adjust according to the food
being cooked.
5. Frying basket Holds the food to be fried.
6. Handle Used to lift the basket. Pull straight up from the oil container.

Getting Started
1. Unpack the fryer and make sure to remove all packing and protective material.
2. Wash the frying basket and container before using.
3. First lift the basket from the container, and then carefully lift the container straight up
from the fryer.
4. Wash both the basket and the fryer in warm water.
5. The container and basket can be rinsed in water. The fryer itself can never be submerged or
rinsed with water. Dry only with paper towels or damp cloth. Note: The fryer’s parts should not
be put in the dishwasher.
6. Replace the container and frying basket.
7. Mount the lid onto the fryer’s hinge tting by holding the lid vertically and carefully tting it into
the fryer’s hinge tting. Make sure that the lid is able to shut properly.
Use
1. First, follow the instructions in the “Getting Started”
section.
2. Lift out the frying basket (5) from the fryer and ll the
container (2) with frying oil (max. 1.5 litres) of good
quality and recommended for frying.
Note: It is important that the amount of frying oil
lies between the MIN and MAX markings in the oil
container. Never overfill the oil container.
3. Close the lid (1) and connect the power lead to an earthed power point.
4. Set the thermostat (4) to the desired temperature. The indicator lamp (3) lights up.
Refer to the table for times and temperatures for different types of food.
5. The indicator light will shut off when the oil reaches the desired temperature.
The oil needs about 10-15 min. to reach operating temperature.
6. Fill the frying basket with the food that you wish to be fried (being careful not to overll). Lower
the basket into the container, close the lid and fry for the appropriate amount of time according
to a recipe or the cooking guide table.
7. When frying is nished, open the lid and lift out the frying basket. Hang the basket on the edge
of the container (with the help of the holder on basket) and let the oil run off approx. 20 sec.
before lifting it completely out of the fryer and taking out the food.
8. Adjust the amount of oil in relation to the amount of food to be fried before using the fryer
for a second time.
9. Turn off the fryer and pull out the plug immediately after use.

Tip:
Select the temperature in relation to type of food being fried. Food that has already been
pre-cooked does not need to be cooked as long as raw ingredients.
Care and maintenance
1. Pull out the power plug and make sure that the oil has cooled (1-2 hours after use) before cleaning.
2. First lift the basket from the container, and then carefully lift the container from the fryer.
3. Empty the rest of the used oil in an appropriate container. The oil can be ltered and re-used
but should be changed after 5-6 times or about 2 weeks if unused. Never pour oil down the
drain or onto land or into watercourses. Take any used oil to your local recycling station.
4. Wash both the basket and the fryer in warm water. The fryer itself can never be submerged
or rinsed with water. Dry only with paper towels or a damp cloth.
5. The exterior of the fryer can be wiped dry with a slightly moistened cloth.
6. Make sure that the fryer and its parts are completely dry before using again.
Note: Never lower the deep fryer into water or other liquids.
Cleaning the lid
1. Remove the lid from the fryer by lifting it up and carefully pulling it straight up out of the hinges.
2. Wash the lid in warm water and a small amount of dishwashing liquid. Rinse with
cold water and let dry.
3. Carefully replace the lid back in fryer’s hinge tting.
Cleaning the lter
1. Open the lter holder on the fryer’s lid by pushing in the opening tab and lifting simultaneously.
2. Remove the lter and clean with warm soapy water. Let the fryer air dry.
3. Clean the inside of the lter holder with a moistened cloth and then dry it off.
4. Return the lter to the lter holder with the white innermost part rst (towards the container)
and the black lter lying over.
5. Replace the lter holder’s cover.
Filtering the oil
1. Empty the cooled oil in a bucket or other suitable container.
2. Filter the oil through e.g. a coffee lter.
Storage
Make sure that the fryer has cooled completely before moving it.
Store the fryer in a dry location and away from the reach of children.

Troubleshooting guide
Fault Possible Cause Solution
The fryer has an unpleasant
smell.

Säkerhet
• Fritösen är endast avsedd för hushållsbruk.
• Lämna aldrig fritösen utan tillsyn när den används.
• Försök aldrig släcka antänd olja med vatten. Dra ur nätsladden och kväv elden med en
brandlt.
• Kontrollera att rätt nätspänning används mot vad apparaten är avsedd för.
