8570 and 8571 Remote control installation handbook 1-1
1 About this handbook
The 8570/8571 remote control system is used to control a
remotely sited transceiver. This handbook explains how to
install the system. It assumes that you already know how to
operate the transceiver and power supply, which are supplied
separately.
The handbook contains seven chapters:
Chapter 2 describes the main features of the 8570 and 8571
remote control system, and the various ways of setting up the
remote control system
Chapter 3 describes how to install and set up the remote
control system.
Chapter 4 describes how to set up and use ancilliary
equipment.
Chapter 5 contains information about accessories.
Chapter 6 describes setup functions and operations that are
infrequently used.
Chapter 7 contains specifications and a list of error or
warning messages.
