Thank you for purchasing the Cobra Bluetooth®Over the
Head Headset CBTH1. Your Cobra CBTH1 is a Bluetooth®
wireless technology device that enables a cable free
connection between your Bluetooth®wireless technology
headset and Bluetooth®wireless technology enabled handset.
2. Package List
Please inspect your packaging contents and refer to the

4. Charging the Headset
CBTH1includesarechargeablebuilt-inLithiumPolymer
battery.IMPORTANT:Forrsttimeuse,chargetheheadset
for at least 4 hours before pairing.
1.InserttheUSBchargingcableintothechargingjackport
located at the bottom of the headset.
2.PlugotherendofUSBchargingcableintothehomecharger.
3. Plug home charger into a working electrical wall outlet.
4. During charging the indicator will glow a steady red light
5.Whenchargingiscomplete(90-120minutes),theindicator
lightwillturnofforashred.
NOTE:
●Donotattempttouseheadsetwhilecharging
●OnlyusethesuppliedchargersororiginalCobraproductsto
charge the headset
●Whenheadsetbatterychargeislow,theindicatorlightwill
ashred.
●Donotchargetheheadsetformorethan24hours
●Rechargeheadsetonlywithinatemperaturerangeof14oFto

5. Power On/Off
1.Topoweron,pressandholdthemulti-functionbuttonfor4+
seconds,thepowerwillturnonaftertheindicatorashesa
bluelight3times(thebluelightwillcontinouslyashevery

3 seconds).
2.Topoweroff,pressandholdthemulti-functionbuttonfor4+
secondsuntilyouhear3beepsandyouseetheindicatorash
red 3 times.
6. Pairing the Headset
IMPORTANT:YourCobraBluetooth®headset and your
Bluetooth® wireless technology enabled phone or other
Bluetooth®wirelesstechnologydevice,mustbe“paired”
togetherbeforersttimeuse.
1.EnsuretheHeadsetisoff(noashingindicatorlight).
2. Press and hold the multi function button for 5 seconds until
theindicatorlightalternatesblueandredashes(alternating
light indicates that headset is in pairing mode).
3. Ensure your mobile phone has the Bluetooth®wireless
technology function and start the Bluetooth®wireless
technology new device searching function. Please follow the
instructions of your mobile phone to proceed the operation.
4. Activate the Bluetooth®“discovery”functioninthemobile
phone or other Bluetooth®device. Example: Menu/
Bluetooth®/addnewdevice.(Seephonemanualforspecic
Bluetooth®wireless technology pairing instructions.)
6. When Bluetooth®wirelessheadsetisrecognizedbyyour
phone,“CBTH1”willappearinthelistoffounddevices.
7.Scrolltoselectorhighlight“CBTH1”andpressOK
8.Youwillbepromptedtoentertheheadsetpassword“0000”

9.Ifpairingissuccessful,yourheadset’sindicatorwillash
blue.Ifpairingisnotsuccessful,repeatthepairingprocess
starting at step 1
11.Certainphonemodelsmayrequireyoutopress“connect”
or“addtotrusteddevices”(Seephonemanualforspecic
Bluetooth®wireless technology pairing instructions)
10. Your headset is now paired and ready to use.
NOTE:
●Recommendeddistancebetweenphoneandheadsetduring
pairingis1-3feet
●Ifheadsetisnotsuccessfullypairedwithin2minutes,itwill
automatically abandon pairing mode and revert to standby
mode
7. Wearing the Headset
Accordingtoyourpreference,adjusttheheadsetonyourleft

or right ear.
8. Answering Incoming Calls
IMPORTANT:TheworkingrangeoftheBluetooth®Wireless
Headsetis16feetindoorsand16-32feetoutdoors.
1.WaitforHeadsettoringandthenpressthemulti-function
button to answer incoming call.
NOTE:
●IfBluetooth®WirelessHeadsetisoff,Bluetooth®wireless
technology calls must be answer through handset.
9. Refusing Incoming Calls
(ForHandsfreeprolephones)Pressandholdmulti-function
buttonfor2-3secondsuntilbeepsoundisheard.
(ForHeadsetprolephones)Callrejectmustdoneusingthe
phone(Seespecicphoneownersmanual).
10. Ending calls
1.Whentheconversationisover,pressthemulti-function
button to end the call.
11. Voice dialing
IMPORTANT:Yourmobilephoneandcarriermustsupport
this feature and or it must be activated to work properly.
1.Pressthemulti-functionbuttonforlessthan1secondonthe
Headset to activate voice dialing and follow your mobile
phone instructions to proceed with the voice dialing.

12. Redialing
1.Pressthemulti-functionbuttonontheHeadsetfor2~3
seconds until you hear a beep sound to redial the last call.
13. Transferring Calls Between Headset and Handset
1.Totransfercalltophone,pressthevolumeincrease(+)
buttonfor2~3secondsuntilyouhearonebeepsound,then
the call will be transferred to your mobile phone.
2. To transfer call to Bluetooth®Headset,seeyourphone’s
manualforspecialphonesspecicinstructions.
Note:
●YourmobilephonemustsupporttheHandsfreeprole.For
moredetails,pleasecheckthemanualofyourmobilephone.
14. Placing Calls On Hold
IMPORTANT:Yourmobilephoneandcarriermustsupport
this feature and/or it must be activated to work properly.
1.Pressthevolumedecrease(-)buttonfor2~3secondsuntil
youhearonebeepsound,thenthecallwillbeplacedon
hold. The Headset automatically answers a second incoming
call.
2.Totakeacalloffofhold,pressthevolumedecrease(-)
buttonfor2~3secondsuntilyouhearonebeepsound.
