Please read the entire instruction manual before use and save it for future reference.

technical changes to this document. If you should have any questions concerning

Safety
• Do not dismantle or modify the product. Unprotected hazardous voltage
is present on components inside the product case. Contact with these
components may result in fire or electric shock.
• The product is only intended to be used indoors.
• Never expose the product to high temperatures, dusty environment, severe
vibrations, impacts, humidity and moisture.
• The switch is connected to the secondary side and does not cut off
the mains power.
• The standby switch on the product does not isolate the product from
the electrical supply.
• To isolate the product from the supply, disconnect the plug from the wall socket.
The plug of the product must be easily accessible.
• Do not place the product where it may fall into water or some other liquid. Do not
place objects containing liquid, such as a flower vase or a drink, on the product.
• Do not cover the product. The product requires sufficient ventilation to prevent
it overheating.
• Do not mistreat the mains lead. Never use the mains lead to carry the product.
Do not pull on the lead to unplug the product; grip the plug instead. Make sure
that the mains lead does not come into contact with heat or sharp edges and
that it is not crushed.
• If there is lightning or if the product is to be unused for a long time, unplug it
from the mains.
• Protect your hearing. Listening with the volume set too high for a long time
may result in permanent damage to your hearing.
• Only qualified service personnel may repair the product.

Changing the battery in the remote control
1. Turn the cover on the back of the remote control clockwise.
2. Open the cover and carefully remove the battery.
3. Install a new battery (CR 2025) and close the cover by turning it anticlockwise.
Installation
1. Connect the right and left loudspeaker to their respective jacks, marked
R-right/L-left.
2. Connect the subwoofer to its jack, marked SW. For optimum sound reproduction
the subwoofer should be on the floor.
3. Connect a suitable audio source to INPUT 1 and/or an additional audio source to
the 3.5 mm audio jack on the front of the amplifier.
4. Connect the mains lead to a 230 V wall socket.

Use
1. Turn down all volume controls.
2. Press the ON/OFF button on the top of the amplifier.
3. Start a connected audio source.
4. Slowly turn up the volume to the required level.
NOTE: The volume control can be pressed to choose INPUT 1 or the 3.5 mm audio
input on the front of the amplifier or wireless audio transmission.
Using wireless transmission
1. Connect the USB transmitter to the computer. Windows will detect the “SYNIC
wireless audio” transmitter, install the necessary drivers and transmit the audio
via the transmitter.
2. Play a music file on the computer.
3. Press the button on the transmitter to activate wireless music transmission.
An LED flashes on the transmitter.
4. Press the wireless music transmission activation button (11) on the back of
the amplifier. An LED flashes on the front of the amplifier. The LEDs flash rapidly
while contact is being established and slowly when it has been established.
When music is being played, the LEDs are lit with a steady light.
5. Choose wireless music transmission on the remote control or press the volume
control until the blue LED (5) on the front of the amplifier lights up.
6. Slowly turn up the volume to the required level.
NOTE: You only need to press the wireless transmission button once. When contact
has been established it remains active. Wireless transmission only needs to be
re-activated if the operating system of the computer is changed or re-installed.
Points worth bearing in mind!
• Other wireless equipment operating on the same frequency band may
reduce the range of the product.
• The range of all wireless equipment is affected by obstacles between
the transmitter and the receiver (a concrete wall reduces the signal far
more than a plasterboard partition, for example).
If you are having problems with the operation of the system,
try the following solutions
• Switch off any other wireless equipment to check whether it could be causing
the problem.
• Move the wireless equipment and/or reduce the distance, and reduce the num-
ber of obstacles (walls, furniture, etc.) between the transmitter and the receiver.

Care and maintenance
• Clean the product with a dry cloth or a cloth moistened with a mild cleaning agent.
• Never spray the product or apply any form of liquid to it.
• Never use strong cleaning agents or solvents.
Troubleshooting chart
No sound. • Check that the volume is turned up.
• Check that the audio source is working
and supplying an audio signal.
• Check all loudspeaker cables.
One or more loud-
speakers is/are silent.
• Check the cables and their connections.
Scratching sounds
when you turn the
volume control.
• This is due to dust in the volume control. Switch off
the amplifier and turn the volume control rapidly up
and down to remove the dust.
Poor/distorted
sound.
• The audio file you are playing may be damaged.
Try another file.
• Use audio files above 192 kbps for optimum
sound reproduction.
Waste management
When the time comes to dispose of the product, do so in accordance with
local regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed, ask your local authority.
