connect

touchpad

portable's
PS/2
mouseport

serial-PS/2

portable

the
rectangular
serial

the
PS/2
ports
for
both
touch
pad
and
keyboard
appear
identical,look
for
an

on
your
portable

switch
the
cables.

Windows.

keyboard

touchpad;

portable
computer's
built-in
pointing
device

installation

touchpad

have
already
installed
Cirque's
driver
and
the
built-in
pointing
device
continues

work

your
touchpad
does
not,
or

touchpad
fails
to

Using
your
touchpad:
Unlike
the
mouse
or
trackball,
Cirque
products
reqUire
little
arm
and
wrist
motion
and
no
pressure,
lowering
the
risk
of
repetitive
stress.

glide
your
finger
across
the
surface

the
pad
to
move
the
cursor
and
tap
to
"click."

Using
your
signature
tool:
The
signing
tool
is
specifically
designed
for
use
with
the
built-in
touchpad
of
your
Input
Center.
To
capture
your
signature
or
note,
double-tap
the
SIGNATURE
icon.
Your
touch
pad
will
react
by
responding
to
what
is
known
as
'1ablef'
or
"absolute"
mode.
Now
glide
the
pen
lightly
over
the
pad
to
position
the
cursor,
then
press
the
tip
down
gently
to
begin
writing.
Note:
You
may
attach
your
signature
tool
to
any
hard
surface
using
the
enclosed
adhesive
clip.

work

connected

computer.
