Prima di lavorare con questa macchina, preparatevi ed addestratevi leggendo con cura que-

sto manuale. È vietato l'uso della macchina a persone non addestrate e non autorizzate.

Manovrate la macchina con cautela su pendenze e rampe, non fate inversioni su pendenze.

Attenzione: questa macchina va usata solo su pendenze inferiori al 2%.

La macchina può causare esplosioni se funziona nelle vicinanze di materiali o vapori infiam-

mabili (carburanti, solventi etc.)

Non operate in presenza di polveri dannose alla salute.

Le riparazioni vanno effettuate solo da personale specializzato.

Le operazioni di manutenzione sono da eseguirsi con la macchina scollegata dalla rete elet-

trica, togliendo la spina dalla presa, per il modello a batteria scollegare il connettore (vedi

Fig. 8).

Durante l'uso fare attenzione ai cavi elettrici di allacciamento alla rete verificando che non

ci siano danni.

Nel caso in cui il cavo sia danneggiato la macchina non può essere usata. In caso di sostituzione

del cavo o spine o giunti, assicurare la protezione da spruzzi d'acqua e la resistenza meccanica.

Nell'uso fare attenzione ad altre persone ed in particolare ai bambini. Per un buon funziona-

mento della macchina utilizzare detergenti non schiumogeni.

Before using this machine, the operator should be prepared and adequately instructed by careful-

ly reading this manual. This machine should not be used by untrained and unauthorized persons.

Maneuver the machine with caution on slopes and ramps. Do not make U-turns on ramps. Do

not park the machine on a slope. Caution: this machine should only be used on inclines of less

than 2%.

This machine could cause an explosion if used near inflammable materials or fumes (fuel,

solvents, etc.).

Do not operate this machine in the presence of dusts or powders which constitute a health

hazard.

Any repair work should only be carried out by specialized staff.

During all maintenance operations the machine should be disconnected from the electricity sup-

ply, by removing the cable from the socket, for the battery machine disconnect the connector

see Fig. 8.

During use, pay particular attention to the electrical connection cables in order to avoid

crushing or tearing.

This is especially important when using the rotating brushes. Periodically check the electrical sup-

ply cable for damage. In the event that the cable is damaged, the machine cannot be used. If the

cable, plugs or joints need to be replaced, check they are protected from water splashes as well

as their mechanical resistance. During use, be careful of other people, in particular children. For

good machine operation, use non-foamy detergents.

Prima di tutto è necessario

aspirare la polvere dai canali

della scala. Per effettuare questa

operazione occorre seguire le

seguenti indicazioni. Inserire un

sacchetto filtro di carta nel

contenitore (fig.1), chiudere il

contenitore (fig.2). Introdurre il

tubo flessibile (A) nel

bocchettone (1). Introdurre, poi, il

tubo flessibile (B) nel

bocchettone (2). In questa

condizione tutta la polvere

aspirata verrà trattenuta nel

sacco filtro. Quando questo sarà

pieno, andrà sostituito con un

nuovo sacchetto.

Per velocizzare l’operazione di

pulizia a secco oppure

successivamente quella di

lavaggio, è possibile collegare un

aspiratore di grande potenza. In

questo caso collegare all’interno

della macchina il tubo flessibile

Si raccomanda di procedere con

la pulizia a secco da ambo i lati

della scala fino a quando si è

sicuri che nei canali non vi sia

più polvere.

A fine operazione collegare

l’accessorio manuale al

bocchettone (4) ed il tubo flex (A)

al raccordo (4) ed aspirare tutti i

residui rimasti vedi (fig.4). Una

pulizia a fondo richiederà

l’impiego di più sacchetti filtro

prima di procedere al lavaggio.

Per questa operazione si

consiglia di usare le spazzole in

tynex.

Per la fase successiva del

lavaggio, invece, è opportuno

usare spazzole in nylon 0,25.

Entrambi i tipi sono in dotazione.

First of all it is necessary to

suck up all the dust from the

grooves of escalator. To make

this procedure you have to

follow the above listed

directions. Put a paper filter

bag into the container (fig.1),

close the container (fig.2).

Insert the flexible pipe (A) into

the pipe union (1). Afterwards

insert the flexible pipe (B) into

the pipe union (2). So all the

sucked up dust will be

collected into the paper filter

bag. When it will be full, you

will have to replace it with a

new one.

In order to speed up the dry

cleaning, and afterwards, the

water cleaning, it is possible

to connect a powerful vacuum

cleaner. In this case connect

the flexible pipe (C), situated

inside the machine, at the

pipe union (2) (see “Legenda”)

and insert the plug into the

socket (fig.3).

We remind you to proceed

with the dry cleaning on both

sides of escalator till you’ll be

sure that the dust has been

totally collected from the

grooves.

At the end of this procedure,

connect the manual accessory

to the pipe union (4) and the

flexible pipe (A) at the

connector (4). For a deep

cleaning it is possible the

consumption of several paper

filter bags before the water

cleaning. To effect this last

procedure, we advise you to

use tynex brushes.

For the following washing

procedure, it’s suitable the use

of nylon 0,25 brushes. Both

PER IL LAVAGGIO

Introdurre il tubo A nel

bocchettone 2 oppure se avete

un aspiraliquidi collegare il

tubo C al bocchettone 2

togliendo il filtro di stoffa

all’interno dell’aspiratore.

Preparare la miscela di

lavaggio usando acqua e

detergente per sporco

minerale, al fine di sgrassare le

parti laterali nei punti lubrificati

per lo scorrimento degli

elementi mobili. Procedere

successivamente alla

preparazione di un’altra

miscela con detergente

sgrassante universale.

Riempire il contenitore

dell’acqua pulita (fig.5), aprire il

rubinetto manuale (fig.6),

accendere con l’interruttore

(fig.7) la pompa e regolare la

pressione con il regolatore

(fig.8) fino ad ottenere la giusta

quantità di miscela di lavaggio

evitando di invadere la parte

inferiore della scala (fig.9).

HOW TO PREPARE

THE CLEANING

Connect the pipe A to the

union 2 or, if you have a wet

and dry vacuum cleaner,

connect pipe C to the union 2

removing the filter from the

vacuum. Prepare the

cleaning mixture with water

and a detergent for a mineral

dirt in order to remove the

lubricating oil from the sides

of the escalator. After that,

prepare another mixture with

an universal degreasing

detergent. Fill the clean

water tank (fig.5), open the

manual cock (fig.6), switch

on the pump (fig.7), regulate

the pressure with its

regulator (fig.8), in order to

obtain the right quantity of

mixture, avoiding to distribute

too much liquid to the lower

part of the escalator (fig.9).

Quando abbiamo eseguito

l’avviamento, spegnere la

pompa, chiudere il rubinetto

manuale, ruotare il blocco

spazzole (fig.10), posizionare

la macchina sul lato sinistro

(fig.9). Bloccare la macchina

con il freno (fig.11), procedere

all’avviamento per il lavaggio

come segue:

1 - accendere il motore

spazzole (fig.12)

2 - accendere il motore di

aspirazione (fig.13)

3 - mettere in funzione la scala

mobile con il moto verso la

macchina (fig.14)

4 - aprire il rubinetto manuale

(fig.15)

5 - accendere la pompa con

l’nterruttore (fig.16) ed iniziare

il lavaggio .

Controllare che l’acqua sporca

confluisca nel serbatoio di

recupero. Terminare quando

avrete ottenuto un pulito

soddisfacente. La figura 17

mostra una protezione elettrica

al motore delle spazzole. In

caso di sforzo superiore al

previsto occorre ripristinarlo.

When the machine is switched

on, switch off the pump, close

the manual cock, swing the

brushes unit (fig.10) and

approach the machine to the

right side of the escalators.

Lock the machine with the

brake (fig.11), and go on as

follows to clean:

1 - switch on the brushes

motor (fig.12).

2 - switch on the vacuum

motor (fig.13)

3 -switch on the escalator with

the movement towards the

machine (fig.14)

4 - open the manual cock

(fig.15)

5 - switch on the pump with its

switch (fig.16) and begin the

cleaning.

Check that dirty water flows

into the recovery container. You

can stop cleaning when you

have obtained a satisfactory

cleaning of the escalators.

Figure n. 17 shows an electric

protection for the brushes

motor. In case of an higher

effort of the motor you have to

reset it.

E’ possibile smontare il gruppo

spazzole (fig. 18) dal corpo

macchina. Questo renderà la

Miragescalator più leggera e

facilmente trasportabile, anche

nei luoghi poco accessibili.

In questo caso procedere

come segue: aprire i carter

laterali, liberare il ferma cavo

dal supporto

(fig.19), disconnettere la

morsettiera (fig.20) e, con una

chiave a brucola esagonale di

10, svitare la vite centrale

(fig.21).

La macchina ora peserà kg

65, mentre il gruppo spazzole

pesa kg 31.

Il tempo per questa operazione

sarà di 10 minuti.

In order to transport easily

Miragescalator, also in

inaccessible places, it is

possible to relieve the weight

taking off the brushes system

(fig.18) from the Machine.

Proceed as follows: open the

side casings, remove the

locking cable from the

support (fig.19), disconnect

the terminal board (fig.20)

and, with an hexagonale

valve seat wrench of 10,

unscrew the central screw

(fig.21).

Now the weight of the

Machine is 65 Kgs, while the

weight of the brushes system

is 31 Kgs.

You will make this procedure

in 10 minutes.
