Moisture and heat sources
Donotusethisapparatusnearwater(forexample,sinks,baths,pools)or
exposeittorain,moisture,drippingorsplashingliquids.Donotexpose
theunittohightemperatures,highhumidityordirectsunlight.
Cleaning
Whencleaningthedevice,pleaseuseasoft,drycloth.Neveruse
benzene,paint-thinner,orotherchemicalsonthedevice.
Location
Placethedeviceinstablelocation,soitwillnotfallcausingdamageto
thedeviceorbodilyharm.
Intended use
Theproductmayonlybeusedwiththeoriginalpartsintendedforit.The
productmayonlybeusedinclosedanddryrooms.Theintendeduse
includesadherencetothespeciedinstallationinstructions.The

4.1 USAGE AND POWER (WS-T & WS-R)
1. TheWS-TandWS-Rbeltpacksmaybewornonthebeltfor
personaluse(batteryoperation)ormaybepluggedintoaWS-
CRcradleforuseonatabletopormountingtoawall.
2. Beforeuse,forbestperformancebesuretorechargethe
beltpacksusingeithertheWS-CH4xChargerorWS-CRcradle.

4.2 RECHARGING BELTPACKS WITH THE WS-CH
1. Connectthepoweradapter(WS-CHP)tothewalloutletandthen
totheDCINjackonthebackoftheWS-CH4xCharger.
2. Connectupto4WS-TorWS-Rbeltpackstothecharging
leadsontheWS-CHunit.Thebeltpackswillimmediatelybegin
charging.AredLEDontheWS-CHindicatestheunitischarging.
AgreenLEDindicatesthatchargingiscomplete.
3. Forchargingmorethan4beltpackssimultaneously,upto3WS-
CHchargersmaybedaisy-chainedtorecharge12beltpacks
simultaneously.
NOTE:Thebeltpackmaybeoperatedwhilerecharging.
4.3 RECHARGING A BELTPACK WITH THE WS-CR
1. Connectthepoweradapter(includedwiththeWS-CR)tothe
walloutletandthentotheDCINjackonthebackoftheWS-CR
chargingcradle.
2. InserttheWS-TorWS-RbeltpackintotheWS-CRunituntilit
clicksintoplace.Theunitwillimmediatelybegincharging.Ared
LEDontheWS-CRindicatestheunitischarging.AgreenLED
indicatesthatchargingiscomplete;however,theLEDwillonly
turngreenifthebeltpackpoweristurnedoff.
NOTES:
• Thebeltpackmaybeoperatedwhilerecharging.
• Thecradlecanbehungonthewallusingstandardscrews.
4.4 POWER ON AND OFF (WS-T & WS-R)
1. Toturnonthebeltpackpower,holdthepowerbuttonfor2-3
seconds.TheLCDwilllightupwiththecurrentsettings.The
powerLEDonthetopofthebeltpackwilllightgreen.
2. Toturnoffthebeltpackpower,holdthepowerbuttonfor2-3
seconds.
NOTE:Whenthebatteryisrunninglow,thepowerLEDwillturnred.
4.5 MANUAL CHANNEL SELECTION (WS-T & WS-R)
1. First,turnonthepoweroftheWS-TorWS-Rbeltpackusingthe
poweronprocedureinsection4.4.
2. FortheWS-Ttransmitter,ensurethatthechannelyouwantto
useisnotalreadyinuseandthatthefrequencyisclearofany
interference.
3. Changethechannelonthebeltpack.Todothis,rstensurethat
theCHANNELLOCKswitchonthebackoftheunitisswitched
toOFF .ThenpresstheCHANNELUPorCHANNELDOWN
buttonstochangethechannel.Tomovequicklythroughthe
channellist,holdtheCHANNELUPorCHANNELDOWNbutton.
4. Oncethedesiredchannelisselected,it’ssuggestedtoputthe
CHANNELLOCKswitchintheON positionsothatthechannel
isnotchangedaccidentally.

4.6 AUTO CHANNEL SELECTION (WS-T & WS-R)
1. First,poweronalloftheWS-TandWS-Rbeltpackstobeseton
thesamechannel.Usethepoweronprocedureinsection4.4.
2. FortheWS-T,ensurethatthechannelyouwanttouseisnot
alreadyinuseandthatthefrequencyisclearofanyinterference.
3. ChangethechanneloftheWS-Ttransmittertothedesired
channelusingtheprocedureinsection4.5.
4. ToautomaticallyconnecteachWS-Rreceivertothesame
channelastheWS-T,followthisprocedureforeachWS-R:
5. Ensurethatthe“CHANNELLOCK”switchonthebackoftheunit
isswitchedtoOFF.
6. PositiontheWS-RwithinonefootoftheWS-Ttransmitterto
connectto.
7. SimultaneouslypresstheCHANNELUPand
CHANNELDOWNbuttonsandholdfor>3
seconds.TheWS-Rwillnowsearchforthe
transmitter.
8. Oncesuccessfullyconnectedtothetransmitterchannel,theLCD
willstopashing.Thechannelshouldnowbesettothesame
oneastheWS-T.
9. ContinuethisprocessuntilallWS-Rbeltpackshavebeensetto
theWS-Tchannel.
4.7 CONNECTING TO THE AUDIO INPUTS (WS-T)
1. Totransmitaudiofromamicrophone,connectthe3.5mmplugof
theelectretmicrophoneintothemicjack.
2. Totransmitaudiofromtheline/headphoneoutputfromamedia
player/computer/etc.connecta3.5mmadaptercablefromthe
lineoutputofthedevicetothelineinputjackontheWS-T.
4.8 CONNECTING HEADPHONES (WS-R)
1. UptotwoheadphonescanbeconnectedtoeachWS-R
beltpack.
2. UsetheVOLUMEUP/DOWNbuttonstoadjustthevolumeto
thedesiredlevel.Bothheadphoneoutputsareaffectedbythe
volumecontrol.
4.9 SETTING VOLUME (WS-T & WS-R)
NOTE:Tappingthevolumebuttonwillchangethevolume
incrementally,whileholdingdownthebuttonwillresultina
continuousincreaseordecrease.
