The lightning flash with arrow-head symbol within
an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user
to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage”
within the unit’s enclosure that may be of sufficient
magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle
is intended to alert the user to the presence of
important operating and maintenance (servicing)
instructions in the literature accompanying the unit.

SAFETY AND HANDLING INFORMATION
For maximum product life, do not drop, throw, or crush the
speaker. Do not expose it to humidity, dust, or operating
temperatures outside 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C).

To reduce the risk of electric shock, burns, fire or injury:
1. Do not use while bathing or in a shower.
2. Do not place or store unit where it can fall or be pulled
into a tub or sink.
3. Do not place in, drop or submerge in water or
other liquid.
4. Do not reach for a unit that has fallen into water.
Unplug it immediately.
5. Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and
liquids are not spilled onto the unit.

3. Unplug this unit during lightning storms or when unused
for long periods of time.
4. Never drop or insert an object into any opening.
5. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched,
particularly at plug outlets, convenience receptacles and
the point where it exits the unit.
6. Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Wrap cord loosely
around the unit when storing.
7. The unit should be situated away from direct sunlight
or heat sources such as radiators, electric heaters, heat
registers, stoves, or other units (including amplifiers) that
produce heat. Avoid placing on top of stereo equipment
that radiates heat.
8. Never block the air openings of the unit with materials such
as clothing, plastic bags or papers, or place it on a soft
surface such as a bed or couch, where the air openings
may be blocked.
9. Do not overload the electrical outlet. Use only the power
source as indicated.
10. Do not carry this unit by its cord or use the cord
as a handle.
11. Never operate this unit if it has a damaged cord or plug,
if it is not working properly, or if it has been dropped or
damaged, or dropped into water. If the unit’s power supply
cord or plug is damaged, do not attempt to fix it yourself.
12. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or
attempt to repair the unit. Incorrect repair can cause risk of
electric shock or injury to persons when the unit is used.
13. Do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or
flammable fumes.
14. Never remove the plug from the outlet by pulling the

PAIRING YOUR DEVICE
1. Prepare your device to pair using Bluetooth® technology,
making sure the device is within 33 feet of the alarm
clock. Refer to your device’s owners manual for details if
necessary.
2. Press and hold the SNOOZE/PAIRING BUTTON until
the BLUETOOTH® ICON on the alarm clock LCD starts
flashing to put the alarm clock in pairing mode.
3. Select “TimeSmart Alarm Clock” on your device. If
prompted, use 0000 as a PIN for the pairing code. The
alarm clock will wait for a connection in pairing mode for
up to 2 minutes.
4. When “TimeSmart Alarm Clock” is selected, the
BLUETOOTH® ICON will stop flashing and the pairing
successful tone will sound to confirm pairing is complete.
Note:
• To cancel pairing mode, wait 2 minutes for the speaker to
cancel pairing automatically. The BLUETOOTH® ICON will
no longer be displayed on the LCD.

DOWNLOADING FREE APP
Go to the iTunes® App StoreSM (for Apple devices) or Google
PlayTM (for Android devices) to download the TimeSmart Alarm
Clock App, "TimeSmart".

SETTING THE CLOCK
1. Press and hold the CLOCK SET button until "12 H"
flashes on the LCD display.
2. Turn the VOLUME/SET DIAL to choose 12-Hour or
24-Hour clock display.
3. Press the CLOCK SET button to save the clock display
setting. The hour will flash on the LCD display. Turn the
VOLUME/SET DIAL to select the hour.
4. Press the CLOCK SET button to save the hour
setting. The minutes will flash on the LCD display. Turn
the VOLUME/SET DIAL to select the minutes.
5. Press the CLOCK SET button to save the clock
settings. If the CLOCK SET button is not pressed, the
clock settings will be saved after 5 seconds.
Note:
• If your device is connected to the clock, the TimeSmart
app settings will be updated with the clock settings.
• The Bluetooth® icon in the TimeSmart app is blue when
the clock is connected to your device. The Bluetooth® icon
is gray in the TimeSmart app when the clock is not
connected to your device.
• The TimeSmart Alarm Clock should automatically
remember your device for future use after initial pairing.
Depending on your device, you may have to select
“TimeSmart Alarm Clock” in your device’s menu.
SYNCING APP AND TIMESMART ALARM CLOCK
1. Once a Bluetooth® connection has been made between
your device and the TimeSmart Alarm Clock (please refer
to page 15 for pairing instructions), open the TimeSmart
app on your device.
2. Confirm the BLUETOOTH® PAIR INDICATOR on the main
screen of the app is BLUE, indicating that the TimeSmart
app is synced with the TimeSmart Alarm Clock.
Note: If the BLUETOOTH® PAIR INDICATOR is GRAY, the
device is not paired with the TimeSmart Alarm Clock. Please refer
to page 15 for pairing instructions.
