keeptheairsupplyandventilationfrombeingblocked.
ClEANING
• Thisbarbecueneedstobecleanedregularly.
• Makesurethebarbecueisdryandcleanandgreasethemetalparts
withoilorVaselinetoavoidrust.Alwaysstorethebarbecueafteruse.
• Don’tuseabrasivecleaningagentsand/oranti-corrosionproductsto
cleanthecontrolpanelwiththepictures.Suchaggressivecleaning
materialscanremovethepictures.
ClEANING ThE GRIll SURFACE
Theeasiestwaytocleanthegrillisimmediatelyafteruse.Useanoven
mitttoprotectyourhandagainstheatandsteam.Dipametalbarbeque
brushintapwaterandscrubthehotgrill.Dipthebrushintothewater
regularly.Thesteamcreatedwhenthewatercontactsthehotgrillwillsoak
foodparticles.Neverimmersehotpartsintothewater.

ClEANING ThE bURNERS
• Makesurethatthegastapandknobsaresettoposition“OFF”.Check
whetherthebarbecueiscooleddown.
• Cleantheexterioroftheburnerwithabrush.Removepersistingdebris
withametalscraper.Neveruseawoodentoothpickasitcanbreakand
obstructtheopening.
• Notethatyoumustcallourcustomerservicelinewhenthegassupply
totheburnerisbeingblockedbyinsectsorotherobjects.
vERY ImPORTANT: Theopeningofthegastapmustbeplacedinthe
centeroftheburnerafteryouhaveremovedandcleanedit.Ifnot,thiscan
leadtoseriousinjuriesordamagetoproperties.Lightlymovetheburner
backandforthafterreplacingittomakesureit’sinitsplace.Howoftenthe
burnerrequirescleaningdependsonhowoftenyouusethebarbecue.
ClEANING ThE DRIP TRAY
Thedriptraymustbeemptiedandcleanedregularlyandwashedwith
waterandamilddetergent.Youcouldputasmallamountofsandorcat
litterinthebottomofthedriptraytoabsorbgrease.
• Storethegrilloutdoorsonadryandwell-ventilatedspot,outofreach
ofchildren,whenthegascylinderisstillconnectedtothebarbecue.
• ONLYstorethebarbecueindoorsafterclosingandremovingthe
gascylinder.Thegascylindermustbestoredoutside,outofreachof
children,NEVERstorethecylinderinabuilding,garageorinother
confinedspace.
GAS CONNECTION
• Checkwhetheryourbarbecueisinstalledcorrectly.
• Forcorrectfunctioningofthebarbecueitisimportanttoplacethe
barbecueonanevensurface.
• Thisbarbecueissetuptobeusedwithbutaneorpropanegasbottles
from5kgtill15kg,withappropriategaspressureregulator.
• Forreplacementofthegaspressureregulatorandhosepleasesee
belowtableforcorrectspecifications:

CONNECTION OF ThE bARbECUE TO ThE GAS CYlINDER
Connectthebarbecueinthefollowingorder:
Gascylinder>pressureregulator/hose>barbecue
FOR YOUR SAFETY:
Makesuretheblackplastictubingfromthepressureregulatorinplace,
andthatthetubeisnotincontactwiththeheatshieldorthegrillitself.
Connectthepressureregulatortoyourbottle.Alwaysplacethebottleon
thefloornexttothebarbecue.
vERY ImPORTANT:
• Thetemperatureoftheregulatormaynotexceed60°C(140°F).
• Theregulatormustbeequippedwithasafetyvalveorpressurelimiter.
• Theopeningoftheregulatormustfittheconnectionofthegastapof
thecylinder.
• Checkwhetherthegastapofthetankiscompletelyclosed(turn
clockwiseuntiltheknobstops).
• Checkwhetherthegastapofthegascylinderisprovidedwithsuitable
outerthreads.
• Makesurethatallburnerknobsaresettoposition“OFF”.
• Removetheprotectivecoverfromthegastapofthegascylinder.
Alwaysusetheprotectivecoversuppliedwiththegastap.
• Inspecttheconnectionbetweenthegastapandthepressureregulator.
Lookfordamageanddirt.Removeanydebris.Checkthehoseforany
damage.Nevertryusingdamagedorblockedequipment.Contactyour
localgassupplierforrepairs.
• Whenconnectingthepressureregulatortothegastap,manuallyturn
thenutclockwiseuntilitdoesn’tgoanyfurther.Donotuseawrench
totightenthenut.Usingawrenchcandamagethejoints,whichcanbe
dangerous(asillustratedinthepicturebelow).
• Turnthegastapofthecylinderfullyopen(counter-clockwise).Usea
solutionofwaterandsoaptocheckforanyleakagebeforetryingto
ignitethegrill.Ifyouencounteraleak,youmustshutoffthegastap
andonlyusethegrillaftertheleakisrepairedbyalocalgassupplier.
• The(gaspressure)regulatorshouldcomplywiththecurrentversionof
theEN12864standardandnationalregulations.

thegascylinder.

orinconfinedspaces..
2.NEVERfillthegascylinderover80%.Overfillingagascylinderis
dangerous,becauseexcessgascanleakoutofthesafetyvalve.Gas
canescapefromthesafetyvalvecausingafire.
3.Theconnectionopeningsofthegascylindermustbeprovidedwith
protectivecovers.
4.Incaseyoudiscoveragasleakintheextragascylinder,immediately
keepyourdistanceandcallthefiredepartment.
vERY ImPORTANT: DISCONNECT ThE GAS CYlINDER whEN
ThE bARbECUE IS NOT IN USE.
DISCONNECTING ThE GAS CYlINDER:
• Turnoffallknobs.
• Completelyclosethegastapofthegascylinder(turnclockwiseuntil
theknobstops).
• Removethepressureregulatorfromthegastapbyturningthequick-
connectnutcounter-clockwise
• Replacetheprotectivecoveronthegastapofthegascylinder.

GENERAl
Allgasconnectionsofthegrillaretestedforleaksinthefactorypriorto
shipment.Nevertheless,whenmountingthedevice,itmustbechecked
entirelyforgasleaks,becauseofpossibledamagesduringtransportation
orduetoexposuretoextremepressure.Regularlycheckthedevicefor
leakage,orcheckwhetheryoucansmellanygas.
bEFORE ChECKING
• Makesuretoremoveallpackingmaterialsfromthebarbecue,including
thestrapskeepingtheburnerinitsplace.
• Donotsmokewhilecheckingforleakage.
• Nevercheckforleakagewithopenfire.
• Prepareasolutionofwaterandsoapofonepartdetergentandonepart
water.Donotuseaspraycan,brushorclothtoapplythesolutiontothe
connections.Makesurethegascylinderisfullbeforethefirstleaktest.
• Checkingforleaksmustbeperformedoutdoorsonawell-ventilated
spot,awayfromignitionsourcesuchasgasorelectricaldevicesand
combustiblematerials.
• Keepthegrillawayfromopenfireand/orsparksduringthetest.
ChECKING
• Makesureallcontrolknobsaresettoposition“OFF”.
• Makesurethepressureregulatorisproperlyconnectedtothegas
cylinder.
• Completelyopenthegastapofthegascylinderbyturningtheknob
counter-clockwise.Incaseyouhearahissingsound,IMMEDIATELYturn
offthegas;thisindicatesaseriousleakintheconnection.Contactyour
gassupplierorfiredepartment.
• Checkeachconnectionofthegascylinderallthewaythroughtothe
tapspart(thehoseleadingtotheburner)bysprayingorbrushingthe
soapsolutionontheconnections.
• Thereisaleakwhensoapbubblesappear.IMMEDIATELYclosethegas
tapofthegascylinderandcarefullycheckallconnections.Openthegas
tapagainandperformanewcheck.
• Alwaysclosethegastapofthegascylinderaftertheleaktestbyturning
theknobclockwise.
• Onlyusethepartsrecommendedbythemanufacturerforthis
barbecue.Thewarrantywillbecomevoidwhenusingotherparts.Do
notusethebarbecueuntilallconnectionsareinspectedandyouare
certaintheseshownosignsofleakage.

cooleddown.
• Closeallcontrolknobsandthegastapofthegascylinderwhennot
usingthebarbecue.
• Pushthebarbecueforwardwhenmoving,neverpullit.
• Adisconnectedgascylinderbeingstoredormovedmustbeequipped
withaprotectivecover.Donotstoreagascylinderinconfinedspaces
suchasacarport,coveredpatio,veranda,garageorotherstructures.
• Neverleaveagascylinderbehindinavehicleorboatthatcanget
overheatedbythesun.
• Donotstorethegascylinderinornearaplacewherechildrenplay.
