1) Cleaning the bottle
Before using the Water Filter Bottle for the rst time, clean the bottle
without the MicroDisc with a mild detergent or in the dishwasher. Clean
the Water Filter Bottle regularly by hand or in the dishwasher A. Be-
fore cleaning remove the MicroDisc 4and store it on a clean surface
during the cleaning process. It is also recommended to remove the seal
5before cleaning your bottle. The seal can be cleaned separately
by hand or in the dishwasher. To ensure an optimum level of hygiene,
we recommend placing the MicroDisc in a clean cup every week and
carefully pour boiling water over it. If the MicroDisc oats to the surface,
use a spoon to hold the MicroDisc to the bottom of the cup. After ve
minutes, you can reinstall the MicroDisc into the water lter. Please
make sure that your hands are clean when touching the disc and bottle.
2) Preparing the MicroDisc
Take the MicroDisc out of the packaging. Before using the MicroDisc
for the rst time, soak the MicroDisc in warm water for 1 minute
to remove any carbon dust that may be present and to
optimize water ow. B

3) Inserting the MicroDisc
Remove the bottle cap 1. Unscrew disc cover 3anti-clockwise C
and insert the disc D. Then screw the disc cover back on and put
the cap back on.
4) Filling the bottle
Unscrew bottle base 6and ll the bottle with tap water E. Then
screw the base back on to the bottle.
Remove the cap, open the mouthpiece and your Water Filter Bottle is
now ready to use!
5) Changing the MicroDisc
One MicroDisc can lter up to 60 litres of water. To ensure optimal l-
tration and hygiene, BRITA recommends the MicroDisc to be replaced
every 4 weeks. To do this, repeat step 2and 3. In some regions, the
ltration of tap water containing particles can result in a signicantly
lower ow rate. In such cases, we recommend
changing the MicroDisc more frequently.

Use only with cold water (4 °C to 40 °C). The Water Filter Bottle
may only be used with municipally treated cold tap water provided
by your local water authority. This water is constantly controlled
and according to legal regulations safe to drink. If an instruction
is received from the authorities that the mains water must be
boiled, then BRITA ltered water must also be boiled. When the
instruction to boil water is no longer in force, the entire bottle
must be thoroughly cleaned and a new MicroDisc inserted. For
certain groups of people (e.g. those with impaired immunity and
babies), it is generally recommended that tap water should be
boiled; this also applies to ltered water. BRITA ltered water is a
foodstuff intended for human consumption; you should therefore
use the water in your Water Filter Bottle within one day.
When not using your Water Filter Bottle for a longer period of time,
the bottle should be disassembled and stored completely dry.
Always store spare MicroDiscs in a cool, dry place
and ensure that they are tightly sealed.

Like each natural product, the consistency of the MicroDisc is
subject to natural variances. This can lead to a light abrasion of
small carbon particles in the packaging and in the ltered water.
These particles have no negative health effects and are not
harmful if ingested. In case you observe carbon particles, BRITA
recommends rinsing the MicroDisc thoroughly on both sides.
Dispose of used MicroDiscs with your general waste.
Dispose of the bottle according to local provisions.
Exclusion of liability
Please understand that BRITA cannot accept any liability on their
products if given usage instructions are not followed.
Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown
quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.

samego początku
1) Czyszczenie butelki
Przed pierwszym użyciem butelki ltrującej umyj ją (bez dysku
ltracyjnego MicroDisc) delikatnym detergentem lub w zmywarce.
butelkę ltrującą należy regularnie myć ręcznie lub w zmywarce A.
Przed myciem wyjmij ltr MicroDisc 4 i połóż go na czystej
powierzchni. Przed myciem butelki zaleca się również wyjęcie
uszczelki 5. Uszczelkę można myć ręcznie lub w zmywarce. Aby
zapewnić optymalny poziom higieny, rekomendujemy umieszczenie
ltra MicroDisc raz na tydzień w czystej szklance i zalanie go wrzącą
wodą. Jeśli dysk ltracyjny MicroDisc wypłynie na powierzchnię,
dociśnij go do dna za pomocą łyżki. Po pięciu minutach można
ponownie umieścić MicroDisc w uchwycie ltra. Pamiętaj, aby dotykać
dysku i butelki czystymi dłońmi.
2) Przygotowanie ltra MicroDisc
Wyjmij ltr MicroDisc z opakowania. Przed pierwszym użyciem ltra
MicroDisc namocz go w wodzie przez 1 minutę, aby
usunąć ewentualne drobinki węgla i usprawnić
przepływ wody. B

. Następnie zakręć pokrywę dysku i załóż pokrywkę butelki.
4) Napełnianie butelki
Odkręć nakrętkę
6
i napełnij butelkę wodą z kranu
E
. Dokręć nakręt-
kę z powrotem do butelki.
Po zdjęciu pokrywki i otwarciu ustnika butelka ltrująca jest gotowa
do użycia!
5) Wymiana ltra MicroDisc
Przy użyciu jednego ltra MicroDisc można przeltrować do 60 litrów
wody. W celu zapewnienia optymalnej higieny i wydajności ltrowania
rma BRITA zaleca wymianę dysku MicroDisc co cztery tygodnie.
W tym celu powtórz czynności 2i 3.
W pewnych regionach ltracja wody z kranu zawierającej cząstki może
zmniejszyć przepływ wody. W takich przypadkach zalecamy
częstszą wymianę ltra MicroDisc.

II. Ważne
informacje
ltr BRITA. Jeśli wymóg przegotowywania wody przestanie
obowiązywać, całą butelkę należy dokładnie umyć i umieścić w
niej nowy ltr MicroDisc. W przypadku pewnych grup ludzi (np.
i suchym miejscu, zabezpieczone przed wilgocią.
